Love ordering delivery from here. My favorite is the mushroom, it's literally packed with mushrooms, and super flavorful, like a gourmet style mushroom pizza. The acorn squash pizza, and sausage pizza are also very good. The roasted cauliflower is so good, but not always available. Caesar salad is solid. Sometimes the crust is not always consistent, that would be the only negative I can think of. Otherwise, I'd recommend trying this place, especially for the mushroom pizza. read more

I'm not usually big on vegetarian options, but the sweet and savory combo with the thin crunchy crust was amazing. I also tried the mushroom, bolognese, and sausage pizzas. The bolognese and the acorn squash are both must-try items in my opinion, and a runner up would be the mushroom option. Parking is tough since it's all street parking on a busy street, and seating is pretty limited with just a few tables inside and outside. Decided to try this location since I was craving a slice of their acorn squash. Located farther east on Sunset, you're heading in the direction of DTLA, but if you find a spot right outside as I did, be very careful. There is a curve that some cars tend to take rather quick, and pulling out of your spot can be challenging. Enough about the parking and traffic, as expected, the slice was delicious, the watermelon lemonade was also refreshing, and I am a proud, full-fledged fan of Triple Beam. I hope they expand (but not too much) to other locations that are more accessible such as Studio City, Encino, even Hollywood, etc...but for now, the drive to find one is worth it since the pizza is so good. STEPH JUDGEMENT: Good, convenient pizza next to the Echo. It had been so long since our last Echo show we didn't realize that Two Boots Pizza was no more! But Triple Beam seems to fill those empty boot spaces quite nicely. The hubby and I needed a snack before our show, so we got a cheese slice to share. One order was two small square pieces, which made for a fine snack. We liked the crunchy crust and amount of cheese, but thought the sauce was a tad bland. Not a dealbreaker, though. I really really liked this place the first time my aunt took me there. We went again today and I'm really disappointed. The crust was thick and fluffy the first time and now it's cracker thin. There aren't as many pepperonis as there were last time. And the cheese has no pull cause there is so little. It was either super rushed or they are cutting back to save money. Checked out this pizza place in Echo Park for some stuff made fresh. It was good enough to make our mouths do gymnastics. Triple Beam Pizza is one of the hipster spots in these parts. Good prices for a good amount. There's even a few vegan ones among these. Basically this is mostly a takeout place but you can eat on the porch they got. It's got already made pizzas or you can order a new one. There's not that long of a wait. Also they have beer. It's $6 for a can of craft brewery stuff. About the only complaint for here. The pizza is priced much better though. It's $7 for a quarter of a pizza, but it's still a pretty big portion to be honest. The Vegan Formaggio is made with extra virgin olive oil, maldon salt, marinara, and vegan mozzarella. Even stretched like the real cheese. This was some good ass stuff. Have to say it's one of the many pizza places around here but it seems to be the best. It's an opinion that's shared by many it seems because this place can get crowded. It is a small place on Sunset Boulevard in Siver Lake. There are several chain restaurants around LA. The menu is quite simple, pizza, salads, some side dishes, and beers. Their pizza is thin, crunchy , and square pizza with various toppings. The full size is about 12x10 inches, cut into 12 slides. - roasted mushroom and shallots, with mozzarella back truffle cheese and thyme ($26 for full size): savory, earthy but not overwhelmed hint of truffle - Acorn squash ($26 full size): thin slide of acorn squash with mozzarella cheese, honey crushed red pepper. Sweet and spicy. - pinnacle, prosciutto, and jalapenos ($33 full size): spicy, sweet, and salty with crunchy thin slide crust. We also had green bean and spinach salad, which is very fresh and savory. The green bean was slightly roasted, crunchy, mixed with fresh spinach, garlic toasted hazelnuts, shallots, well balanced with champagne vinaigrette. I did not taste the champagne but the vinaigrette is well balanced, not to sour or sweet. One order of salad is about $10. We ordered 3 full size pizza and 3 salads, served more than 10 adults with some leftovers. Everyone is full and happy. read more

I am big pizza snob, and there's a kind of pizza that I call "kids birthday party pizza". You eat it because it's there, and you can't go wrong with those three ingredients, dough, cheese and sauce, no matter how uninspired it is. This is triple beam pizza to me. I had the Margherita. Sauce was way too sweet with no tang, the crust has no integrity, and the cheese tastes like polly-o mozzarella. There are way better pizzerias in Los Angeles, like Joe's. read more
