Ive been coming here over the years and the staff is very very friendly and my recent injector Valentina is just the best! I did botox with her a couple of years ago and most recently did sculptra and she did an excellent job. She basically did a corrective Sculptra from a previous injector who only injected it into my cheeks and made me look like a chipmunk. Valentina isn't a full time staff so I would recommend booking her in advance for your next procedure. Also they gave me a monthly discount and on top of that I was able to use my Alle points. read more

This was my first time receiving treatment or services at Trifecta Med Spa Downtown and I have one word- Kamille. I had a needling session with Kamille and as this was my first time for this particular treatment, my experience was EXCELLENT. Kamille was professional, proficient and personable. She was very honest about what to expect, what might be uncomfortable and explained each step as we moved forward. The first thing she did was take pictures of my face, then applied numbing cream, and made sure I was comfortable. The micro-needling was not totally painless, but also not something I couldn't handle (and I'm a wimp). Immediately after, my face felt flush and tight. Once finished she applied an algae mask that calmed everything down and I was ready to go. Kamille provided simple after care instructions and since she explained thoroughly what to expect post treatment, I was prepared for what was to come over the next 7 days. I trusted Kamille, I trusted the process and I love my results. My skin is much brighter and overall looks tighter and looks better with each passing day. Do not get Botox from here and read other negative Botox related reviews below. Those are real reviews. I've been getting Botox treatments for a couple of years so I know who is good, what works and what does not. I have a feeling that they don't inject the units they charge you for, or they dilute it cuz after spending $700 I am not seeing the usual results that I'm used to. Plus, she doesn't seem to consider your overall facial muscles/facial expressions, etc - if you say your concern is forehead, she will inject Botox in a few areas in your forehead and you're done! Oh and my smile/facial expression looks so weird after the Botox. This place is like a factory - in and out. Was such a waste of money and will never return to this place. read more

I'm using Trifecta services for few years now,usually go to downtown or midtown locations. I wanted to try the new Carbon Laser Facial so I had to go to Trifecta Park ave location for this particular facial. I like how they explained what to expect step by step so I was not surprised from the loud sound from the laser. OMG this facial is amazing if you don't need deep cleaning. The staff here is very responsive and extremely nice and accommodating so I truly wanted to give them 5 stars but unfortunately l was out with someone who did not have proper training or they have malfunctioning machines. I am severely burned and scarred on my chest from an IPL photofacial treatment with Tina. I had such high hopes because of how nice the staff was and have been. They have been very responsive and sending in burn creams but I have had to cancel my upcoming beach trip for my birthday because my chest is scarred like a checkerboard. The person I saw in the past for Botox was amazing which is why I decided to try IPL there but unfortunately she left. I had this treatment elsewhere a year or two ago and no issues it came out wonderful but I did my research that time on exactly who was performing the treatment. read more

