I've been a repeat customer, but the second there's a problem with something you find out how bad the company is. They do not care about their customers at all. Size was extremely small compared to what my daughter would wear from literally any other company on a holiday dress. They required me to pay $15 to exchange it! I received the item and the quality of the zipper and cheap fabric were terrible! The zipper barely worked and the fabric was already fraying around the area of a zipper. The dress was also way too large for a child's size 8. When returning it, they are charging $19.99 against my refund to return it. Customer service is rude, unprofessional, and unresponsive. I placed an order and did not receive one of the two dresses I bought, despite the fact the packing slip indicated that both dresses were in the same package. I reached out to customer service, hoping that they would be apologetic and work to get me the dress that they'd forgotten to include in the box as soon as possible. Reagan the customer service rep did not even apologize when I explained what occurred. I then had to write several times in order to get a reply. I then asked her how long it would take to receive the item I was charged for that was not included in the package (despite the packing slip indicating it was included) and she wouldn't reply. I ultimately reached back out after several days of no response and just said to refund me for the dress that hadn't been delivered because I had zero confidence that I would ever receive it. I ordered a dress for a first communion, it looked beautiful on the website, but I what I received was embarrassing. I paid too much for what I got, not just dad, but the dress was poorly finished, came with some defects and wholes in it, sleeves uneven, really bad quality. I asked for a replacement and apparently they didn't had anymore in stock and no estimate date when they will get more. They offered a credit in store, but I decided for a full refund. They only refunded the value of rhe dress, forget about shipping or taxes. Its so sad that they promote those beautiful pieces and sell garbage items. I would leave a negative star review if possible. I ordered a costume dress for my granddaughter and she didn't like it. I returned it and received a confirmation that they received my return on June 7. They didn't refund me until October 24 - they had my money for almost 5 months and then charged me a $14.99 return fee?! That's awful. Absolutely ridiculous. I ordered one child-size dress and paid $14.99 for delivery, so I paid $30 in shipping fees for an item I didn't keep. Another poor review. Used the size chart as a guide and my son who is 2. His costume was a good 2 inches too long on the sleeve and pants. When I explained the situation to Caren on online chat she recommended I email so I received 2 generic responses. Morgan sent the same copy and paste email about their return policy when I clearly stated that I wanted an exchange. The irony is after going back to the page I realized that size 2 is the smallest size they offer and had they even spent some time on this that would have been the end of that. Instead they say, yep pay 12 for original shipping charge, then 15 for a restocking fee and an additional 12 to get a different sized costume. I wish I had read the reviews on here, BBB, and Trust Pilot before I had order my twins' first communion outfits from here. This is the worst costumer service I have ever encountered. They give you the runaround in emails, delete your comments and block you from posting on Facebook, and then have the gall to call you the liar on Facebook. I bought a dress, a headband, and a boy's suit two months ago on 1/29/21. My twins first communion in is April. I was told that the headband was out of stock, and a substitute headband was going to be shipped out via Fed Ex express on 2/25/21. I was not given a tracking order or a status on the other parts of my order. To this date, I have not received the headband. When I asked about my order on 3/16/21, I was only told that the Gwendolyn dress was on backorder, and nothing about the headband or suit. I was told that the dress was probably going to be shipped out sometime after 3/18/21, and again, never received a tracking number or status on the other parts of this order. I went on their Facebook page, and posted about my situation. They deleted my comment, accused me of lying (because my screen name is my maiden name, and I used my married name to make the order), and blocked me from responding. When you go on their page, you can see that they have deleted comments so that only "relevant" comments are visible. Other reviews have mentioned that they have deleted negative or critical comments or comments just asking the status of their orders. Who does that? And do you want to do business with someone who does that? I have so many words for this company, but I just want my money back. read more

