I hate matcha, but my baby wanted it. Soooo, this review is based off my hatred for matcha. They have better matcha than most that i tried. The matcha i got tasted like chocolate. The inside is small and this place needs a bigger sign. Its hard to see where this place is at. Its to the right if honey pig. I did however loved the cheddar croissant thing they had.
The shop has such a cute, modern vibe with lots of greenery, and the decor is so cute. The staff were incredibly sweet and welcoming. They have self-order kiosks, which made ordering quick and easy. I ordered the True Matcha and a Matcha Float. True Matcha was so good! I'm still pretty new to drinking matcha, and this one was exactly what I was looking for. It had a nice earthy flavor without being too strong, and it wasn't overly sweet either. It was smooth, refreshing, and easy to enjoy. I would definitely come back to try more of their drinks!
We arrived before 11 AM and were told they were not open yet, which was completely fine--we were happy to wait. After 11 AM, we started placing our order on the self-service machine. We selected our preferences, such as less ice and less sugar. When we were almost finished ordering, the server asked us to stop using the machine and said she would take our order instead. We then told her that we wanted less sugar and less ice, but she said there was no option for that, even though those options were available on the machine. The entire interaction felt very rude and unfriendly. We had no issue waiting for them to open, but the way the ordering process and our requests were handled made the experience very unpleasant
I stopped into True Matcha totally unplanned. We were driving in the area and saw that there was a matcha place here. We we're stuck behind a bus and then we saw that there was a big sign for matcha and that the reviews for the store or really good. We decided to come in and we just saw that it was a little bit hidden but it was in the far corner. We ordered a true matcha and then double matcha. Some of the other items looked amazing and we want to go back for sure. The shaved ice looks great and some of the other desserts look amazing too. The drinks were amazing and it definitely be back in a future. There is plenty of parking everywhere and everything is very green inside and on theme.
Wow! This was a good spot for a sweet and refreshing treat! I am a fan of matcha and thought I should give this place a shot. It is tucked away right next to Tour de jours cafe/bakery so it could easily be missed. Upon entering, there were a lot of seating areas and felt like it was a tight space. Maybe less seating area and a wider spot for people to go to the counter since the counter was in the back. A group of 4 went in first then me and we were all standing right by the door to go in and it wasn't busy. I would suggest changing out the layout or a line separation to make it a bit clearer to browse the menu and order. I scooted my way in to order lol I would also suggest lowering the music a bit because I was expecting the ambiance to be a nice calm and quiet café to sit and relax while having my drink but it felt awkward with the loud music and seat arrangements lol. I got the Matcha float since I wanted ice cream and something creamy on a warm summer day. And it was my Friday, so it was a good day to treat myself. The matcha float had matcha soft served ice cream with a matcha latte. The matcha latte was pretty strong. The ice cream mixed in with the latte was perfect. It was creamy and light with the perfect amount of sweetness. I liked how the matcha wasn't too powdery mixed in with the ice cream. I wanted to try the pepperoni coin pocket but they didn't have any unfortunately. Maybe next time, I'll give it a shot.
My first time. I wasn't sure what I was in for but had a super pleasant experience. Friendly and patient staff helped me decide what to get. I went for something I would normally not order and had a great experience. My strawberry matcha was ultra rich and creamy, a little sweet, and perfectly balanced with ceremonial green tea cold foam. Really something special. The ambiance is relaxed and yet fun. It's a small place but plenty of backdrops for cool selfies and seating to sit and enjoy some terrific matcha.
TL;DR: I took off a star for order speed but FIVE STARS for flavor! GO! Easily one of the BEST matcha lattes I've ever had! They only use ceremonial matcha, and you can tell from the flavor - it tastes like quality ingredients. I got the regular iced matcha, which came with a lovely umami and sweet combined foam with matcha tea; husband got the banana matcha. We both split a matcha soft serve and uh, needless to say, we got our matcha craving fulfilled! Coin pockets were also yummy (got pepperoni pizza and egg and cheese). That said: Taking off one star for order speed. We got our lattes and soft serve first, but didn't get our hot food after ordering at the fully automated kiosk until maybe 30 minutes after ordering - we fortunately weren't in a hurry, but I was starving! The matcha latte and soft serve helped keep things at bay, but having that as the first thing to hit my stomach wasn't ideal, lol. That said, I still happily proclaim true matcha to have what is perhaps the best matcha in town, just would love the order speed to nudge up a bit. Great cozy seating, love the vibe, and it's next door (not sure if it's shared ownership?) with Tous Les Jours if you want an extra pastry snack.
Stopped by True Matcha after lunch for dessert because we wanted to try their shaved ice, but unfortunately they weren't serving it that day. We ended up getting the matcha soft serve instead, and it was surprisingly really good--rich, creamy, and full of matcha flavor. The only downside was the wait. Even though I was the only person who had ordered when I placed mine, they made several drink orders that came in after me before preparing my soft serve. Other than that, I'd definitely come back for the matcha soft serve.
This is a new matcha spot I found on social media. I ordered a Pistachio Cream Matcha and Strawberry Shaved Iced. The matcha was good but not great. It was a little thinker than most and tasted a bit heavier. The consistency definitely affected the matcha's overall taste. The shaved iced looked better than it tasted. The strawberries were fresh and delicious. However, the shaved iced was extremely bland and had absolutely no flavor. Kudos, to the staff who were great and very friendly.
True matcha has been my girlfriend's and I's go to ever since we discovered it! The service is unmatched but especially today, my gf and I were in no rush after we ordered on the iPad, we were waiting for our drinks to be made and Heart apologized for the wait and she gave us a soft serve for our patience! We thought it was so kind and we appreciate this kind of service. There has never been a time where we felt the service wasn't good. It's been exceptional every time.
Lovely matcha place next to tous les jours. Very popular for their matcha and have options with lattes, shaved ice, soft service, banana pudding. Got the ube matcha latte with oatmilk. Delicious.
This matcha spot is named #15 out of top 50 matcha spots in the U.S so I had high expectations! It's open daily Hours are: - Sun-Thurs - 11am-10pm - Fri & Sat - 11am-12am It's located inside a busy shopping plaza so parking can be difficult but there's plenty of parking. Inside was spacious and had plenty of seating and power outlets so it's a good study spot! Service was welcoming and friendly Menu had a good variety of matcha drinks, desserts, snacks. Pricing was reasonable and most drinks were $7-$8! Got the Double Matcha ($8) and it wasn't too sweet. The matcha wasn't too bitter and tasted delicious. The drink was very milky and creamy! The matcha was good but probably wasn't the best quality I had but not too bad since they use ceremonial quality. The strawberry matcha ($7) was refreshing and fruity. The matcha tasted subtle and it had bits of strawberries on the bottom. It needed a really good stir otherwise it tasted very sweet. It was decent but most likely wouldn't get again or recommend. Overall, I thought the matcha drinks were ok but probably wasn't the best matcha spot I ever had. I was a little disappointed since I had high expectations but it was a good first time experience.
Delicious matcha! We ordered the Ube matcha and the strawberry Ube drinks with almond milk. It was nice to have nondairy substitutes available and the drinks were still super creamy and frothy. Both drinks were so delicious and the vibes inside were cute and welcoming. A great chinatown matcha spot!

