Read & believe the other O/O's in the reviews! Shout out to Dan and Matt in service - for completely taking advantage of me. I brought my truck in to have the bushings on my fifth wheel replaced. Instead of a straightforward job, they hit me with over $700 in labor and diagnostics. Here's the kicker: $350 of that was just for diagnosing a bad bushing. Anyone with basic mechanical knowledge knows that identifying a bad bushing takes a matter of seconds with a crowbar. It's a routine inspection, not rocket science. By the time they were done padding the bill, I was staring at a total of over $900. For what? A job that should've been half that, at most. The whole thing felt like a blatant money grab. These guys are crooks, and they clearly prey on people who trust them to do the right thing. If you're thinking of bringing your truck here, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere unless you want to get gouged. read more

And I would not hesitate to tell any driver ooohhh yes take it to Truck center in Troy Illinois miles down on 55 opposite the T.A Truck stop.. I can only give these 1 star because they bought me a hot dog. I brought my Class A in while traveling to get an oil change and 2 fuel filters. Almost 8 hours later I'm still sitting here. When I do an oil change on the same rig it takes 2 hours tops. These guys are inefficient, non communicative and really push the "get paid by the hour." They needed a filter that every good RV'r will have and instead of asking me for it they sent out for one. Go to a Speedco for a quick oil change. NEVER HERE. read more

This place is a rip off!!! We took our bus there to get the clearance lights replaced and instead of just replacing bulbs, they charged us $95 to test the circuit first. There was nothing wrong with the circuit, just burnt out bulbs. The wanted a total of $349 to replace 3 clearance lights, So I refused service and they still wanted to charge us $95 for service I did not ask for. This bus was only a few years old. I broke down in my RV while vacationing with my family and ended up at Truck Centers Inc. in Troy, IL. It is a 24 hour operation open 7 days a week which made it convenient when I broke down on a Saturday afternoon. I checked in Saturday night and was able to stay in their RV camping area. It included free 30 amp electrical hook ups and a dump station with potable water. The RV sites are set along a pond stocked with bass with a beautiful gazebo on an island in the middle. My RV was taken into the shop on Sunday morning first thing. Although my repairs were extensive and ended up taking over a week to complete, the treatment I received while I was there was above and beyond what I would ever have expected. When management at the shop found out my family of 5 were stuck there missing our vacation, they made us the number one priority in the whole shop and put their most experienced technicians on the job. They took every step they could to ensure we were comfortable and taken care of the entire time we were there. Every night they made sure my RV was drivable so it could be moved to the camping area and we could sleep in it. The lounge area was very comfortable and the free food and drinks were a life saver. Although the repair bill was expensive, they were extremely reasonable with the bill and did anything they could to save us money. When the repair became too lengthy, they helped coordinate transportation back to our home in CT where we had another RV available to finish our trip. After leaving Truck Centers Inc. with my repaired RV, I had a slight hydraulic leak. Truck Centers contacted a Freightliner repair facility in CT. They assisted with making an appointment and covered the entire bill, as they warranty all their work for one year. I was very fortunate that I found Truck Centers Inc. during my unfortunate ordeal while on vacation. Without their help, I probably would have missed the whole vacation instead of just a quarter of it. My family will be forever grateful for their extreme generosity and caring during our time of need. I would recommend Truck Centers Inc. to anybody for their knowledgeable and caring staff and for a management staff that goes above and beyond any other repair shop I have ever been to. I had the worst experience at Truck Centers Inc in Troy Illinois. They inspection my freightliner M2 and told me what the problem which was they needed to replace the SRC DECOMP and reatact it with 2 new clamps. My original quote was $1400 with parts $1100 and $300 in labor and they advised me it would be repaired the next day. Well after 9 days of nothing being done and me calling everyday inquiring about when my truck would be repaired and ready they said I needed another part because they said the first mechanic made a mistake? Now my original quote went from $1,400 and jumped up to $2,868? They said I needed a new elbow which was an additional $800 and required 5 hours to attach so they added an additional $700 in labor on top of the original $300? So after being out of service for 9 days already I again asked when will my truck be fixed and they advised me "the next day". Well after waiting another 5 days they finally repair my truck. So overall I was out of service for roughly 2 weeks and got stiffed on my repair cost. I lost all the way around and they should be ashamed of ripping off people that's trying to make a living like themselves. read more