Tear Trough Fillers!! I usually don't Review But you have to know my experience before you visit Trifecta So I visited this place less than a year ago. They were really good at talking - staff was nice and patient - after that I met Valentina Hadland (The Nurse - also it's my fault that I didn't research enough before going to The Nurse Valentina) You Must Know (I was 27years old when I got the procedure done and now I'm 28) However, she Convinced me to go for VOLUMA filler and not for Restylane (Also, I didn't know that VOLUMA is not for Tear Trough). anyway, I spent more then 1000$ for VOLUMA. A week later I felt my face was tooo heavy - I mean my face look big so I called at the clinic asked them if I can meet Valentina and very next day I was in the clinic trying to understand what's going on. Nurse Valentina suggested me to go for another syringe of Restylane. So I did (how stupid of me haha) and spent some more around 700$ Or something. Two weeks later I didn't know what happed to my face. I'am a working Model and Actor - I started to loose my jobs and I had to move back to my country to fix my face . However, when I came back to Newyork I made an appointment to meet the Doctor (not the Nurse) to address my issues because I was pissed .. This time I go in and the front desk starts to say - no no no Valentina is great and you know what you look the same, you still look so pretty OMG!!! --- And I was like .. YES OMG!!! I came for Tear Trough fillers and your Nurse Valentine performed the procedure on my cheeks OMG!!!! Also, I met Rosalie Curreri, who totally refused to do anything on my face because she New that Valentina had done her job tooo nicely. I look dull and tired after taking reversible injections. It's been about 5 months that me and my new doctor (from NewYork) been trying to fix asymmetry but it's hard, so I'am Trying to get the history chart from Trifecta spa so that my new MD can see and hopefully he'll be able to fix my issues. First of all, the receptionist...loved her! So absolutely sweet and chatty. Was a pretty seamless process from "before" pictures, filling in some personal info on the iPad and then waiting for the appointment. It was my first time getting Botox and was a little hesitant and scared I'd come out looking like a patient on "Botched." Being that I'm 25, this was really bold of me to do and seemed a bit too early in my life, but I really do believe in the power of facial Botox being preventative medicine. Maybe I'm a sucker? I don't know. All in all, it was a great experience. It's been a few days and the results are very clear to me, but in the best way. I've ONLY had wonderful experiences here. Dr. Curreri is an angel -- greets me warmly every time, does a wonderful job, NEVER overdoes it. I've gotten Botox at several different places over the years and I'm now a loyal Trifecta client. They're very accommodating of my schedule -- they'll do late Friday appointments -- and always respond to my emails with timeliness and a friendly message. If you are someone interested in trying Juvederm but feeling hesitant about the initial swelling or how it all might look, I highly recommend getting half of a vial one day, and then waiting to see after 2 weeks or so to get the second. The receptionist recommended this to me and it made all the difference. From what I've seen of other reviews, they either had to do with Groupon issues (and don't get me started on Groupon!) or with dissatisfaction with the service itself, not the provider. I'd recommend keeping that in mind when perusing! read more

This is my first time getting a botox and went to Trifecta Med Spa Downtown today (09/30) as I promised myself to get it before my 40th birthday. The front desk woman was very polite and even Marissa who did my botox. I feel welcomed since it was my very first time at the clinic and getting the procedure done. Been reading and watching videos on how it's done online. The only thing I was surprised was the amount of money I paid $678!!! I wasn't informed how many units I'll be getting and I was shocked when they told me I need to pay that amount. Of course I did pay because I do not have any option but I could've been informed at first. I didn't even see the amount of units that were on the syringes so I am not really sure about the units they really used to treat my forehead, frown lines and crow's feet and based on the receipt I received 52 units of Botox . I just feel robbed to be honest. I don't think this is the right way to treat their patients by surprising them of the amount of service they do without even telling the price right off the bat. If I could've known I didn't pursue it and looked for other Spa out there. A friend was about to book an appointment at Trifecta and when she called me and asked how was it and told her about the situation she refused to book an appointment. read more

This review is for the financial district office. I got an internet deal for 6 laser treatments, and just finished my series. The office itself is sunny, clean and comfortable, and the decor is lovely. I had two techs over the 6 months, both of whom were pleasant and thorough. There's a bit of pressure (like everywhere) to sign up for more treatments, but no one treated me any less well when I declined. I edid add on an ultherapy treatment earlier in the year, which did seem to give a subtle lift to my neck area. (The tech and I both forgot to review the before and after pix, so I can't say for sure.) Toward my last couple of visits however, a not so subtle tip envelope holder appeared at the reception desk. Call me crazy but I don't think a medical treatment done by a trained professional should involve a tip. I'm not sure if this is a new policy, but shouldn't the "medical" spa be paying the employees enough that they don't require extra cash from clients? I'd have given it a 4 star rating and considered going back for different treatments, but frankly, the whole tip thing creeped me out. read more

UPDATE! The manager called me to ask that I come back in. I went and they offered to give me a full refund or put more to fix it - up to me. I asked that they fix and saw Dr. Cuerari (not sure if I spelled her name right). She was amazing. i It's been a little more than a week since my follow up visit. I'm really impressed of their proactivity and making sure their patients are satisfied. Really, thanks so much Zeefah and team! I went in for botox about 10 days ago. The staff are very friendly and were kind the whole time. Dr. K saw me. I told him exactly what I wanted - a brow lift, because one of my eyebrows is lower than the other. I told him that I've had this done many other times before and have been getting botox for over 2 years now. I still let him do the 20 units on my forehead, although I was a little weary of his qualifications. My eyebrow is now significantly even lower! At least before it was minimal - now my one eyelid is drooping! I will definitely be calling for a full refund. read more