Solid matcha spot. Its entrance is connected to Puradak Chicken and Bobae Noodle House. I ordered the true matcha latte with oat milk and it was delicious. You can taste the matcha flavor and it had just the right amount of sweetness. Highly recommend the true matcha latte. I also tried the coconut matcha creme. The coconut water they used wasn't my favorite but the cream top was good and drink was decent overall. Service was quick. There were a few tables insides. Plenty of parking in the plaza. read more

The inside looked so nice! It's just a little small and cramped, I had my 4 year old so not the best for little kids. I absolutely loved my order of the blueberry matcha and coconut matcha- super refreshing! definitely one the best matcha I've had in Vegas. Service was good/ nice. read more

I was in the area and stopped by to try another matcha. I ordered Coconut Cream Matcha ($7) and it's absolutely delightful and super refreshing! It has a natural sweetness from coconut water topped with light and soft matcha cream, so yummy and not to sweet! It's now my new favorite go-to at True Matcha, I love it! Also had Matcha Cream Puff (5 pieces, $7), so good! Other flavors are ube, chocolate, and vanilla. They have matcha float and parfait for dessert too! This is a small casual spot, but still a great place for a nice meet up and they play really good songs. I love that they open very late until 11pm, so if craving for a matcha drink or sweet treat, this is a good place to go! Service from Heart is very kind, welcoming, and friendly! read more