My experience mirrors that of the other reviewers. We purchased the mermaid dress for my three year old's Halloween costume. I ordered the dress early to ensure delivery before Halloween. When the dress arrived, it was smashed into a small plastic bag. This is disappointing as the fabric is wrinkled. I hung the dress, and after some time, it did smooth out. I noticed, upon receipt, that the garment has many loose threads hanging from seams. For a dress marketed as higher quality, this is concerning. I complained via the "rate your experience" email that I received, but no one ever responded. Fast forward to Halloween. These loose threads made it nearly impossible to zip up the dress. The gloves split at the seams within an hour of wear (and this is with limited use of hands- my daughter was mostly seated for this hour). I contacted customer service to complain about the quality. I received a response from "Rency", essentially stating that the refund period had passed and they could do "nothing" for me. I did not expressly ask for a refund- a heartfelt, customer focused response addressing the poor quality would have gone a long way to show any sort of concern for customer retention. Don't waste your money- the photos of the products are deceiving of materials even worse than chain store dresses. read more

Oh my gosh, the things I could say about this company. I would like to ream them every which way from Sunday. First off, shipping is forever long. Secondly, customer service is atrocious. Thirdly, the return policy is horrible. You can only get a refund on your first purchase and they take $10 off of the refund price for a $10 restocking fee. If you buy something later and you need to return again, you're only option is in store credit plus you lose $10 because of restocking fee for these cheap ass dresses, that I'm sorry, cannot be that hard. But honestly, the quality is problematic. Yes the dresses look super fancy, but they are not functional. If you are looking For a dress up dress for 3, 4 , 5 or 6-year-old, This is not the place. The neck lines do not stretch. Oh my gosh, why? You are making clothes that should be easy to get on and off a kid. Secondly, the sizes are tight. I have a 2 1/2 year-old, I bought her the 3T and there's no way she's gonna be able to wear this for a year. Better, kid-friendly fabrics would make the price of this product easier to swallow. We have ordered dresses from this company for our daughters' school events and recitals, never requiring a return. I have recommended this company as a result of my experiences purchasing dresses and not requiring any further service. Due to these very basic orders, I continued to purchase from Trish Scully by buying my eldest daughter's communion dress from there. Having read the notice from Trish Scully that this particular dress we were interested in purchasing could take 4-6 weeks to ship to us, we purchased it a month and a half before the communion. We checked the size chart to make sure it was the appropriate size for our daughter, and placed the order. We tried it on our daughter a couple weeks before her May communion and noticed that it was a little large. The next weekend, when we finally had a free moment, we took it to the seamstress to see what could be done. Given the material and design of the dress, she said, we could not make the alterations necessary to make the dress fit my daughter appropriately. Because of this, I ended up rushing an order from Trish Scully for the same dress in the smaller size. I am a mother and educator working during the pandemic and was lucky enough to have had a moment to figure this all out before her communion. May and a couple weeks of June passed before my school year ended and, immediately, I emailed Trish Scully to let them know that I had the dress, unworn and still with its tags and original packaging, and that I wanted to know how I might return it. I was told that I could not, given that the return policy was 15 days. I explained that the sizing was off; I even purchased and rushed a smaller-sized one from their same store. I reminded them that we were still in the middle of a pandemic and that we were so busy; but that I understood and would take store credit, especially because my youngest daughter will have her first recital and communion next year. I also mentioned that the only reason I ordered so early was because of the potential 4-6 week delay in arrival date. We exchanged emails and the store said they would not complete any kind of return, regardless of anything I said. This store may try to tout a luxury product and experience, but their customer service is anything but that. Despite being a loyal customer, the fact that I had bought the same dress from them, that this was an insanely busy year to be a parent and educator, and that they are STILL selling the SAME dress AND I had our first dress in completely perfect shape and untouched, they would not work with me - not even for store credit. Beware of this company, especially if you may need any type of return. It's obviously ok for them to not send a dress for potentially a month and a half, but you will only be offered a strict 15-day return policy. (Even though they said, if you had tried to return it in March - when we ordered it - or April - before her even in May - they would have allowed for a return. I purchased this dress in a size 10 but really it was more like a 12... The shoulders and chest area were huge so much so that it would not stay up. Also, return policy is store credit only minus a $9 restocking fee and return shipping is on you. Better to buy Trish Scully dresses from Zulily ... I do not recommend this company. I ordered my daughter's 1st communion dress in a size 7 based on the measurements listed online. It was a beautiful dress; however, it was too small on her. I reached out to do an exchange for a size 8 in the same dress. They