This place is super close to my house so going here is a matter of convenience. The staff has always been great and the restaurant is always clean. The food has always been a problem whether it's undercooked/overcooked eggs and recently it's been their hash browns and toast. Both are not crispy/toasted and completely soggy with grease/butter. I'd try it again - I think it may have just been an off day for the restaurant. The food was solid and the service really nice but we were mostly forgotten about at a booth in the far back of the restaurant. Food came out barely warm - hash browns with biscuits and gravy should all be items easily kept hot in a breakfast joint. Even if the biscuits aren't warm, throw on some hot gravy and you're good to go. My guess is the food was forgotten at the pass for a little too long and quickly became cold. Maybe invest in some heat lamps? Again, the two bites I took were very delicious so it's worth trying this place again. read more

The food was delicious I had the Reuben Sandwich with fry's and the wife had the Carrollton Cob Salad. Coffee and sweet tea was perfectly made. Typical American cafe type ambiance and the restaurant was clean. The service seemed to be troublesome, don't know if it was new help, lack of experience or something else but I was almost ready to leave after having our tea and coffee served and then the waitress disappeared nearly 15 minutes before returning. The positives. The restaurant is clean, modern with a decent atmosphere. Negatives. The food is grossly over priced and lacks flavor. I ordered scrambled eggs and received something that appeared to be a scrambled patty whereas the eggs were cooked as an omelette? they can also remove the makeshift outside eating area. The tables are literally on the tiny sidewalk right up against to park cars. if you want a little fumes with your meal then have at it. $75 for breakfast for two and one child is highly ridiculous. Went there today on a recommendation of no less than 4 people from my gym. Was told by all that the food was great and the people really nice. Boy, did they not disappoint. I had the Classic Benedict, and it was no less than perfect. Crunchy English muffin, plump eggs, great tasting Canadian bacon and heavenly hollandaise sauce. Coffee was really good, too. Went here for a work lunch and it was awesome! Very clean environment and they take Covid protocols seriously with plastic barriers between tables. Great new spot for breakfast and lunch in north Carrollton! Food was excellent and the portions are all good size. Staff was very friendly and service was attentive, even as the crowd size increased. We had several different items from the menu from the basic (bacon, eggs, and pancakes) to a generous serving of avocado toast. My favorite was the Country Benedict which was a combination of biscuits, sausage, and gravy with two poached eggs. Very well done and very filling! Pretty good! Hash skillet was great, grits were nice and buttery. Side of bacon comes with a TON of bacon, which is nice for sharing. French toast was really good, however it was a little disappointing because my order of French toast only came with one piece. I think the menu said it was supposed to come with two... idk 7.50 for one piece of bread seems a little high. It was really good it just felt half empty? Not sure. Decided to try breakfast to-go based on the awesome reviews. Unfortunately, it fell a little short for us. We ordered the chicken fried steak skillet with sunny side up eggs and biscuits and the bacon omelette with pancakes. The eggs were cooked perfectly, but the whole dish was lacking salt, and the chicken fried steak could have been more tender. And, gravy was a little sparse. The omelette, too was underseasoned, sadly. Pancakes were fluffy, tasty and cooked well. The shining star was the biscuits -- flaky and buttery. Super delicious! read more

My biggest issue is they don't serve brewed iced tea, it was from a fake tea machine. We are in Texas, serve brewed tea! Will probably give them a second chance! Two weeks later! I receive a very friendly response about my feedback on fresh brewed tea and am very pleased to share that they now offer great brewed tea! They have won my heart and we will be regulars now.