Drink: 3/5 Matcha Latte: creamy, taste good overall but not have the aromatic of whisking bc matcha is pre-made in a big tub and pour out Pistachio matcha: Pistachio cream on top of matcha. There is a hint of pistachio, adding a nice touch. But again I prefer the matcha to be whisked when making a new drink, not pre-made matcha Service: 5/5 Fast and efficient Ambiance 4/5: they combine with a korean chicken shop. A very cozy place next to a big bakery! Limited menu but wonderful taste, got the Ube matcha and oh my god it lived by the name -- TRUE MATCHA!!! I tried the coconut matcha and I wasn't a fan, just coconut water and matcha foam cap!!! The name did give it away though ;) creamy coconut matcha but nope! Also got the pistachio matcha latte pretty good!! I definitely need to go back there and try more options :) All in all loved it! The prices were reasonable! read more

I usually grab boba tea from a few shops down in the plaza but I've been on a matcha kick lately, so I was glad to see a new matcha place open up. There were a few people studying or working inside so it looks like a good place for that. I decided on a true matcha latte and it was delicious! I will definitely be back if I am ever in the area. read more

I'm usually pretty picky with matcha, my common complaint is the matcha is too weak/watered down or overpowered by the milk. I had FOMO and got both the double matcha and the blueberry latte w/ matcha cream. I enjoyed both of them. The matcha really comes through and I got some of that matcha bitterness that I always look for and it tasted robust/full. The matcha latte drinks are made with a milk mixed with condensed milk but you can ask for whole milk (or oat milk +$1) for the drink to be slightly less sweet. The difference is very subtle. The blueberry drink wasn't too sweet imo which I like and I generally don't like my drinks sweeter than 25% at most boba/matcha places. I had a sip of the True Matcha and the difference is True Matcha has the sweet cream and Double Matcha has the matcha cream and gives you a very matcha-y drink. The matcha and milk soft serve tastes very creamy and is basically a softserve version of True Matcha. read more

Trying this place out for the 1st time! It was kind of hard/ awkward to find. The signs are a little misleading... but you do enter a doors and go down and then multimeter on the left side. The menu was fun and lots of choices! The matcha itself was very tasty, but it did have a lot of ice in the cup. Staff was helpful with helping us decide what to order. We just got it to go, so we didn't stay too long. read more

After a few nights of ending our night outs at 5am in Las Vegas, I definitely need a pick-me-up on Sunday morning. We decided to stop by this matcha shop since there were a lot of different options for matcha drinks here. At first, it was a little difficult to find since it's co-located with another food place, but we eventually found it. I ordered the hojicha latte, while others in the group tried some of the other drinks. I felt alive once the first sip of the hojicha latte hit my lips, it was packed with that toasty and nutty flavor that you expect from a good hojicha. Everyone else seemed satisfied with their drinks + soft serve ice cream as well. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're a matcha/hojicha fan. read more