told me that they only do returns and will offer a store credit upon receipt minus a restocking fee plus the consumer has to pay return shipping. To my dismay, I returned the dress knowing the size 8 was in stock. When I received the return confirmation, I went to place the order and the size 8 is now out of stock. The company will not refund my money and they don't know when they will receive more stock. Trish Scully needs to get with the times and update their policies. I usually rave about the dresses from trish scully and would give 5 stars the dress is adorable but I ordered a cruella dress for my daughter in September and wore this dress a total of 2 times and the strap ripped. It didn't even last for Halloween. I even kept it in my closet in between the times she wore it and kept it from her so it would last. It was super disappointing and left a hole in the side. I had to shove the strap from the other side in the side with a hole so it wouldn't dangle while she trick or treated. then they wouldn't send me a new one because they said it was past the return date even though she didn't even wear it because I bought it early so she would have it before Halloween. I ordered a costume dress, tiara, and scepter for my granddaughter's 4th birthday. The items were shipped via FedEx in a timely manner. But, the package got lost or waylaid at the FedEx warehouse. Needless to say, the package did not arrive in time for my granddaughter's birthday. (Try explaining that to a 4 year old.) I contacted the customer support team at Trish Scully and asked them to follow up with FedEx. Their response was to place another order. I did that and asked them to overnight the merchandise at their cost. They did not. A couple of days later, I received an email stating they had sent another order to replace the lost order. Then a few hours later, I got another email asking me if I wanted them to send another order. (Sounds like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.) I finally asked for a refund and cancellation of the order. I placed an order on Amazon for similar items at half the cost, which will be here this week. I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service at Trish Scully. My impression is they would rather give refunds than good customer service. read more

Very Very BAD customer service! When you order something and you paid for it you would think that they would be in contact with you but that's not the case with this company, and you cant call them everything has to be done thru email so I emailed them to check on the status of the dress that I ordered and they said that it did not come in, but because the dresses comes from another country I get it when they say they didn't receive the dress that I order and have no ETA on when its going to come in, I needed this dress for my grand daughter birthday, so I upgraded to another dress, and pay the difference and I was told that they have that dress in stock and was waiting for payment confirmation before they can send it out. So payment was made, but they claim that they never got it, But here's the strange thing, they sent me a paid in full confirmation email 2 days after I made the payment, but they still told me that they never receive payment. So when they got the 1st gown I ordered in they sent it out instead and told me that they never received the upgrade payment which by they was made 7 days before the 1st dress came in. I did checked with my bank and it showed that TRISH SCULLY received the upgraded payment. They are still claiming that they did not receive the payment. So if you order something from this company please beware. Very shady! read more

I was never sent the order and was never notified at all that there was any issue with my order. There were two parts to the order and one was out of stock and the other was not. They sent me neither and never notified me. I was left with two days to find my daughter's costume when I thought I was done with it way in advance. On October 17th I received an email that both dresses had been delivered but upon opening the package the Alice dress was missing. On October 20th I sent an email and spoke to the chat feature online indicating the zipper on the Queen of Hearts dress was broken and that the Alice dress had not arrived with the package. They indicated they would immediately send out replacement items. On October 26th I had not received the items so I reached out on their chat. They told me they could do two day shipping so the item could arrive on Friday. They also indicated the Small Alice dress was out of stock and asked if I would take an XS, I agreed. We requested overnight, in order to attend a Halloween party dressed up in our costumes, and the girl said we would need to send an email to make the request but they don't ship over night. I sent an email at 11:53am MST on Oct 27th with the order number as the email subject. We received an email back 2 days later on October 29th asking for our order number in order to help with our request. We received an email indicating the item had been shipped on October 28th and they tracking number was available on the 29th with an expected arrival of November 1st. This entire experience has been very sad to me because we tried so hard to work with them to get the correct items on time. Their responses were always very short, lacked any empathy, and ultimately didn't resolve our issue.
