My wife and I recommend Trinity Air without hesitation or reservation! It's been a year since Dell Jackson and his son Tyler installed a mini-split heat pump system in our house, which was built in the late 1920's. My wife and I hired him because of the installation he did at her parents' house six months earlier. We were impressed with the workmanship and service, the fairness of Trinity Air's pricing policy, and most importantly, with Dell and his son Tyler as people. Trinity Air has a pricing system that is very fair. It allowed us to have a premier system installed for nearly 20% less than the lowest quote we got from other local firms to install a much lesser-quality system, whose equipment cost was half that of ours. Dell and Tyler Jackson kept their word, did more than they had to, did a great install and provided exemplary service, all at a very fair price. The story: We had to replace a system that was installed in the mid 1980s and was on its last legs. The air handler and gas heater were in the attic. We had several local contractors come out and give us estimates on two types of systems, conventional and modular (mini-split). Some of their quotes were so high it was almost insulting, especially on mini-split systems. I wanted to install a mini-split system because of efficiency and quietness, plus eliminating the possibility of condensate or gas leaks in the attic, both of which had occurred. I asked Dell if he would install a mini-split system and allow me to purchase the equipment. (I wanted a particular brand, as their technology is the best, quietest, most reliable and longest-lived. I knew that if I ordered it myself it I would save a ton of money, but also that I would not have a warranty.) Dell told us he had seen only a couple of these types of modular heat pump systems but he would be willing to do so for us. Right in front of me, he called the local wholesaler and got a price for him to purchase the equipment I wanted. To my surprise the price of the equipment plus the markup percentage Dell adds for pickup, delivery, and hauling away the old system was the same as I was going to pay the out-of-state wholesaler solely for the equipment plus freight, and as a bonus we now had the manufacturer's equipment warranty as well as Trinity Air's installation warranty. Then, Dell brought in a subcontractor from Georgetown experienced in modular systems to help him with the installation. The install was quick and painless for us, although Dell had some unforeseen extra work that cost him some time and expense, which he explained honestly and to his credit did not attempt to pass on to us. The quality of work is excellent. The system has been working trouble-free for a year now. It cools spectacularly and heats well. It's much more quiet than a central system. Our electric bill in the summer is 1/3 of what it used to be with the old system (The compressor is a 21 SEER and the head units are 19 SEER). The old system had gas heat, so I can't figure what the savings from conventional electric heat would be, but we're saving a bunch on our gas bill this winter. We've lived in our home for almost a year now and noticed that the core of the house stayed comfortable but the bedrooms on either side of the house had difficulty getting cool, so I finally decided to call in a heating & air company to check the system out and am sure glad that I did. After thoroughly inspecting our system the owner (Dell) showed me how jury rigged the original setup had been with one unit for the entire house (undersized at that), a broken flapper of some sort that was supposed to route the A/C between upstairs & down, bent up ducts etc.... a real mess at any rate. He explained the failure tendencies of systems set up as mine presently was and said that he could fix it as it was but that wouldn't solve the problem of getting adequate air flow to the bedrooms. I also wanted to get away from propane heat so asked him about best case solutions to solve that as well as get adequate airflow throughout the house at the same time, and he outlined solutions that involved converting to heat pumps and installing two units In order to properly zone the house this time around. There was no pressure to sell me anything - he was very honest and totally low key giving me prices of various heat pump units and time to decide on my own which way I preferred to go (repair things as they were or change things and if I did change them which units to buy). Once I made my decision he scheduled the work and came out with his crew on time and got right to work. His staff were all professional, courteous, and always left the house tidied up at the end of each work day. As so often happens with major remodel type jobs (in this case, switching out my existing AC & furnace and converting everything to all electric heat pumps), something gets missed along the way when figuring the job - and that happened here in the fact that some extra electric work had to be done that Trinity Air hadn't figured into their bid, but they not only called the electrical contractor back out to make sure it was done properly, but to their enormous credit, they also stayed true to their bid and absorbed the added expense themselves. How rare is that??? Five stars isn't high enough -- I'd give them 10 if Yelp had that choice. I would most definitely recommend Trinity Air to friends and family for all of their heating & A/C needs. read more

I have used Trinity Air for a few years now and have had varying experiences until Rico came to work on my AC. He is the best tech I have ever worked with and I would happily recommend Trinity if Rico is your tech! For two summers, my 2-4 year old AC was not properly cooling. Trinity sent multiple tech's out who said there was likely a leak but failed to properly locate and repair it. I paid them to do a leak search, dye test and to refill the Freon without the actual issue being resolved. I was worried about a Freon leak in my home and extremely disappointed in the lack of repair on my system and felt that it was not being properly diagnosed nor any repair being done. That was, until this year when Rico came out to the job. I called Trinity for the third summer in a row, unhappy that my system again was acting low on Freon. Rico came out and was determined to locate and repair the issue. He is unlike other repairman who would rather put a bandaid fix to the issue and get on with the next job. He actually cares, is honest and extremely knowledgable and works diligently to locate and fix the actual problem. There was indeed a leak that other tech's had failed to find. It took Rico some time but he took the time to actually search for it. It turned out to be covered under my warranty and after locating the leak, he replaced the coil. I wish all service industries had a tech like Rico! Because of my experience with Trinity, I would only recommend them if Rico is on the job. Request Rico and you will be in great hands! read more

Trinity Air helped me last summer, with duct work, replacing some leaking plenums, installing new boxes for some registers (vents), then going through every A/C register and applying sticky insulation material under edges of each register to seal air from leaking around the register. They were professional and did all work with high quality a major objective. Dell, the owner, had his son, Tyler, come here this week to repair a problem vent and box. Tyler went further, without charging any payment, and helped redesign a portion of one duct run, to better direct the flow through the kitchen area. Dell and his crew did an amazing job helping us out! Our AC got mold in it and so they had to replace a lot of the stuff in the attic. Not only that, but they helped us figure out what probably caused the issue to begin with, so that it wouldn't happen again. They were thorough and responsive. They answered all our questions and helped us pick an approach to fix the problem. They even stayed late one night to make sure we had a working AC that night and wouldn't have to go without it over night! Their prices were fair and they were dedicated in their work.
