Gyros omelette was so so but those "Well done" "crispy please" hash browns were a major FAIL.

I can't believe it's been 8 years since I was last here. Today I was craving Greek food & I was in the area. The food is absolutely delicious. Idk why I was here for breakfast last time but today was a lunch and it was fantastic. The service is impeccable. The restaurant is designed like a Greek cafe. Sizable booths and stand alone tables. I am so glad I returned.

Troy's is a classic, old-school Greek atery that always satisfies. I have been going there for years and the food is consistent and prices for 2025 are a steal! We caught their happy hour (sorry, no pic of exact details but most of their beer and wine are $5 and can be enjoyed at your table -- maybe 5-7pm daily). They have some interesting Greek selections I have never seen before. We ordered the saginaki, served flaming hot, with triangles of warm pita. For dinner, my friend had the beef kabobs and I had the gyro and beef kabobs combo. The entrees come with soup or salad. Their salads are delightful with a tangy dressing and creamy bits of feta. The portions are generous and we had leftovers. The service is warm and friendly. No one rushed us or pressured us into ordering more. My one complaint is the parking since it is off Mission Gorge and the lot has a lot of other businesses. They have a great AYCE brunch that I haven't tried, but heard is fantastic.

Pretty good! Overall felt the food was pretty standard for this type of restaurant, good for the price, although not super wowed. The village salad was nice, added chicken and it came with a decent amount - will say the chicken was pretty dry. The beef and chicken kebab plate was also pretty good - again super standard. It came with a few cooked carrot slices, would've appreciated more veggies. The mahi was pretty plain but not bad.

We were staying in the area and saw that this place had a Sunday buffet brunch so we gave it a try. We didn't make a reservation at 11:00am but there was plenty of seating. The server was very nice and checked up on us frequently. She told us about the Avgolemono Soup from the kitchen and we asked for a bowl. It was our first time having it and we enjoyed it. It's like a lemon and chicken broth porridge which I enjoyed with the meats from the buffet. I really liked the salad, stewed pork? (super tender), and the gyro. Unfortunately, the chicken drumsticks were dry and the spanakopitas were not crispy. They also had some breakfast items like eggs, sausage, and potatoes but I didn't try that. The moussaka was just okay. I liked the Baklava for dessert and I tried the Galaktoboureko but it was missing some crispy texture. Overall, there were some solid dishes but the service was what really stood out so I would come back!

A friend recommended Troy's. She even knew our server, Victor, by name. The first thing that caught our attention was the tasteful decor. Next, was the pleasant staff. Sure enough, Victor was both our greeter and our server. The meal was delicious. We each ordered a lunch special that turned out to be shareable portion sizes. And, very tasty. We will return.

Food was great, fresh made salads and soups. Friendly and attentive staff. Interior is clean although a bit dated. Generous portion size. We will come again!

My family and I had dinner together here last evening. The food was perfect, very delicious. I enjoyed the Gyro platter with a great Greek salad. The service was outstanding. We did not have to wait for refills our waiter was right on time for everything. This was a beautiful experience. Thank you Troy's for an outstanding experience.

Had a lovely lunch at Troy's. Sat outside on a gorgeous fall day and enjoyed visiting with family. We had a lunch gyros special which was a perfect portion and Moussaka which came with a salad which I shared with my mother. The moussaka is a Greek casserole with ground beef (nicely seasoned with a bit of gravy) layered with sliced potatoes, grilled egg plant snd topped with bechamel sauce. The restaurant was really busy as it was lunchtime and the wait staff still managed to serve us promptly.

I was craving Greek cuisine and opted for Troy's Greek restaurant. I ordered the beef souvlaki platter. My platter came with two marinated beef skewers charbroiled, skewers had onions and bell peppers. My sides were the rice pilaf and pita bread with tzatziki sauce. I also ordered a side of grilled onions. Their Greek salad was fresh and salad dressing was good. The beef skewers were tender; I did not like that they charbroiled my skewers a bit too long. Some pieces tasted burnt. Very small portion of rice was in my platter. Other than that; decent meal. I would rate 7 out of 10 for the platter. The tzatziki sauce was great, it had a good consistency and flavor. Pita bread was fresh and fluffy. Grilled onions were my favorite; I wished portion was more.

Troy's Greek Restaurant is located in the same strip mall as Einstein Bagel's and Denny's if this helps location wise. It's easy to miss because it's tucked in a corner of the very busy area. But don't be fooled. This restaurant can stand on its own. The pleasant greeting from the entrance was warm and inviting. Even with their special Sunday Brunch, we were able to get seated right away and by the food! Our waitress was taking orders for our drinks even before we were able to get food! They carry Pepsi products as well as juices and coffee. And if you really want to, you can enjoy some adult beverages! They have as special menu for those options. They had their popular Greek cuisine, as well as more tradition American breakfast items like french toast, eggs, bacon, and sausage. All their food was fresh, properly labeled for people who weren't familiar with Greek food. The staff made sure each chaffing dish was always full. As we enjoyed our delicious food, our waitress asked if we were interested in having Greek Lemon Chicken soup. I didn't have any but someone in our group had it and she was so happy she did. Our waitress also never kept our glass empty. She was so attentive and friendly. I checked out their desserts. I only had fruit which was perfect! So sweet! Otherwise, I would have dug into those treats! They all looked so fresh and yummy! You pay at the table, but there was no rush! I stopped at the restroom and it was clean and they have a restroom for men and women. Give this place a try! I started talking to a customer who has visited Troy's over 15 times! If that doesn't get you in, the friendly atmosphere and attention will make you feel like family!

I was there about 1245 on a Monday and there were a few people there and they had some takeout orders so my order took about 10 minutes before I could walk out the door with it. They had a nice condiment bar where you could pick out some yogurt with dill sauce and then they're famous garlic yogurt sauce, as well as a jalapeño sauce And another spicy hot one that I would never try. When I got back to the jury room to eat my meal, I saw that there was a nice quantity of the fresh salad and the grilled vegetables but the meat was piled high! I ordered the falafels, spinach fatayer, and a chicken shawarma pizza. The falafels were crispy and fresh, exactly what you want in a falafel. The spinach fatayer was hot, perfectly baked, and huge. The chicken shawarma pizza stole the show out of the appetizers. It had so much flavor, and the cheese was amazing. That cheese stretched like it was in a commercial. I wish I had ordered two! For my entrées, I ordered the lamb and chicken kabobs with a side of fries. This plate was unbelievably tender. The center of the lamb was perfectly cooked with a beautiful pink center, and I love a hot pink center. Makes my mouth water. The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the rice. The fries were great, too. I also ordered the chicken shawarma plate and the chicken kabob wrap. The shawarma plate was packed with flavor, and the seasoning was spot on. The rice was cooked to perfection. The wrap was so thick, I wanted to slap it like a big ol' booty. Lastly, the garlic sauce was the real MVP.