This review is more about coolsculpting than the office I visited. The office is quite nice. Super friendly staff and very clean facilities. I had a coolsculpting procedure done a few months ago on the love handle section of my body. I went in recently for a follow up visit to view the results. I was quite disappointed. I had achieved a small fat reduction, not at all what i was expecting. I am not a big eater, i work out, lift weights and generally eat healthy. I was told i needed to diet and excercise more to see tangible results. Very disheartening as I already eat healthy and exercise regularly. My suggestion to you is to save your money and put it towards liposuction which is far more definitive. The results are clear cut and do not dependent on a lifestyle change. Thank you read more

I love coming in for treatment with Joelle, because she is so nurturing and caring. You feel taken care of. I believe that goes a long long way in why I keep coming back.. She recommended the micro needling treatment for some of the concerns I had, and I have to say, after 3 sessions, I can really see an improvement in the quality of my skin. Then there's Dr. Valentina. She is incredibly knowledgable when it comes to fillers and how to use them to enhance your face. It's an art form for her! She's the BEST of the BEST. As I have been going to Trifecta for over a year now, I thought I should share my positive thoughts. I get it, we all write reviews when we're pissed off, but I wholeheartedly disagree with some of the reviewers who mention the staff being rude. I see Joelle for facials, peels, and laser hair removal. She is super duper nice and she actually knows what she's doing. Truth be told, that alone would keep me coming back, but the real cherry topper for me is that she actually pays attention to what's going on with my skin and can reflect back months and months ago. She never once made me feel pressure to over treat my skin, which I'm sure crosses all of our minds when we see celebrities in magazines walking around with half of their faces falling off. The fact is, many times, she's flat out told me "no" to certain facial treatments as they might not be good for my skin, especially if it's too close to the time of a last treatment. Furthermore, the two receptionists are gems. Laureal, who is no longer there, was always amazing. And her replacement Zifa (I'm surely not spelling her name right, but will get the correct spelling next time I'm in) is equally awesome. Love them. Hooray Trifecta! read more

