I would be prepared for a wait here (probably 20-30 minutes on average). Also, be warned that they may run out of specific types of meat if you arrive closer to closing. They were running low on roast beef by the time we made it to the front of the line. Once we made it to the front everything moved pretty smoothly. My group ordered two 49ers and an order of waffle fries. Our food took about 10 minutes to come out. Now the sandwich itself... was excellent. Definitely worth the hype. Juicy, flavorful brisket and corned beef with cherry peppers to add a nice lil kick. The sandwich was stuffed with meat and toppings and quite filling. I also appreciated how they went with a standard French roll instead of the Dutch crunch you'd typically see at a sandwich shop. I think the bread selection allowed the meat to stand out. Overall, Deli Board gets top marks for their sandwiches. I would definitely like to return to try more of their offerings.

But when you want a sandwich that only tastes like its ingredients, Irving Subs is the spot. Their Dutch crunch is famous for being fresh and actually crunchy. Their lettuce is shredded but fresh and crispy. The salt content is just enough to bring out the flavors. And the overall composition of their sandwiches are very well proportioned. You're not getting skimped, but you're also not biting into a mouthful of a packet of deli meat. They definitely know what they are doing. Service is good and ambiance is a small humble shop on the corner of 12th Ave.

Mr.Happy is my favorite thus far. It's packed with fresh ingredients and enough to feed one hungry Mr or Mrs. You'll sure be happy after this meal. I brought my own, and they crafted a custom sandwich for me with a smile. My friend had the Reuben with just mustard and mayo, and he said it was perfect a great picnic lunch by the waterfront. The guys there are so sweet, funny, and have top-notch service. Plus, some of them are pretty cute! They were also super patient helping three little old ladies before us, so kind. And their tip jar was full of money so you can see how excellent their service is. Make sure to TIP They deserve it! I'll definitely be coming back! 5 STARS!!

After eating half (they are two meals in size), we started to talk about our day. Interestingly, our conversation drifted into psychological subjects, shared emotions, and early life experiences. We became quite emotional and excited and had one of the most wonderful evenings of sharing. The experience was so great that, at one point we stopped and simultaneously together said, "It was those damned good sandwiches!!!"
