Last Sunday I came here with my mom and grandma. We got to enjoy some of the summer dishes before it was too late, and we were not disappointed. Our server, T, was kind, attentive and patient to answer any questions we had with dietary modifications. We had a margarita and mojito with watermelon flavors and they were so fresh and tasty. The watermelon salad was sweet and a wonderful appetizer alongside of the charred cauliflower. The salmon with curry sauce I believe was a summer dish that was filling enough but not excessive. My mom loves their Korean noodles, and she ordered the sauce on the side which she liked because she got to control the amount poured onto the noodles. I ordered a squash casserole with chicken; they had forgotten to place the chicken inside. I attempted to mix it but it wasn't as good as the chicken was dry as well. The desserts were SCRUMPTIOUS. The mango tarts accommodated for the gluten and dairy modifications and my blueberry sundae was substituted with vegan ice cream. I still think about that sundae. We loved our seating spot, the bathrooms were clean and the overall atmosphere was enjoyable and fun. We had a wonderful time enjoying the food and the service provided by T. I was looking for a healthy clean option at a new place and this place hit it in the head!! They have a well diversified/seasonal menu, fresh fruit and MOCKTAILS!!! We were able to get the seating within 10mins and just walked in on Friday night. We were surprised actually Food was tasty. But I felt the portion was little less for the cost. My server Ness was the best server I've had in a very long time. He checked on us often, but not to the point where it was too much. He made great suggestions & gave insights about everything we ordered. On top of that he was just genuinely a great person! The food was spectacular. The seasonal truffle squash flatbread was perfectly sweet & spicy and so were the brussels sprouts. I also had the Seared Tuna that was great. The sauce and some seasonings were spread along side the dish which was nice to be able to use as much or as little as you'd like. The inside of this place is full of natural light which was nice. Also came with wife couple hrs before closing and basically had to eat while staff swept and changed garbage in kitchen ....got very grossed out even thinking of the potential of someone spit being in my food from talking over read more

We drive by route 1 a lot and had high expectations but I don't think I'm going back. we were a party of 4 and got the vegan burger and OG burger and that was ok. The chicken and sausage pizza was SALTY ,my husband who loves pizza stopped after his first slice. Lasagna Bolognese was not appetizing at all,SALTY again and the sauce wasn't enjoyable.Service and the ambiance were good. read more

The worst one I have ever been to, and I tried them 3 times too many. Staff is great, place is clean but the kitchen!!.........My 3rd and definitely the last horrible trip , ordered the OG burger, side of kale salad + side of potatoes with a Mango tart dessert. Travel for work so I normally order to go: 1) Driest burger in years, toppings missing 2) Missing Kale salad 3) desert tasted like lemon tart, nothing mango about it. 4) No utensils, napkins, and when I requested it, I was told they ran out. AT 1PM IN THE AFTERNOON. And all my experience was similar things happening. Will only go to the one close by me now. read more

Tried this restaurant once a few weeks ago. The inside was nice and clean, however the seats in the front had air coming out of vents behind us, and it became very uncomfortable. We had to move to a different location. The food was just ok. I had a salad, no protein in it, it was mediocre at best. My friends had the pizza. They liked it. Service was good. read more

I had high hopes because the other reviews looked so good but this was a major disappointment. I got the garden salad pesto pizza and they literally just put salad ingredients on top of undercooked dough and pesto. They also have surprisingly few vegetarian options for what their marketing puts out. Our waiter was nice and the restaurant was clean so that's why they get 2 stars. They did an outstanding job on the build out at this location. True Foods is one of my go to spots back in LA. I was very happy to see they had a location recently open in Edison. Did a pick up order, food was a bit late but the staff was so professional and gracious. The host even opens the doors for all the guests. It was a very nice experience and the food of course is delicious. Always love the grass fed Korean steak. Highly recommend this location! Looking forward to going back. read more

Service was great but my chicken burger was ridiculously dry and the sweet potato "hash" side I got with it was mostly burnt, kinda like something I would make in college between study's and cooking and forgetting I was making food resulting in having that hash. A pretty reliably good place to grab food near the mall if you're not feeling the food court. There are lots of vegetarian and vegan options, even if order modifications are usually not possible. I would advise staying away from Italian or American dishes as they're usually quite bland, but the Asian inspired dishes are great--the teriyaki bowl is a standout. Dessert is nothing special, but the drinks are pretty good. The interior is spacious and airy, and there's a nice bar at the front. There's plenty of seating, so wait times are usually low. read more

Such a cute and new spot on route one!! Absolutely loved the interior design and decoration of the place! The staff is SO friendly and knowledgeable on the items!! Beautiful modern woodsy green vibes. When you walk in they have refreshing water thats usually made up of different fruits and its so tasty! The drinks are great- the apple lemonade and hibiscus limeade are super refreshing and leave you hydrated. Loved the large amount of vegan options!!! We got the charred cauliflower and roasted brussel sprouts. I wouldnt say they are worth the price but they were definitely tasty. We got the roasted butternut squash pizza and korean bowl for dishes. The pizza was unique and tasty although i didnt love the blobs of almond ricotta. The korean bowl was also great- very big portion! Lastly for dessert i highly recommend the cookies and ice cream- ask for them to warm it because it comes cold.. absolutely delicious!! Definitely a great spot to try but save it for a fun date night because they are a bit pricey! read more

Ahh! This is one of my favorite restaurants! I got to experience them right before they opened during their influencer/soft launch. The food is fresh, delicious and the service is amazing! The ambiance is top tier and aesthetically pleasing. you cannot go wrong with True Food. This is the first diet inclusive restaurant I've ever been to that caters to ALL restrictions -- vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, pescatarian etc. The plus side is everything's delicious and farm to table. read more
