There was a problem with our toilet overflowing and when Victor showed up he listened to what I was saying at first without interrupting me. A very good listener and hard working guy. Yelp'ed for a local Plumber in the Oceanside area and gave True Plumbing Inc. a call. Dave answered all my concerns and scheduled me for an appointment early the following morning. Dave arrived on-time and was ready to check out my issues. After a few quick diagnostic tests and a couple of questions about the symptoms of my plumbing issues, he jumped in and got to work in replacing my defective Pressure Regulator Valve. Within an hour, he had removed the old regulator, installed a new shut-off valve (at my request), and the new PRV. Rating these guys ONLY 5 stars doesn't do them justice! Wow!! Dave just saved us! My husband was trying to install a new faucet and didn't have the right tool. . .and the water was turned off because the new lines leaked badly so we were facing a water emergency at 3:00p on a Tuesday afternoon. Bryson from True Plumbing was out this morning to fix a slow/clogged drain, install a new garbage disposal and fix a very old toilet that was slow to fill. I can't say enough good things about him or the experience. It turns out I didn't need a new disposal. He worked his magic and fixed the one I had. Also made very short work of fixing the drain. Jason with True Plumbing suggested to replace the toilet since it was over 30 years old. A few business days later Sell replaced the toilet, before placing the new toilet down he cleaned up the feces around the sewage drain and finished the job by caulking around the toilet (in which our prior plumber did not do). The cleanup was the best I have ever seen in this profession. We have used True Plumbing for several jobs and always call them first. The Big Boys, Anderson Plumbing, said our slab had to be jackhammered to fix the clean out which was a lot of BS. Michael and his crew came out on our schedule and made all the necessary repairs without touching the slab. And just like that... after 4 months of suffering with no hot water in the kitchen, we called True Plumbing and Dave solved our problem almost with a snap of a finger. On 7/10/20 Steven (a Senior Tech at True Plumbing) installed replacement valve assemblies and escutcheon nuts (retrofit kit items provided by Kohler) for my two bath faucets. The original items were "locked" in position by 14 years of corrosion and calcium deposits. Steve kept with it, carefully removing and replacing the original chrome fixtures. Super nice guy, very professional. He gave me a 2 hr window for the appointment, and called when he was 15 mins out. He showed up right in the middle of the window (most of the time they call 15mins after the window to say they're running late) Very reasonable on the pricing too. He wasn't sure he could fix my slow running drains but wouldn't charge me if he couldn't. Luckily the stoppage wasn't too far into the line and he was able to fix the problem! He also remembered to look into hooking up the icemaker for the fridge before he left and gave me an estimate for that. This is an old house and has special needs. I had a simple job that needed done, connecting my new natural gas grill to the gas pipe on my patio - basically, just installing a shutoff valve and fitting for the hose. One company didn't handle such small jobs. One company quoted me $350 for an admittedly "small job". One company wouldn't even give me an estimate over the phone.
