Trinity Kitchen is located by gate D2. The only reason I picked this restaurant was because I didn't want to walk back to the other places. Gate D1 is a dead end. I ordered chips & guacamole $11.50, truffle burger $17.25, Michelob Ultra light $10. The chips were cold and it came in a to-go container. The kitchen is somewhere else and I noticed someone walking back and forth to deliver the food. The truffle burger had no truffle taste. It was just a regular cheeseburger. Service was excellent. The bartenders attend to you quickly. There are charging ports accessible from anywhere you sit. Its location is close to seating for gate D3/4, the restrooms, and gate waiting lounge areas. I ordered the meatballs. Food came out quickly. I particularly liked the marinara sauce. They were generous with the mozzarella topping, it was extra cheesy. The meatballs themselves were okay. It was the most thorough service I've ever had. She used good humor to keep the laughs rolling. She even went as far as to go get me Reese's Big Cups for desert since none of their options for desert were g-free. I was shocked! She handled our shinanigans and joking around in stride and had some quick and witty snap backs for us. It was a nice change to typical airport attitudes at places. The food tasted amazing for airport fare, and they had plenty of seating that was great for hanging out while you wait for your flight. I had a burger on a gluten free bun and it was very good. But I was so impressed by the quality of food. I had to write about it. I'm just ordering f some breakfast tacos and a Latte. First off, eggs are expensive and for $13 you get 3 large tacos with at least 2 scrambled eggs in each. Super fluffy and perfectly cooked. Thick crispy bacon, the tacos are loaded with cheese and I got some pico de gallo to go on it. The pico was ok. Not traditional, more like salsa. But still tasted fresh and great. I'm just sort of blown away by the generous Texas sized amount of food. Oh yeah and crispy hot salty tater tots. Perfect! On point! My wife got the burger and fries. It was a large burger and the fries were the coated variety and were hot and crisp. The burger was nicely seasoned and every bite was sad because I was devouring the burger and was not going to have time to get another one in time for my long lay over. When I found the Trinity Bar and Kitchen at the Dallas Ft. Worth Airport, it was because American Airlines had switched my gate 4 times! I am thankful that we fell into this gate. Great service, great food, and great experience. I sat in the chairs facing the run way and listened to Jordon sing along as he took drink and food orders.
