    Tuna Poke Bowl
    Evie Y.

We have been coming to this place for the last 6 years. We like it a lot and love that they offer organic food at an affordable price. We came here again over the weekend and was very surprised that the food has changed. My husband had the chef's special (chicken noodle soup) while I had the Thai curry shrimp and our daughter had the tuna poke. My husband liked the soup. I did not like the Thai curry. It was very bland and lacked flavor. The curry was very watery. My daughter's poke bowl was basically a bowl of rice with tuna and cilantro on top. Not your typical poke bowl. We had the crispy chicken nuggets for appetizer and it looked like it was something you get from the frozen food aisle in the grocery store. How do you serve this and say it's an appetizer?! Look at the picture I attached if you don't believe me. I was super disappointed especially since we really loved this place. The service is great. The people here are sweet and very kind. I just wished the food tasted the way it used to.

It was great to be back. We took a couple year break after our last experience, but it was time. We were the only people in the restaurant from about 6pm to 7pm on a Saturday when we left. That in itself was pretty crazy. Our server was very friendly and attentive, as it was just us. Food was delicious and had hints of the old days. Not quite to what it used to be with the old owner, but still very good. We'll certainly add True Seasons back into the rotation.

Had a great experience! Grass fed beef and bone broth are amazing. My kids had so much fun cooking their own food in the hot pot and ate so much!

Grass-fed Beef Shabu Shabu at True Seasons Organic Kitchen

Easy 5 stars! Looking for a fun shabu shabu experience? Want a healthy meal with organic offerings that tastes delicious? Need options for vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, Halal-only, meat-lovers? Looking for a place that doesn't break the bank and still can impress? Heck yes, True Seasons to the rescue! For shabu, you pick the broth and meat and get the BIGGEST bowl of vegetables I've ever seen along with noodles and a choice of brown or white rice. I went with the mushroom broth and grass-fed beef for the small portion and it was definitely more than enough for filling. Everyone else walked away happy with their shabu orders of shrimp, prime ribeye, chicken with tofu, and a thai curry bowl. The restaurant setup is ideal for parties of 1-3 people as there are a few 2-person tables and the rest is along the bar, so you'll be sitting in a straight line essentially. That being said, we were a party of 5 and were able to grab the corner seats, so 2 people were on one side and 3 on the other and it worked out well for us all to talk. Shabu, pho, ramen, chicken noodle soup, bowls, you name it! Easy parking in the lot right out front with super attentive customer service. The music playlists covers what's popular (i.e. Taylor Swift) and got to give a win to any place that serves macaroons and coconut water directly from a fresh coconut.

If you want to experience a healthy, vibrant meal made with love, come to True Seasons. Especially great for those who can't choose one thing or have different tastes in their party, they offer everything from hot pot to wraps to poke to curry and more. My husband is vegetarian and they have ample options for vegans, vegetarians and pescatarians. We didn't have a reservation and were seated right away. The seating is fun, you are seated around the bar. We had the following: Vegan spring rolls ($11) - 3/5 This seemed like any usual frozen spring rolls. It tasted a bit bland and came with a generic sauce you can find in stores. I wouldn't order this again. My husband did like it. Vegan hot pot ($25 + $2 for spicy miso broth) - 5/5 Lots of vegetables are provided! If you don't like a certain vegetable (hubby doesn't eat mushrooms), let them know and they'll switch it out! This was SO MUCH FOOD! He loves the dipping sauces. Poke bowl ($17) - 4/5 For poke, there is no variety provided. Basically, this is the one option. I'm used to going to poke places and building my own bowl, so I would prefer some variety in toppings. Now, the tuna quality is excellent!! Really delicious. Also, SO MUCH FOOD! I ate this over the course of 3 days, that's how much there was! One note of caution: easy with the sauce! I didn't realize the sauce on the side was so salty and quickly realized that was why the sauce was on the side! Steamed mixed vegetables ($3) - 5/5 I also asked for vegetables because I was told the poke bowl did not come with vegetables. I was surprised by how MUCH FOOD was provided! They also stayed super hot the whole meal! All in all, the prices are very good considering how much quantity of food is provided. Also, the staff is incredibly sweet and very attentive. We were the last ones there and she even offered us to order dessert and it was past closing time! She shared she doesn't rush anyone out just because they've closed. I was wow'd by that. I can't remember her name but there's a manager who works there most days and she's the best. She worked for the previous owners and I remember her from that time. She loves what she does and you can totally tell from the love she pours into the patrons. Definitely pay them a visit!

