I had high hopes for this practice after reading the reviews and taking my dogs here for several months. After a routine exam, they advised me that my otherwise healthy 5-year-old dog needed a dental and gave me an estimate of around $900. The day of my dental, the vet called me and told me that my dog needed $3500 worth of dental work. I was shocked by the cost difference but I of course wanted my dog to have the best possible care, so I agreed. After his surgery, they told me to contact them immediately if I had any concerns. I felt reassured and supported, but it turns out that their concerns were merely performative. In the days following his surgery, my once vibrant and energetic dog was not himself. I understand that recovery takes time, but after a few days of observing some concerning symptoms (including blood in his stool), I made a follow up call to the vet. They blew off my concerns, but when I persisted, agreed to see him for a follow-up visit that would (surprise!) cost an undetermined amount of money. I'm now out $3500 and have a lethargic five-year-old dog. I couldn't even get a vet on the phone to listen to my concerns (despite one being available when I called), and they have demonstrated that they don't care about anything except taking more money from me. This is concerning, to say the least. I would expect this kind of behavior from a private equity-owned veterinary practice, but not from an independently owned office. Lesson learned: When you pay more for services, you don't necessarily get better care (or more caring, compassionate, and concerned practitioners) in return. I will be taking my business elsewhere, and you may want to consider that as well. read more

We cannot say enough about the incredible care our big lug of a Golden Retriever receives with Dr. Dietrich's clinic! What is unique compared to other vet's we've used is the ease of communicating with the front staff. As a busy, working mom it's so nice to be able to shoot a text over to initiate a refill or to reschedule an appt. Also the online booking for appointments is so convenient! I cannot recommend this clinic enough. I have two dogs and have seen both Dr.Cito and Dr. Dietrich on multiple occasions. Vet techs are always very helpful and up front about costs and steps they will take. Not only do they calm the owner, but the pets as well. They have calming music playing in the lobby and always take their time with pets. One of my pups has severe anxiety and just shakes and cries at the vet, but the staff does an amazing job at making her feel as comfortable as possible. With the other (pictured) they are always so excited to see her and match her energy when we come in. Even after your visit, they text to ask how the pet is doing and they are always very helpful with phone questions as well. We love truBOND! Came here for a rabies shot for a family dog (Siberian husky) and it was a really good experience. I don't normally write reviews but I thought it deserved one. I've never had a permanent vet until now. I went in on a Tuesday at noon and my dog has always had high anxiety and is very loud and just have never liked the vet but as soon as the doctor came in he was very nice and respectful and was explaining everything and explaining how to be around dogs that are like mine and my dog eventually warmed up to him which was surprising. It's like he put a spell on my dog lol in a good way. They were constantly talking in an enthusiastic way to him and the staff never got discouraged or stressed or rushed anything. They stayed optimistic and their positive energy never wavered which was so nice to see. We eventually came up with a solution to do a "ninja" technique for the doctor to use to give our dog the shot he needed and it worked and then after our dog got the injection, he gained his trust back once again after the shot and doing tricks with him with treats etc... we left with a great game plan created by the doctor on how to adjust things with our dog in a positive way going forward and we left with no concerns and all our questions and concerns resolved. I was hesitant to use this location, just because of the area it's in. The houses in the area are huge and I was thinking, the cost would match the income of the residents. I was wrong. The staff was incredible helpful and kind. My dog was in much needed help and they did everything they could to make her comfortable and calm. Found out she had bone cancer. Dr. Chris Dietrich gave me all the info I needed in making a decision based on what we he saw on the x ray. I called, they answered. If they didn't answer, he would call me, even after hours. He was so understanding of the situation and spoke to family members about the severity of her prognosis. The day we brought her in to be put down, they made her feel loved. They gave us time to weep and love on her. Never felt rushed. I've done this before and it felt different. Me and my son left the clinic, sad but relieved. My pocket was not empty, my mind was not second guessing about the decision and I knew we made the right decision. No second guessing. No feelings of being cheated. I got my dogs ashes back, just like they said. The facility is simple and very clean and beautiful. The staff is friendly and they love animals. Do not recommend this place. I was all for this place until I picked up my cat and wasn't given any info about how he did and the multiple charges on my card from their recommended pharmacy. Brought my cat in because he wasn't feeling too well and wasn't eating and kept throwing up. After labs came back, was told to bring my cat back in next day to get IV Fluids and they could watch him. I called around 3pm to check on my cat. Said he was just sleeping. The center called me 20 minutes before they closed to pick up. When I arrived I had asked if he had eaten today because at this point it's been 72 since I've seen him eat. I didn't get a direct answer and was basically told they think he did. I asked if they could confirm and they disappeared in the back. Employees laughing in the back as we waited. Another employee came up front and asked if we were helped. Went back to check on my cat. After receiving our cat back. He was given back to us in a soiled blanket. I honestly can't imagine what my cat was thinking after being left in a strange place. But to be left to sit in his own pee was horrible. We took our cat to another VET down the road where we were told to go to the emergency hospital. We made the tough decision to put our cat down a few days later. This experience was already down a awful path but truBOND made it so much worse. They handed our cat back and didn't even say anything about the state he was in. read more

I recently had to take my dog to the emergency vet (since of course he was sick in the middle of the night). The next day, I called truBOND to get a follow up appointment set for him, as he was still not feeling well. They got me scheduled for an appointment the same day, only a few hours after I called. When I arrived for the appointment the vet tech told me what tests they would like to run and gave me how much it would cost, and the option to opt out of anything that was mentioned if I wanted. After they took my dog back to the treatment area, Dr. Cito came in the exam room and let me know the results of the tests and how he thought we should move forward. He explained everything so well and you could tell he just had compassion. He took me back to the treatment area so I could be with my dog while he went over everything and showed me X-rays, etc. As I was leaving, my dog suddenly got worse and they rushed him back to the treatment area again. Ran a few more tests and he tested positive for giardia. I was visibly upset and the vet techs and Dr. Cito were very comforting and explained everything they were doing, again. All of this to say, the staff seemed to actually care about the well being of my dog. Which sounds like that should be a given, working at a veterinarian clinic, but I did not get that same feel from the emergency vet the night before. The whole time I was at truBOND, they were very busy, but still attentive to all of their patients. I asked one of the vet techs if she would be able to type up the discharge instructions for me so I wouldn't forget anything and she took the time to do it, even with so many other things going on. I didn't get the name of the two vet techs that helped me, but both of them were so sweet, helpful, and loved on my dog just like I would. The BEST veterinary experience I've had for our little dog (Megatron). We recently moved to Texas and needed to find a vet. Sending my dog's medical records, making his first appointment (and subsequent appts/reschedules) have been painless and satisfactory. We've had several appointments from wellness checks and vaccine renewals to grooming and even teeth cleaning. Each time, the staff has been extremely attentive and caring, they follow up and are detailed oriented. I had my Bernedoodle groomed for a third time recently, and they did a fine job as usual. Just one thing I don't like is they blocked the tip of my girl's tail.
