I usually come here all the time with my mom and everything seems great but this time wasn't the best. I usually get the meat lover skillet and she gets oatmeal. Well today we decided to take my brother to come try it out and he got the same thing as me which was the meat lover skillet and there was a long piece of hair deep inside the eggs which is disgusting. I ABSOLUTELY love this place. I love how I'm able to add whatever I want to just about anything. I was able to add grilled onion and jalepeno on my already stuffed burger! One of the best burgers in the DFW area. They're very versatile, and very friendly. The whole staff made sure I had everything I needed, and gave me some good laughs at the same time!! First we were seated at a dirty table, we watched the waitress wipe half of the table before she sat us there, still dirty. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch wrap, I received a burnt grilled tasteless chicken bacon ranch wrap minus the ranch. My spouse ordered a BLT with a fried egg on top. He received and BLT cut in half with no egg, the egg came later on a separate plate. We told the waitress our concerns, asked for a menu to verify my wrap should not be grilled or burnt for that matter, she apologized but never brought the menu. We will not be back. I am one to enjoy Breakfast. This is now my favorite place. COVID-19 has limited my outings for over a year, so having a breakfast this close to home means a lot. The owners are a true family and strive to give friendly fast personal service. All employees seem helpful. Serving the best cup of coffee I have ever had. (I first found this coffee in a private family Breakfast place and now know if a place service this brand of coffee I will enjoy the food.) They also will sell you the hard to find coffee and loaf of the Bread they use for the cinnamon toast. Just ask. I have only tried one item from the lunch menu and really need to return for more items. They have been open for a while I just have not been out. They have me hooked. Have been going to this location since it opened and it WAS consistently good both foodwise and servicewise. More recently it seems to be in a downward spiral. All the waitstaff has changed hands multiple times. There is no management on site that we could see. The owners we were told were spending most time at the Fort Worth location but they really need to be more visible in the Carrollton location. The previous manager they had, Joy, was a delight and kept things going but she recently left. The current waitstaff seem to be very inexperienced and the food quality has slipped. Hope this corrects because it would be a shame for this business to fail. read more

Is this place buying reviews? 02/14/2023 horrible experience. 10am. Sign said seat yourself. One person at the bar and a woman and child trying to settle into booth next to us. Water on the floor between our booths and water on her seat. Two employees behind the counter counting and arguing over tips. No one so much as looked at us. After waiting 15 minutes without anyone coming over we left. As we walked out the door the blonde female employee sarcastically thanked us and told us to have a great day. This place is the worst! The food was great. Large portions for a very reasonable price. My waitress was awesome, super sweet and outgoing but that's about it on the positives. The "owner" was having a "business meeting" in the middle of the restaurant leaning over the bar. Super professional I know but that's not even the issue. The issue was while the maybe 5 or 6 tables of people were eating in the small restaurant one of the servers with a clear superiority complex, I believe his name was Adam, tall skinny white kid with a curly fro starts yelling across the bar area at another server demanding he takes a tall and small beverage to table 1. Then reprimands him about knowing his tables and getting it right. The owner was directly in the middle of this and did not even flinch. I complained to my waitress because I felt bad for the young man that was just embarrassed in front of the entire place and she of course was sweet and apologized. The whole time I'm telling her my issue with what just happened the "owner" just stared at me. I finished my meal paid and decided to go to the counter to buy a bottle of hot sauce. I again expressed my utter disdain for what happened the owner yet again stood there and stared at me. I'm in the corporate world and understand meetings are vital but when you have a staff member yelling across a small restaurant, disrespecting another staff member and the paying patrons keeping your business open you step away from your so called meeting and fix the situation. Worst part is the two times the "owner" stared at me from about 5 feet away he never even uttered an apology. Honestly all he had to say was I'll take care of it but it's absolutely clear he does not care about his employees, patrons, or business. Sad. read more

Overall a great place with a great menu. I hope today was just an off day for the staff. My egg dish was spot on, the hash-browns were good but not hot. There was no coffee made for refill.
