I had the green 2 juice and a shot because I am trying to get over a cold so I needed something to help with that. So happy I came because it has made me feel 10 times better. The juice was very fresh and tasty. They also have salads and paninis which looked very good but because of my cold I only had the juices. I love the feel of the place when you walk in. It's cozy, feels like something you would find in the heights. I tried the pink pearl. It was actually pretty good and super filling. I have absolutely no complaints about my drink. I would just say maybe get bigger straws since the granola and everything they put in the smoothie gets stuck constantly either in the straw or blocks the straw. I hate the deceptive name of "juice bar". Most of the time it understates the amazing inside. Trough has juice, for sure. But they also have fabulous waffles and avocado toast (with beet hummus that is to die for) on Saturdays. This place has that cool Austin, San Fran vibe of quirky, clean, organic, local, healthy AND delicious while remaining cool and effortless. Wonderful food and a huge choice of beverages including a golden chai with almond milk, coffees, tea, and of course light or rich juice offerings. I am not known for my appetite or being a foodie. But I had the Genesis 1:29, waffles and a veggie sandwich. Each plenty without feeling gluttonous but I was on a roll and not stopping. Fantastic find. I have been looking all over for a good juice/smoothie bar all around the area. When I finally had the chance to try this place I was in a rush and didn't really have time to browse the menu. I quickly chose the Blueberry Maca and it is amazing, no regrets! The ingredients are fresh and healthy, not even added sugars. So I will definitely go back, not only to try other menu items, but to enjoy the downtown historic location also. They offer a variety of different health conscious smoothies, juices and snacks. My friend got the strawberry banana and I got a green smoothie. Tasty food but expensive and just adequate service. I like supporting small businesses over chains. Food quality is good and my wife loves the juices. I ordered the smoke salmon which you would think would be just smoked, aka lox. However they cook the salmon through so it's misleading that it's your typical smoked salmon. I mentioned it to the staff but they just looked at me like I was crazy and said that's the way it is. They didn't bother to ask me if I wanted something else or to redo it, especially since I walked out paying $45 for juice, a salad and sandwich. read more

WOW. This place really is superb! Be prepared for the sticker shock for high quality food, but once you get over it, u'll find yourself smiling with every bite. Dragon fruit bowl (basically a smoothie u eat with a spoon) was soooooooo addictive. My husband really enjoyed the avocado English muffin. Not big portions, but really satisfying in texture, color, and flavor.... Super sweet service and super cute decor!! They have powdered soap in the bathroom!!!!! Awesome grilled cheese and fruit. Grapefruit juice and mint is a def plus. Only issue is that it was a bit pricey.

My daughter recently starting working at this little jewel of a place! I had my first taste of the organic cold pressed juices this morning and I was quite surprised and pleased at the phenomenal taste of the "Ruby Red"! I am in L.O.V.E. with the fresh almond milk and the Thai chopped salad was amazing! The freshness and feeling of well being after consuming these beautifully hand prepared items is simply wonderful. Interesting establishment! As expected, your options here are going to be healthy and/or juicy. I came here after a midday yoga sesh and felt like I should really fulfill my yoga-pants-wearing yuppie image. A salmon sandwich was pretty good, though very simple. Some sort of beet juice concoction was nice but, uhh, I can't say it was worth the $8+. I guess I'm not yuppie enough, but don't tell anyone, or I'll have my Fort Bend card revoked! read more

Very cute place, and just as expected from other reviews when it came to a relaxing atmosphere. I ran in to get some juices and while the choices were great, it's really pricey. Most juices were already available in their cooler, so I just opted for five different kinds. The bottles were glass, labeled well, and still, I couldn't get over the price for what it was. Yes, healthy and fresh and all, but I should have gone with the smoothies to make it worth it. Didn't get to try their food, so maybe I will revisit the review in the future. I'm really impressed by this place! The decor, ambiance, and quality of food exceeded my expectations. I tasted both the blueberry Macca and the ruby red. Both were delish. Better than Jamba Juice and smoothie king, in my opinion. I also tried the smoked salmon sandwich, which came with a side of quinoa. The sandwich was like a nova lox. Great flavor. Wild caught salmon too! Considering the the quality of food, taste-wise and health wise, $8.50 per sandwich and smoothie felt reasonable to me. I have eaten here a number of times and have never been disappointed. I've heard a few people say it's pricey but they have to understand that organic food is expensive for them to purchase also. Had a great lunch here!!! Enjoyed the atmosphere, service and fresh ingredients. Ordered the Chipotle Cobb Salad. It was fresh, crisp and delicious. The 1/2 avocado was perfectly paired with sunflower seeds, croutons, boiled egg, cherry tomatoes, crumbled cheese, kale, romaine, chives and chipotle dressing. Everything we got was absolutely wonderful. The Derby Mint was a light and so tasty smoothie. The Blueberry Maca was so smooth and was a blueberry bomb in your mouth. We also had the Avocado English Muffin and the Smoked Salmon, can't really form words, I'm still licking my lips :). The added plus of course is the quality of the ingredient.