Very calm and easy going environment here at true matcha, yet maintains a clean vibe. The menu is expansive of different sweet and fruit flavors, which is great in this current matcha shop economy. On my ongoing quest to quench my thirst for matcha, I stumbled upon True Matcha. The majority green decor, varied selection of matcha latte flavors, and kind staff were all highlights of my experience here. Just a side note, True Matcha shares a storefront with Puradak and Bobae Noodle House, but it's still a clean, roomy spot with lots of seating. Although I was in between getting the chestnut creme matcha and the classic true matcha latte, I ended up getting the true matcha latte to get a feel for their base matcha flavor. It definitely wasn't the best matcha I've ever had but I was pleasantly surprised! The true matcha latte was not too sweet which I liked. The foam top was also nice and light which helped balance the earthiness of the matcha. If I pass through Vegas Chinatown again, I'll be back for sure.. maybe to get the chestnut creme matcha. read more
Super cute and aesthetic! I love the wall art of the different businesses around Vegas when you first walk in. The matcha here personally wasn't my favorite though, I got the regular True matcha and it was pretty bland overall, with a slightly too bitter aftertaste. My friend got the double matcha and said the same thing. Mostly milky and not a strong matcha taste. The service was great though, the cashier was very friendly, lighting in there is good for studying, and the vibes there are good for hanging out with friends! What's nice is that they also have a really good looking food menu, so even if the matcha isn't for you, the food might be! read more
I was actually surprised by this place. I didn't want a full on matcha drink but I wanted something a bit more refreshing. The coconut matcha was just the thing, it's coconut juice topped with matcha foam. Surprisingly it was delicious cause you get the sip of sweet coconut juice and the foam together, it's perfection. The matcha tasted like pretty good quality. I had a little bit of matcha soft serve and it was a bit too sweet for my liking. It does get busy in here and a bit confusing to find the door but it's right next to a hot pot place. And they had side to side doors. Love when a place has double matcha. Super flavorful. Cute that was initially a bit hard to find. We entered through what looked like the entrance for Bobae Noodles. You can order either Puradak or matcha with the cashier. They've got a variety of unique flavors, like blueberry matcha and mango matcha. Their cream puffs are super yummy too! The matcha is whipped into a foam and then poured on top of the strawberry milk. I liked the matcha foam because it didn't just sink to the bottom of the cup as soon as I stirred it. They used freeze dried strawberries which gave sweetness and texture. I wish the matcha and strawberry milk came mixed together so I didn't have to stir it myself, but I get that it looks more aesthetic this way. The matcha cream puff was good. It could have used a little more cream filling to balance out the choux pastry. The choux pastry was a little dry and crunchy for my liking but it was better than it being soggy. The servers were really polite and recommended their favorites :) very helpful. read more
MATCHA LOVERS! This place has so many matcha options from drinks, desserts, ice cream and more! If you're not feeling matcha they have chicken wings, sandwiches, quick bites and other options! My friends and I went after dinner so we didn't order any food! We all ordered a different matcha flavored drink! All our drinks were good but hands down...the Pistachio Cream Matcha was a my FAVE! This review is based on a single visit on 9/11/2025. I was looking forward to a delicious matcha drink and the Ube Latte with Matcha creme I ordered HIT THE SPOT! The drink was an ube-flavored milk topped with a thick layer of matcha creme. I loved seeing the wide variety of drink options on their menu... so many interesting choices - including Coconut Creme Matcha, Chestnut Creme Matcha, Pistachio Creme Matcha, and a plethora of matcha-based desserts. I think this would be a fantastic place to stop for an afternoon pick-me-up, and I look forward to swinging by here again the next time I'm in Chinatown! read more

**August 2025: Sunday Afternoon Visit** Vegas is hot in the summer so I wanted something to quench my thirst. I found True Matcha and as a matcha enthusiast I thought it was the perfect beverage to keep me cool. This shop is located in a strip mall and shares space with Puradak, a chicken shop. The entrance is a bit confusing as the sign says Bobae Noodle shop, but rest assured you're going the right direction. The menu is pretty straight forward as they sell drinks, soft serve, and desserts. I ordered a strawberry matcha latte ($7) and it was refreshing and very photogenic. They have oat milk as the milk alternative for an additional dollar. There's some seats inside (maybe for 15 people at most), but I think most people were just here for a grab and go. I've never been a matcha fan (as I've only tried it from Starbucks) but this has definitely changed my mind. It's so delicious. Since this was my first time trying actual matcha, I got the ube latte w/matcha crème and it was amazing. Strawberry latte was delicious too and I had a sip of the true matcha latte. DELICIOUS. The workers are nice, patient and quick to get your drinks out. Shop is tucked into a small spot, so it's easy to miss but do NOT skip this spot!! It's a cute little shop, with comfortable and plentiful seats. read more
First time here and everything was so good. When you first walk in, the walkway is full of pictures and is such a cute spot to take pictures. I absolutely loved that matcha banana pudding! Kinda wished we got another one. We came close to closing (I didn't realize they close at 10, but nonetheless, they were so nice to us and still gave amazing service). The coconut matcha is refreshing and the banana matcha was so on point. read more
