I had lunch here with my coworkers and it seems like our experiences were all hit or miss. I personally ordered a burrito bowl with added shrimp, the shrimp were large and fresh and the flavor overall was decent. It was good but I don't think it's anything I would go out of my way to eat again. Portion size was good and I felt full but not overly stuffed. Others said their food was either bland/dry or in the case of the mango tart it was strangely overwhelmed by lemon. Worth giving another shot but definitely not a top priority to come back and try this place soon. read more

This restaurant has a great selection for Vegan and gluten free patrons. I myself am an omnivore. Last night I ordered the tomato soup and chicken panini. The tomato soup tasted like tomato foam, I do not recommend it. The panini had little to no flavor with not much cheese. I ordered a lime spritzer and it tasted like water with a splash of lime. (Not ordering that again either.) I did order a fresh squeezed juice called "bright eyes." This was awesome and I would order this again. As well as the espresso I ordered. I've been here a few times since it opened a few months ago and the food/service has been consistently good. The atmosphere is nice and trendy. They have a QR code menu and you can pay on your phone if you chose to. The black tea is really great and my favorite dish has been the teriyaki quinoa bowl. I've had it w/ shrimp & tofu, both are solid. I've also really liked the Korean noodle bowl, chicken sausage pizza, and the grilled chicken & mozzarella panini. I didn't like the spicy panang curry and the edamame dumplings as much, they lacked the flavor profile i was looking for, but still fairly good dishes. I haven't been a huge fan of their desserts (cookies & key lime pie) but I may be bias since I found out I was allergic to cashews via their pie crust (lol not their fault). read more

Beautiful restaurant with all sorts of seating choices. Fantastic friendly and accommodating staff are there to help. I was a bit gobsmacked that a Healthy Dining Restaurant has no Alcohol Free beers of any kind, when NA microbrews are so hot right now. A few nonalcoholic teas and lemonades were available but the Beverage department is behind the curve. The seasonal Lasagna Bolognese was big on portion but bigger on SALT! Well, I was motivated to leave a review solely because the metal chairs in the interior of the dining room are NOT comfortable at all. Other people have said this, but it would help if the restaurant advised the host stand staff not to seat people there unless they are children or have very petite bodies. I saw at least 3 tables sit down and immediately request another table without those chairs. I ordered the edamame guacamole and it was outstanding. I hated to share! I ordered the spaghetti squash casserole as my entree and it was too small to be considered an entree. The tomato-based sauce was very sweet, but the mozzarella was perfect. I would not order this again. The service was perfectly polite, but was probably in the weeds all night, as we saw her rarely. All in all, I left hungry after paying a $70 tab. We had heard it opened and we were a bit ready to experience a restaurant that was having normal opening challenges and staff... but that was NOT the case!! WOW, it was phenomenal. We were seated pretty quick even though the restaurant was very busy. The two hostesses were nice. It was a bit loud, but I suppose that would be expected due to the size of the restaurant and openness. I loved that the kitchen was open to viewing from the inside dining room. We had a really good view of the entire restaurant and we sat side by side in the bench seating. We love that cozy feeling. There was a variety of booths and tables with single chairs. There was also a bar with two TVs and it was very "minimalist" and I enjoyed the aesthetic of the peaceful flow of it. The bottles were also immaculately arranged. There was also a large outdoor area that we will enjoy the fall I am sure. Super high ceilings made the place feel very open too, I enjoyed that aspect as well. Once seated our server was fantastic. She was a bit over the top with a bubbly personality and we loved it. She was fun and vibrant. The food matched the vibe she and the restaurant was putting out. We had some dumplings and the avocado edamame dip with pita and it was all amazing. I enjoyed a teriyaki bowl with tofu added. And my boo enjoyed the burger. The food was consistently well flavored and salted perfectly. The flavors matched and melded in ways you don't always see in restaurants. It felt like I was at a small restaurant with a chef that takes much attention. But you know what they got it all right! The wine I had was pretty good as well, the server did not know much about the drinks, but she did have great recommendations for the food. The teriyaki bowl I had had quinoa, rice, veggies, lots of flavor. The tofu added did not have flavor but with the bowl ingredients it was a perfect compliment and provided me the protein I was looking for. We also enjoyed a avocado key lime pie. It was super interesting and the consistence and flavor was amazing. The crust was a bit too hard, but well, we just at the key lime filling - very GOOD! I really expected more hiccups but I was very pleasantly surprised and as we looked around, we noticed they had a LOT of staff. It seemed that everyone chipped in and made customers feel valued. There was a lot of coaching on the floor from what I can see and I feel that is a valuable skill to possess in customer facing businesses. We were so excited we ordered pizza out the next day. The service was fast, pick up was easy (they have pick up spots in front of the restaurant). And my vegan pizza made me so happy! We also got a lava cake and the cookie. The cookie left me still wanting a cookie, it missed the mark for me but mostly because it was Gluten Free I think. The texture and flavor just didn't suit me. But the lava cake we enjoyed with some of the ice cream from the cookie and it was amazing. Bravo. We will be back for more. We love true food and go here often and have been for years. Food is always great. Last night after watching a woman berate the staff for a salad that took 30 minutes to come out and some cold chicken, we were appalled at her behavior. After our meal, we understood her issue (but still are not ok with her behavior) the meal took quite awhile to arrive(that's fine) but that was then they informed us that one meal wasn't available so she had to order something else. She waited another 25 minutes, while we all ate our food, for her pizza to arrive. Plenty of meals, including other pizzas came out before hers. Including a flatbread that we ordered at the beginning of the meal, which came out cold after we finished our entrees. The bill came and they charged us for her meal that didn't arrive and the meal that they said they'd comp. We had them take the meals off (like they said they would) and the bill was still over $100 for a very frustrating experience. I can understand being understaffed but the timing of telling us what wasn't available and not rushing to get our guest's food out while we all ate was unacceptable. There were also dishes that sat on tables the entire time we were there with a staff person wiping down the same tables over and over but not cleaning up any of the dirty dishes. Love the vibe at this place, good food, good service, and overall good experience but definitely on the pricey side (probably for the quality and freshness of the food). The inside is so cute. It's very modern and chic in terms of decor and there's a lot of green which I love. Lots of natural lighting, tons of seating inside, clean tables, just everything great. The inside is huge and there's an equally large covered patio area too. There are carts of herbs surrounding the restaurant and a fruity water dispenser by the waiting area. I'm just obsessed with the set up. The food was tasty. The spaghetti squash casserole was tasty but pretty small in portion size- definitely not enough for an entree as advertised. The tuna lettuce cups were very tasty but I'm not sure that they were worth $14. The BOWLS though. The bowls are another story. The portion size was good and were so good. I really loved my ancient grains bowl with tofu ($18 in total) although $20 is a lot to spend on a bowl for lunch. It is full of yummy healthy foods though. The Korean bowl was also very good. We got the flourless chocolate cake which was very decadent and rich but the ice cream complimented it well. Our waiter was very nice and checked up on us frequently. We always had enough water and he made recommendations for us. I have no complaints about the service at all. Overall, very good experience with very good food. I'm all for the vibe here but I definitely can't afford to eat here frequently. read more