The staff at Trifecta MedSpa are extremely helpful and accommodating. From the minute I called to schedule my consultation to the day I arrived, they were extremely attentive and responsive. I had to move my appointment back slightly, which went into their off hours yet they stayed so that I would not miss my time. During my free consultation, I was told that I was not a suitable candidate for the treatment I was interested in. I REALLY appreciated their honesty - any other place could have easily told me the contrary and would have taken my money. During my visit, I got a Hydra Facial instead and it was exactly what I needed. Ting, my Aesthetician, walked me through exactly what she was doing as she treated me. I have sensitive skin, but my face had very minimal redness immediately following the treatment, which I was not expecting but was very pleasantly surprised! She gave me great skin care tips after and I will definitely be returning when I'm due for another skincare treatment. P.S. If you intend to pay via credit card, bring cash for tipping. I was a loyal customer here for around 5 years without issue. Referred many friends (whom I will be taking with me), and was for the most part happy. Until...I recently bought a package as a gift for my husband. After his first treatment I realized that the rate for hus service was double what I pay considering surface-area due to men not getting the lower third of their face treated due to facial hair--yet being charged a full face. It felt discriminatory toward a class already unlikely to seek out a beauty treatments, and worse an insult to a customer's math intelligence. I didn't think that was TMS's intent so I thought I'd point it out with constructive feedback. I didn't want a place I frequented to lose business when someone found a better deal elsewhere. To me it was merely an oversight. Illogical math. After my appointment they sent an email asking "How'd we do?" I took this opportunity to give my feedback. "Rate us" on Yelp or some such and further down it read "not satisfied?" "click here" I selected this option. I certainly didn't want my feedback public (like it is now) because it was just constructive. Not a real complaint. I didn't want to lower their rating. I just voiced my opinion bc they LITERALLY asked "let us know how we can improve". I wrote with logic, math, and basic understanding of square surface area. I hit send, thinking my feedback would be communicated via a manager to corporate/or whoever does pricing and that I'd never think about it again. Instead my phone immediately rang from the Trifecta downtown office with an irate manager who berated me on the other end "Omg.! Why did you do that?! Why would you send that?! Everyone can see it! My whole company. You're getting me in trouble" I explained that I was sorry and had absolutely no intention in getting anyone in trouble. I never mentioned an actual issue or any bad service, just a suggestion, and I intentionally responded internally so as to not create a bad review. In shock that at this point I was forced to argue my opinion to a REQUESTED FEEDBACK email with insane illogical gaslighting. This manager then told me that SHE DID NOT REQUEST my feedback and then continued that if I wasn't happy it was NYC and I could go elsewhere. I was flabbergasted. Wow. Fully mentally unstable customer service. As I said, I was never unhappy until this psychotic moment. Meanwhile I had just prepaid for multiple services in full on that day. That said, I wasn't going to give my money to a place who would hire a manager that gives the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was so in shock by this Gaslighting insanity that it took me a half hour to realize I no longer felt comfortable there trusting these people with lasers and needles. Meanwhile this manager over-the-top politely responded to the email internally (knowing her boss and the rest of company would see). "Thank you so much for your valuable feedback!" She gushed. "We'll let the owners know your thoughts." So HERE, I am leaving my thoughts for the owners to see. They lost a very good and satisfied customer. I was very happy with this place until I was insulted by your manager. I called back after an hour and got a refund for all my services planned for the future. I am going elsewhere, where my business and feedback are appreciated, as are the 5 friends I referred to Trifecta. This is truly unfortunate for the owners who are likely unaware they are losing business unnecessarily and when the other people who work there are lovely. read more

I loved my experience here! The Med Spa is clean and unlike so many other places where I usually freeze, they have a blanket set up so I'm not freezing while receiving the treatment. I feel bad I can't remember her name right now, but my technician was really honest and explained all the risks and every step she was doing while performing the hydrafacial procedure. I have a little bit of redness right now but mostly my skin is super soft. I'm waiting a couple days to check if I react negatively at all but I'm already thinking of when my next appointment will be! read more

I bought a laser package from trifecta and have been very pleased with their service. They are accommodating - since they are not that close to my neighborhood and effective in treatment. Their regular prices are on the high-end side but I am very pleased with the promotional cost and the extra $$ that they charge me when I need an additional area treated. I bought a deal for this place on Lifebooker as it just opened up in the FiDi area (conveniently located within walking distance from where I live) and I didn't really know what to expect. However, I've been there for 2 sessions of laser hair removal so far and I must say, their machine really seems to minimize pain and discomfort; in terms of effectiveness I guess time will tell. The staff is very professional and extremely nice. Coming from someone who has been to all kinds of sketchy type laser places that offer deals on lifebooker/groupon/livingsocial which really pay little to no attention to customer service I can definitely say that this place is the real deal. read more

Just wanted to follow up on the Ultherapy treatment I had done a few months ago. I decided to do my upper face because they had a special. The results...are...PHENOMENAL! If you can handle a little bit of pain, I say go for this treatment, you will not be disappointed. I seriously *love* the Hydrafacials. Unlike other chemical peels that leave my skin red, I leave the office glowing every time. It has improved my overall complexion only after 4 treatments. This place and its "professionals" made for one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a business in my entire life. 1) The doctor was aloof and did not ask questions about where I'd like to receive the Botox. 2) She injected it in my face - obviously in the wrong part of my face - and now half of my face can not smile. It is mortifying. 3) After corresponding with the office, I went in and they told me this lack of movement due to my paralyzed muscle would go away in three weeks. 4) It didn't. 5) After getting in touch with them again, still with a crooked smile and after months of hiding and embarrassment, I finally get to speak with the "doctor" who did this to me. 6) This woman, Dr. Curreri, was so rude I thought I was being pranked. She ended up hanging up on me and was so beyond unprofessional and unsympathetic about what SHE did to my face that I am still in shock.