    Chicken Pho
    Cha L.

I gotta say this place surprised me. I knew coming into a place serving poke, pho, ramen and hot pot is probably not the most authentic. I don't know if it was because I had really low expectations but it actually exceeded my expectations and wasn't too far off from being authentic. In fact, it is better than another pho place couple plazas away. The noodle was blanched correctly as it did not leave any "noodle residue taste" and the broth was pure. The chicken broth was rich and comforting. It's the perfect bowl of soup broth you'd want when you're feeling sick or cold. This bowl of chicken pho is actually pretty good. Hubby got the beef one and enjoyed the soup as well. You can definitely tell it's a healthier and cleaner version for broths. It's at a higher price point for pho but completely worth the price tag imo. They also give you chicken that seems like it's directly off the bone from the broth which is outstanding. Portion was great. Service was friendly. The only thing is that they didn't have bean sprouts or basil on the side like they do at pho restaurants. The basil is already in the soup which is great. I definitely would come back!

An organic restaurant with a lot of gluten free and vegetarian choices. We came in for an early dinner and was glad that we could sit inside for shabu shabu. It's been really cold to sit outside for meals lately. We started with bottled Sapporo and organic sake. I had a Thai milk tea with boba and another Sapporo later on. For food we had cold tofu as app, prime ribeye and 2 protein combo for shabu. Their soup base came out as two scoops of miso paste which was interesting. The soups were very flavorful. I had to get another medium chicken order cause the chicken and shrimp medium order was too little food for me. Everything was very fresh and tasty but the portions were definitely on the small side and prices were high. I liked it that they had pho instead of udon noodles. Overall we liked the food and service very much. If you come hungry much you will need to order more to get full. Other than that it was a pleasant healthy shabu meal.

Overall review really really really great hot pot, other dish and boba, not so great. Service was a little bit lacking, but not terrible. Friendly but detached also we were the only ones in the restaurant so I could've been a part of that. Grass fed hot pot: 6/5 The soup was incredibly delicious even by itself, and the beef was really good the vegetables tasted fresh and happy. However the price was a little bit steep, will you paid $47 for one hot pot that was 20 ounces beef bone broth it was really worth the eight dollar upgrade. And also you we shared among three people with another entrée so you could possibly do that as well. Organic Boba 2/5 seven dollars not so great little bit sweet. Just not what you would expect after paying seven dollars Chicken curry Thai curry one out of five stars Was not very flavorful and kind of watery, and the price was too high $17

Premium combo = entree + $10 Entree + premium drink + masala fries I tried the bowl with mild biryani, malai chicken, green (mild) sauce, and guava mango lassi. The bowl already comes with the raita sauce (a yogurt sauce), so I got the green sauce as my choice of sauce after asking the staff for recommendations. The protein portion was super generous and very well-seasoned with their spice. The green sauce was my favorite and everything in the bowl mixed well together. The whole bowl was delicious and it didn't feel heavy, wasn't greasy. The Kashmiri Chai and the guava mango lassi are the most popular drinks, so I decided to try the guava mango lassi. The flavors blended so well. One wasn't more overpowering than the other, and the sweetness level was perfect for me, also, not too much ice. Masala fries So crispy and well-seasoned!! Could be a little less salty. Gulab jamun cheesecake Also asked for recommendations for their cheesecakes and decided to go with this one. It has the fried donut ball in the middle with syrup. It didn't taste too sweet to me, but I also have higher tolerance for sweets. The center has so much of the cheesecake cheese and it was super soft and fluffy. So delicious! The samosas were also great! Crispy and not too oily. I also love that they use compostable takeout containers, including the lid! The interior looks nice and there are a few seats available. There's outdoor shaded tables and seats too. The only downside is that I wish the outdoor seats were a bit cleaner. There is a free parking garage, just make sure to park in the retail spaces. There was enough parking. The staff members are so helpful and very friendly. Can order with a staff member or using their kiosk. HIGHLY recommend!! Would definitely go back!
