I didn't like their version of Poké as it had too many other items and less protein than I like. The oysters on sale were mushy and had too much oyster fat which made them creamy which I don't like. Glad I got to try this place but it's not for me.
Unfortunately there is not much seating in the restaurant so you'll likely have to wait for a table. I do believe there's patio seating but didn't go back there. It's very confusing when you come in because there's a sign that tells you to order on the right but everyone lines up to the left...lots of shifting and waiting going on. The person that starts your Poké order doesn't communicate well. I asked for salmon and hamachi and she gave me salmon and tuna...then passing it on to the next worker who does the extra sides, he gave the person in front of me the wrong thing but didn't take it out of their bowl...it seemed rushed and they don't really care if the items are wrong. Like many people said, you do have to wait awhile for oysters. There's only one person per station so everything can be slow if busy. It's hard to eat the whole meal together because you get your Poké but you have to wait 30 min for oysters. So many people were sitting around just like us waiting for the oysters. The Poké was decent. The tuna protein I didn't order was still semi frozen. This place does get spendy even for $1 oysters.
All day $1 Fanny Bay oysters on Wed and Sat! They were plumb, juicy, and briny! Really unmatched in terms of freshness and value! The platter also came with three distinctly tasted condiments. I did have to wait about half an hour for my dozen during prime dinner hours but completely understandable since there were other $1 oyster orders ahead of me. Tables were first come first serve, and I was able to secure a table even during the busy hours. The place was noisy so you would have to speak up for a conversation. I didn't try their poke bowl so this review is purely for the $1 oysters.

Drove an hour to get here from the South Bay after seeing a reel on Instagram advertising their $1 oysters happy hour on Wednesdays. I believe it begins at 3 and ends around 9 o'clock? Come early, because it truly becomes a madhouse! I actually came here twice. The first time, we came at 8 PM and they were sold out. The cashier told us they were sold out around 6 PM. We came back again two weeks later at 5 PM, and there were luckily minimal people in line so we got our oysters. We ordered 3 dozen. They said the wait would be around 10 minutes, but we ended up waiting 35 minutes. If it was that long of a wait without many people in the store, I wonder how hectic it would be when people started flooding in. When we left at 6:30, the line was out the door. So again, COME EARLY! The oysters were medium-small and very fresh. Some of the oysters had chunks of ice on it from the ice layer. It came with cocktail sauce, mignonette, and a soy sauce with green onions. You can grab Tapatio and Tabasco on the counter. Personally, I didn't like the soy sauce because it amplified the fishy taste of the oysters. I enjoyed the cocktail sauce with a hint of horseradish, as well as the mignonette with the crunchy onions. Lemon squeezes are a must although I wish they gave us more. I ate a dozen while my friend ate two dozen. I was very satisfied with this happy hour. The cleanliness of the store was good although sometimes trays of oysters would be left out for a long time. The customer service was super friendly. It seems like a decent place for poke as well beyond their oysters. The taro chips looked really good; I almost got one. The decor was quirky and overall, it was a casual vibe inside this shop. I feel like you can't beat $1 oysters (that were fresh and perfectly sized). I'd make the trek here again.
Came here for the Wednesday $1 oysters! I also got a regular sized poke bowl. For the bowl it was good but a small amount of fish, for a 4 fish option it's maybe 1/4 fish and I had a lot of rice and things left at the end and no fish to go with it. But the oysters WOW were so fresh and good. The guys loved them, some were a little funky looking in my opinion but again the guys said they tasted fine so I'm sure it was all good. The deal is great for these size of oysters!
We came here for the $1 oysters (available Wednesdays and Saturdays), and we were not disappointed!! The oysters were so sweet and fresh and came with an assortment of sauces, though my favorite was a dash of Tabasco and a squeeze of lemon. We also ordered a couple of poke bowls to share and they were tasty. I love that you can go half and half in choosing the base (like half brown sushi rice and mixed greens), and that you can add in as many toppings as you'd like. We will definitely be back!

But unfortunately the oysters tasted bland and did not taste fresh and they were mushy. I had to put sauce on all of them to add some flavor to the oysters because they didn't have any. Everything was excellent--from the taro chips, Chips on Deck, and spicy crab to the beautiful interior and overall atmosphere. The vibes were great, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. I wish I ate oysters because they offer $1 oysters on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The place was packed, and it was clear that a lot of people came specifically for that deal. The high turnout definitely added to the lively energy of the restaurant. Definitely a place I'd come back to!
Service 5/5 Workers are always smiling and friendly Ambiance 4/5 Clean little spot. Decent amount of seating. They do change the wall decor depending on holidays (ie Valentines Day oer my photo) Food 5/5 Regular bowl gets you 4 selections (small bowl gets you 3 selections) of protein. Wide variety of add-ons to your poke bowl at a decent price $18.95 Fish and ingredients are all fresh.
Great place for the oyster happy hours. We went there on Wednesday and did a 32 count. Service was simple and quick, just go to the front and order, then they gave you a tag. The place is spacious, they have another spot at the back. Will be back soon!
First time trying this location and came specifically for their Wednesday&Saturdays $1 happy hour oysters. Overall the food is good, downside is the service. There was a good amount of people ordering & waiting, but not enough room inside to accommodate what they're trying to sell. No outdoor heaters for their back patio & we had to sit in the cold weather just to eat the oysters.

