I love this place, the staff and Dr. Trosien. I have dental phobia and Dr. T was right, he would change that and he has. It's a fun and friendly environment, knowledgeable staff and everyone is so caring and gentle. Both my daughter and I have braces, she's 8 and I'm 41. We are in process of bringing my adult canine tooth down after having oral surgery with Dr. George (not part of Trosien Orthodontics) to remove my baby tooth. Slow and steady wins the race and we're almost there. I think we're all going to have a party when this tooth finally comes through! So long story short our two sons started with braces with a "top rated" Ortho in Atlanta. They started having problems immediately. Luckily when we moved here we found Dr Trosien. He was very diplomatic but clearly he had to basically re- do the botched work and start over. What a difference! No problems. Awesome office staff. Ortho visit at Dr. Trosien. Super efficient, super fast, and super good. Painless in every way! Certainly not inexpensive, but I do appreciate that you are not forgotten as soon as you are done with treatment (and payment!), but they maintain a follow up every 6 months. Last week, I had my 2-month check-in for my Invisalign at Dr. Trosien's office. I was seen in a timely manner as usual and the staff was quick to assist me for my appointment. I have only had my Invisalign on for 6 months and have been very pleased! Dr. Trosien saw me after the assistant and he is very easy to talk to and ask questions. I usually have a lot of them to. I have never been more frustrated with my teeth before. I believe this ortho knows what he is doing but the experience I have has been awful. The people that work in the office from the front desk to the back are not friendly and "know" you by name like some of the reviews I have read. Most of the care I have recieved here they just get right into your mouth and do whatever they want without first explaining what they are doing as they are spewing their dental jargon to one another. I am still getting treatment for my braces and have no choice because I have already paid completely. This place is awful. read more

Before a patient actually commits to a contract for treatment, Dr. Trosien and his staff make it a point to be attentive and understanding of the patient's needs and say all the right things to convince you to choose treatment with them. However, once they sign you up and you're stuck with an overpriced treatment plan, everything changes. His front desk girls become rude and the "flexible scheduling" and ability to "work around" the patient's schedule goes down the drain. Katalina and Julie are worse than salesmen at the car dealerships as they simply care about selfishly making a sale and then blindsiding you with frivolous fees. This place is not about patient care, it's a business that only cares about making maximum capital. I understand it is normal for assistants to do the majority of the basic procedures, but Dr. Trosien literally does not give his patients more than 1 minute of his time and is focused on seeing as many patients as he can per appointment...to him quantity takes precedence over quality. My warning to potential treatment seekers, DO NOT make the same mistake as I did for trusting that my son will get the high quality treatment that I paid for and was promised by Dr. Trosien and staff. There are plenty of other places that charge a lot less and can do comparable or superior work. read more
