I dined with my wife in early November. As mentioned in the other reviews, the focus on mostly vegetarian and seasonal foods brought us here. The place is well decorated with a nice looking interior. The food was well seasoned and flavorful. I had a pizza margherita and my wife had the turkey burger. We split brussels sprouts and jackfruit lettuce wraps. The brussels sprouts were probably the best item of the night, and the jackfruit wraps were probably the least favorite of the night. COVID specific details: Tables are adequately distanced. Staff and servers are wearing masks. They have signage outside and near restrooms stating their capacity and distancing requirements. I called in advance asking if they had heated outdoor seating, which they responded yes. This "outdoor seating" is an enclosed tarp patio, which doesn't have airflow the way some people might want during the pandemic. The benefits of this are that it retains heat and comfort, but the downside is that there isn't really an added level of safety eating outdoor vs. indoor if you're concerned about COVID aerosols. Just to be clear, I felt pretty safe but I know many who are sticklers about plenty of airflow (even while sacrificing warmth). Overall, very nice place that we would return to, especially when this virus is done. read more

The butternut squash could have been a meal on its own, butternut squash pizza with almond ricotta was to die for, the chicken pizza rivaled our favorite NY style pizza shops in Columbus , and the harissa cauliflower was for the win. Had an amazing experience at this restaurant! Not only were the food and drinks top notch, but our server, Kelly, was an absolute delight! She helped run down the menu for us and assisted in choosing what both my sister and I were going to try for the evening. We both started with a kale salad which was super good! Please, stop butchering Asian food! If you don't have the skill, just don't do it. The two stars are for the environment and the presentation. I ordered Korean potato noodles, and it is THE WORST I have ever had compared to the ones from any Asian restaurants or from any homecooked meals. The ingredients are very basic, the noodle is watery, and my mouth is full of the taste of bad soy sauce with a little spicy flavor. The portion is small, but it's too salty so I can't finish it. I appreciate how the restaurant is trying to bring a diversified food pallet to a typical American modern eating experience. But, if you want to introduce Asian food to non-Asians, please at least make an effort. Don't bring out the worst representation of a signature Asian food and shamelessly use the name that associates with the food's origin. Call it "True food potato noodle" or "our Imitation of Korean noodle". Food and how they taste are a very important part of Asian culture. Show some respect! read more

Brand new store in Easton Towne Center. Stopped on a whim and ordered a take out. The person who took the order was very courteous and knowledgeable. We order a seasonal salad and a teriyaki bowl. Both entrees were made exceptionally well with exceptional taste. In addition, the packaging materials kept the entrees perfect until we were able to indulge about 10 minutes after we go them. I've been here a couple of times, and everything has always been great! Super clean inside and follows covid guidelines also. They have extensive vegan options (highly recommend the squash pie and grain bowl with tofu) as well as some really great cocktails, notably the apple bourbon and the Paloma. The staff has always been super friendly, usually I'm dining alone at the bar and have had an amazing experience every single time. A few managers even stopped by to check on things occasionally, definitely one of my favorite vegan friendly spots in columbus! read more

The food is delightful, but super small portions for what you pay. Service is mediocre, though friendly: we had to ask our server 5x for more pita bread for our hummus appetizer. Our main course and our bill came out before we ever got our pita bread. Then, to top it off the servers cleared our hummus from the table before we could finish it, without asking if we were done. On my second lunch at True Food Kitchen, my friends and I ordered the spaghetti squash casserole. The seasonings in the tomato sauce were spot on, and the tomato flavor reminded me of summer. The food was absolutely amazing! My boyfriend doesn't like Brussel sprouts but the Brussel sprout appetizer was yummo! My spaghetti squash casserole was delish with the especially made spaghetti sauce!! Our drinks were different so that made it even more to have another! I've been trying to eat cleaner and healthier and True Food Kitchen is a great option for people like me. The menu is not huge but there's a good variety - super veggie focused salads and entrees to even a burger for carnivores. I got the Korean Noodles and didn't even miss meat because it was so flavorful. The cauliflower appetizer was my favorite and I will probably return just so I can eat it again. I love that the decor is fresh, casual and simple and it is a great place for a quick meal with friends, date night or after shopping around at Easton. Second time going today: and I was impressed again. It was a little busy, but our server Eli touched base with us right away and said he'd be right with us, a small gesture that always goes a long way. Appetizers were great as always, got the hummus with gluten free pita and tomato soup. I've had the steak tacos before and they were great, I asked Eli to help me decide between a few items and we settled on the chicken panini, which was great. Had a vegan in the party as well as me being gluten free. Very accommodating and service was great, as well as the food. Only negative thing was the refreshers seemed a little short for the price, mainly due to there being a ton of ice in the drink.
