Just went to Trio's Pizza and all I can say is.... The Hype should be called The Truth! Everything hits and make sure to also get a Thinny Thin Pie Everyone was helpful in explaining the differen't slices and bringing us our food. The ambiance was peaceful and welcoming. My party sat outside and it was great way to enjoy the slices and late summer nature

My first experience was not one that made me want to return. Pizza was dry and burned. Sandwiches were lacking sauce as well. What made me return is remembering how friendly the owners were. This time I only ordered a plain slice ( my go to) it was pregame what I call a finisher. You eat the crust because the dough is that good. Great sauce and cheese. The man who helped me was super professional and friendly. I won't compare with pizza in this area. It's a different style than most. Level say I will return.

Ordered for pick-up on a Friday night and it was very busy, but staff was attentive. The pizzas themselves were a bit on the pricier side but the menu items were unique. The thinny thin was thin but not crunchy on the bottom (mind you, I live 5 minutes from Trio so it was not sitting in the box long) so it was otherwise a standard cheese pizza with basil for $20. The trio-roni tasted good and had a nice sicilian bread, but the pepperoni distribution was crazy (see picture) and it was a little soggy. Flavors were good though. The individual slices people were ordering while inside the restaurant looked much better than what we received in our take out order, would maybe try eating in next time.

I saw a great review of this place on Tiktok and had to check it out. Located right on Rt. 6 at Baldwin Place..its easy to drive past..but that woukd be a mistake. You walk in, immediately confronted with Beautiful Specialty slices, Garlic knots, and many other delicious looking bites. Place is clean, spacious, with very beautiful colorful artwork on the walls. The young lady who took our order was polite, Professional, and very nice. We ordered the highly recommend "Thinny Thin" ( a thin well done New Haven style ) We sat in they're lovely patio and the pizza was delivered to us. It was absolutely Delicious!! Was bigger then we expected and had to bring 2 slices home..( which will make a fantastic midnight snack ) The other side of the Pizzaria is and Ice cream shop that looked yummy....we will try it next time. Anyway they are doing things right over here and we will definitely add them to the rotation. ( they are much more the Pizza BTW, we are definitely looking forward to trying some of their delicious sounding Entrées ) Stop in and Grab a Great meal...Enjoy!

I will be honest, this restaurant is a solid 3.5, and in my opinion closer to 3 than 4, but my…read morefamily insisted on 4. The interior is old-fashioned looking, with sad furniture and dying poinsettia plants on window sills (this is March). It is clean and well lit though, so that's a plus. We ordered different things for lunch and honestly the food is average. My daughter had penne ala vodka, and the sauce was bright orange, with pasta swimming in it. My husband's chicken parm was okay, he didn't enjoy the sauce that much. My daughter liked her chicken salad, and chicken tasted particularly good. I had a caprese panini and it was a bit runny and overly salty. The prices for lunch were reasonable. The service was friendly and helpful. The waitress kept checking in on us and even packed our leftovers for us. Much appreciated. This place is good if you are feeing nostalgic and want that old fashioned Italian vibe. Honestly, it is not my cup of tea, but my mother in law swears by this restaurant as it brings back memories for her. To each their own. I would not be back personally.

A friend mentioned it had good food, great prices, and table service and he was going down there, so we all stopped in for lunch. Great decision. The prices are very reasonable! One of the best Italian-American restaurant/pizzerias I've found in years; and I've eaten more than my share of pizza in many countries. Only top quality ingredients are used! We each ordered a different 12" pizza, one for each of us. In hindsight, we could've ordered one pizza that the three of could have shared and would we have been satiated! My significant other ordered a prosciutto and arugula pizza. She had one at Cancino's in Mexico City November 2019 and LOVED it. We've never seen it on another menu here. So, when she saw it on their menu, she ordered it right away! It was perfect! There was about 4 ounces of arugula and the $20 something a pound prosciutto on it. See the photo. No crispy cremated prosciutto chips nor wilted arugula arrived to the table. My friend had the red meat pizza. It looks like about a pound of sausage meat and a whole pepperoni was sliced and put on his pizza. He kept picking pepperoni off his pizza and putting it on ours. What we had looked like a normal pepperoni pizza; there was that much on his! There was a small group who ordered pasta dishes. They looked great also. Yelpers get a 10% discount.

I've gotten it a few times and always a good meal. Fries are excellent as well. However, I said earlier, "When I have gotten the food..." This doesn't always happen. I've ordered from them about 7 times and have only actually gotten the food 4 times. Twice, I ordered on Yelp for delivery. In one case they just cancelled the order and in another case, I got a notification that the food was delivered but never got it. Grub Hub called them and said it was an error. This was about 2 hours after I ordered. Finally, I figured I'd go pick it up. Ordered it on Yelp. Went to the restaurant after about an hour and they said, "Someone already picked up your order." They did offer to make it for me there, but I couldn't wait around. The place itself is pretty sparse but clean. I think the food is a 4 but the overall experience from a service standpoint is a 2. Average it out to a 3.

It was two slices of thin, cut breast over brown and coated with an immense amount of breading that slid right off the chicken. They should've just called it a breading on a bun sandwich. I understand restaurants wanting to save money during these trying times but this was unacceptable. They could have done better by using three chicken tenders and would've had substantially more protein in the sandwich and it would've been the same food cost. The 2, thin sliced chicken breasts on the sandwich were overcooked. Chicken Coop attempted to make the Nashville sandwich look more substantial by using a huge bun. please put away the cleaning, rag and spray cleaner in the cabinet in the bathroom instead of leaving it out. It doesn't make a nice impression. Trash cans throughout the restaurant needed emptying, which would've been a good time because they were not busy.
