It's hard to not love any pizza. I get lucifers every so often and I am always pleased. I try not to give Charlotte anything that has sausage or bacon in it because that would be weird... But it happens and she loves the pizza too. Crust is great. Cheese is good (though I prefer extra cheese on everything). If you have a pig - it's better to make a pizza soup (just soak your left-over crusts in a broth base and be sure to pick out the sausages) because it can last for three days instead of just one meal. As lame as this sounds, I enjoy looking at the pizza box art. It's good and unique. I actually get mad when I order pizza and they use the same box as another company. I also get mad when I am eating pizza and I bite my cheek. It's as if my mouth is doing it on purpose, against my will. If I don't get pepperoni- I get the hot chick or the three little pigs. I ordered the vegetarian pizza from Lucifer's because, you know, vegetables are usually included in something labeled "vegetarian." Apparently, Lucifer's took that as more of a loose suggestion. My pizza arrived with green peppers that looked like someone got tired halfway through slicing and just shaved off a couple of limp, stringy confetti pieces. Truly inspirational work. Their slogan says they've been "providing pleasure since 2008." I'm assuming they meant emotional pleasure from comedy, because this pizza was a joke. If you're vegetarian and excited to see actual vegetables, prepare to be spiritually disappointed. I've seen more toppings on a Lunchables. Honestly, I respect the boldness. It takes confidence to put that many vegetables on a pizza and still call it "vegetarian." My son and I were in town for a trip to Universal and lucklley came upon Lucifers. It's hard to please my 9 year old and I'm very particular but the pizza was amazing!!!! This is the worst pizza I have ever had. Extremely salty, it's not just a personal presence; the kind of saltiness that makes your throat and stomach feel really weird. I ordered it for a group of 5 people, and none of us could ingest the pizza. My stomach is making this weird noise as I write this review. I have never been this dramatic about food. Usually I would leave unwanted food on a table, someone in the house would eat it eventually. The pizzas were so salty and nasty that they are hazardous, they can potentially trigger heart complications. I wish I could get a refund but I ordered it on postmates. Last night we ordered pizza from Lucifer's. We've done it a few times and it's been pretty good but this last order was awful. The pizzas were individual 10 inch ring burner and traditional one was undercooked (doughy!) and both pizzas were delivered cold. Whoever prepared them did it with such a disregard you could tell. No pizza liner in the box Sloppy presentation, sloppycutting, over sauced undercooked. The entire experience was awful and I can't imagine that we will ever order again from that place. I may have felt differently about this experience if it had not been through GrubHub which made the pizza more expensive and also, arrive cold. Yes, cold. Ok luke cold. My other problem with this pizza was that they seem to charge an $8.00 markup for pepperoni, but my gluten free ten inch pizza had one slice without any pepperoni on it at all and a few slices with only ONE pepperoni. Only one slice of pizza had three pepperoni pieces on it which meant each bite gave pepperoni thus befitting the name a pepperoni pizza. This seemed like a waste of money. The gluten free crust was thin and basic like all other frozen crusts and nothing to write home about. The cheese, since it was cold didn't pull out from the slice since it was no longer melted. The sauce was a little too tangy for my taste and the pizza needed salt. (BTW, Dominos has better gluten free pizza, if that's any indication of what this experience was like.) For what I spent, I'll keep looking. It's annoying when places use basic frozen gluten free crusts. There's a few pizza places that make their own doughy gluten free crusts. I'll stick with them. Just because gluten makes us sick doesn't mean we don't want things that taste good! I appreciate the accommodation but for the extra charge they could at least step it up a notch in flavor. I thought the name Lucifer's pizza was just in reference to the spice they used on their pizza's, when in reality it was a reference to what it was like eating at their establishment, which was hell. I ordered pizza through Postmates from Childrens hospital. My son just had a transplant and he has food restrictions. He can only eat food that is freshly made. If it sits out for an hour he can not have it do to bacteria. He is severely immune compromised. The pizza came with uneven pizza slices. It is very clear these were left over slices out back together in the box. The tomatoes did not align on the edges of the slices. I called the restaurant and the person that took the call was very rude and didn't even apologize or deny the issue. After an afternoon at Griffith Park, a pizza sounded like a great snack. I had been wanting to try Lucifers and I wish I had tried them sooner! Spice can be added to the crust to increase the heat level but the crust alone is very good. Just the right amount of chew and crisp. Toppings do not overwhelm and are very tasty.