On the way to the Giants game Steve T. and I checked out Truffle Poke Bar in Burlingame. We went there for their King Kong poke bowl and the $1.50 oysters on happy hour. Steve T a black badge Yelper and I ordered the King Kong bowl but with different ingredients along with a dozen oyster. The bowls were excellent. Most of the oysters were large and meaty but there were a couple of tiny ones mixed in. The interior was simple with couple of outside tables kinda fast food casual. Service is minimal, order at the counter. There is a parking lot across the street with meters. Free after 6 pm. They have the funniest print of a Lama. read more

$1 oyster HH was amazing! Went around 8pm. Seating can be difficult since it does get busy. They have a small patio in the back with a few tables, but it was cold and I don't think I saw any heaters, so it wasn't really an option for me. Got lucky finding a two person table right after ordering two dozen oysters and a couple pints of beer. It did take 20-25 min for our oysters to come out, which gave us enough time to eat them before they closed. Oysters came out on ice with lemons, 3 different sauces + small bottle of Tabasco. Noticed there were two different types of oysters but we weren't too fond of the bigger, creamier kind. Will definitely be back! read more

Cool interior. Lots of places to sit. Solid poke bar. Came for the dollar oysters and wasnt disappointed. Service was a little slow but I came right when they opened,so there was one person taking orders and one person in the back shocking, so no biggy. Maybe waited 15 mins cuz alot of people ahead of me got oysters too. I got the tuna lovers and it was big enough for me and my husband to share. Def get the taro chips on the side to eat with you poke ^_^ read more

Went on a Wednesday for their $1 oysters and it did not disappoint! Went around 5pm and it was not too crowded. Ordered at the cashier and in less than 10 minutes the food came out. All the oysters were fresh and delicious, with the exception of one of them that looked a little off. Overall really great value and I would definitely come back for this deal again! read more

I will never trust $1 oyster bars again. Came in because we keep seeing the reels. Sadly, the oysters we received were really gross. Slimy, milky and very fishy (probably in their spawning phase). Left a really bad taste in our mouths. Really disappointed. read more

oysters and beer hit the spot HARD after an intense workout. poke bowl was nice. not much protein.....small portions of hamachi and tuna. the taro chips with truffle aioli were nice. service is polite and the ambiance well lit and clean. oysters are only $1 each !! bargain for sure and super fresh. fanny bays when I went last Saturday. I kept getting ads about this place on my social media so I decided to check it out on a Wednesday afternoon I ordered about 5 dozen oysters and plus they were like $1 each I also ordered the truffle house chips while I snack on them while waiting for the raw oysters to arrive when they arrived smelled fresh and delicious! The one thing I didn't like was it had the small pieces of oyster shells in it but that wasn't the big deal at all the service there was great the guy made sure he had to check in the back if they had enough to prepare for 5 dozen oysters I will most likely come back here for the $1 oysters again they do it every Wednesday and Saturday all day. read more

My husband and I saw their happy hour sign from 3-6PM on a whim and had to check it out since it was 4PM and not crowded! We were intrigued to hear the $1.50 oysters! Original price is $3, so we had to try! We got half a dozen oysters (Fanny bay) and they were delicious!!! So worth it! The sauce with the oysters is almost a soy sauce? Maybe what they use with their poke. I would definitely come back to try other things on their menu. Street parking is limited but there is a parking garage just down the street. read more

Always a wonderful experience. I started coming here during and after the pandemic, and from my very first visit with my mom, I knew it had the potential to grow and branch out. I even thought it would be great to franchise someday--and I'm so happy to see it now has five locations across the Peninsula. The Happy Hour oysters here were amazing! This is one of the best places to get oysters that I have ever been to. I was surprised a poke place offered $1.50 oysters during Happy Hour. There is a paid parking lot across the street, but you can also pay to park on the street. The shop has cute decor and there's also a spot in the back to eat outside. What blew me away were all the sauces that came with the oysters. There were three different kinds, and they all tasted amazing with the fresh oysters. It also includes a lot of lemons. The poke bowl was also delicious. Plenty of toppings and sauces were bomb. Fish tastes fresh as well. Will definitely be back if I'm ever in the San Francisco area. read more

We also got their truffle poke which was delicious and the fish was so tender and melt in your mouth. We also got taro chips which we ended up with left overs and just munched on it while driving home. Such a good location too in the Burlingame downtown area. Will def be coming back. read more
**Delivery Review** We were craving poke for dinner and ordered from Grubhub delivery. Visually, small and regular bowl were very similar but you do get a lot more choices of protein in the regular bowl. Both very filling. One critique is I wished there was a little bit more sauce/aioli as we didn't taste much but they did include soy sauce packets which was nice. All ingredients were well portioned and tasted fresh. I came here for dinner yesterday and picked up 2 poke bowls. The size of the bowls were great, however the amount and quality of the actual fish was small and didn't seem fresh. They had a lot of options to pick from for the toppings including black tobiko and mango which was nice. I do like the taro chips and truffle sauce. I had the tuna, salmon, imitation crab meat on a glass noodle/kale mixed base. The quality of the fish and crab meat were disappointing. The crab meat was stringy and didn't have enough Mayo mixed in and the fish was not fresh. read more