Three of us snagged a mid-week reservation and got lucky enough to sit outside on a beautiful evening. Service was earnest, but new, so lots of "I will find out" when we asked nerdy, stupid foody questions -like where is the shrimp from (Asia farms, which bothered a friend that prefers to eat wild caught Gulf shrimp) but they recently opened, so no big deal! We ate tomato soup and edamame and meat dumplings, a flatbread pizza with mushrooms and cheese, and the sea bass on cauliflower. The star of the show was the hummus - delicious, spicy and nice pickled onions on top - thin pita which we at first grumbled amongst ourselves about, but LOVED when we ate it! Super noisy inside - bad acoustics when full and loud music. Sit outside if you can. LOTS of visiting management hovering, stopping by and sincerely asking about the food, tastes, drinks, service and overall experience- and taking notes. Nice place! read more

Stopped by on a whim for a quick bite while shopping. Wasn't expecting much. My boyfriend and I were totally blown away by the incredible food and our wonderful waiter, James Vaughn . What a delightful experience! He was both attentive , funny and detail oriented. We enjoyed both a tuna appetizer and edamame dumplings. Outstanding! Between courses , because we made a mess, James swooped in, wiped everything down, replaced silverware and got us in order . All to share a burger (which was thoughtfully divided in the kitchen). We didn't have to ask for any of this it was simply a matter of course. Not as common as one might think. My compliments to the team, James, of course and the fabulous kitchen. Walking in the front door the first time, I remarked how Cooper's former tasting room had been transformed into a chic mess hall. As others have noted, the décor and furniture have the oxymoronic quality of being expensively Spartan; the seating is designedly uncomfortable. The food itself is quite good for the broad genre of "healthy" restaurant fare; this is not the typical Sysco slop. I've had both pasta and pizza, and I cannot discern the lack of gluten in the pizza. Ending the meal is a preview of dining to come as society continues its descent into techno-dystopia. Instead of human interaction, True Food requires diners to scan a QR code emblazoned on the table to launch a web-based app for payment. Why even bother with servers at all when diners can just use the QR code for the whole experience? read more

GOERS BEWARE ON CROWDED DAYS!! Went out with my parents, we noticed it was a little crowded but nothing absurd and nothing that warranted a hour long wait for appetizers which didn't even come out at the same time. This also brought in an issue where we were given the wrong appetizers twice and then told about three different times it would only be "one second" or "a couple more minutes" for our SECOND appetizer. Hummus, HUMMUS, took a hour and a half to get to our table. Our Roasted Brussel sprouts arrived 30 minutes before. Finally, after our debacle with the appetizers was settled we then waited another 50 minutes for our entrees! I ordered the THAI PEANUT NOODLE BOWL it is supposed to be a good mix of spicy and sweet. The best way I can describe this meal was if I gave my 11 year old niece the "glass noodles" they use in the bowl and said "make me something with these" and she proceeds to dump an entire jar of peanut butter in it. It was unappetizing and nauseating after a few bites. If someone was severely allergic to peanuts sitting across from me there would've been an emergency. This combined with inconsistent service, ridiculous wait times, overpriced drinks, and an overall waste of time for me because I ended up going to RegionAle for actual dinner should have resulted in a null bill. Instead we were only discounted the THAI PEANUT NOODLE BOWL and the hummus appetizer. Please increase the representation of how much your establishment costs, it is misleading and customers need to know where to spend their money and most importantly TIME. read more
