Good poke! The location is clean with good customer service. The poke itself was pretty fresh, the only caveat is that the salmon was very salty. All in all, I enjoyed the poke bowl and the service was great.

Door dash so we didn't even see the inside of the establishment, but I would like to try it in person some time. Was very efficient even with delivery. Delivered sooner than expected. On DD they had an offer on the chips and dip, but one get one free, so of course we ordered those. Chips were good, not as thin as we're used to but good nonetheless. I ordered the small BYO: rice, glass noodles, crab, tuna, scallions, mango, kimchee, pickled cucumber, and crispy onions, ponzu and original sauce, w spicy aioli top on the side. I know for sure I won't order the glass noodles- unless that's the only base I'm ordering. I didn't see fit mixing everything together, the noodles were cold and hard. The ponzu and original sauce were no where to be found so the proteins weren't flavored at all. The ratio of Kim chee and cucumbers overpowered everything. And as stated it says pickled cucumbers but they were just sliced cucumbers. D2 ordered the regular BYO bowl: rice, 2 portions of tuna, crab, tofu, cucumbers, edamame, and crispy onions w ponzu and original sauce w regular aioli top. Her proteins were lacking the ponzu and original sauce as well. She definitely liked hers. For the first time for us it far exceeded our expectations.

Yeah not a recommended location. I scheduled a pickup of 7 poke bowls a day in advance for pickup at 11:30am for a 12pm meeting. I arrived at 11:35am and check with the staff who tell me it's not quite ready. Ok, no problem. 11:45am rolls by and I'm getting nervous so I ask again. I was told other orders need to be prioritized first including someone else who had a large order. What does that even mean?! Why am I not a priority? 12:00pm. I check in again and she asks me to patient. I'm freaking late for my meeting! Be patient?! You're 30 minutes behind and haven't started my order! She asks if I want to cancel. No?! How will I even get replacement food this late?! 12:15pm. I am so upset by now and I think she can finally tell so I finally hear "make orders for Elaine". 3 people hustle and get it done in like 10 minutes. How hard would that have been 30 minutes ago?! Omg. 12:25pm. I'm out the door. Distraught. My meeting patrons are forgiving but I don't enjoy the poke one bit anymore.

Just ordered a poke bowl for dinner tonight through Uber Eats and drove there to pick it up. It was wrapped nicely in a plastic bag. When I got home to open it and eat it, I saw these tiny flies over the bowl, there was 4 in total as shown in the photos and I even took a video of them crawling around. I was afraid to eat the food with the bugs crawling around even thought it was outside the bowl. But knowing this is poke and raw, you don't know how sanitary the kitchen is. So I contacted Uber Eats for a refund since I was afraid to eat the bowl. I asked for a delivery fee waiver but they wouldn't do anything extra. I will not go back to this location.

Been a here a few times for their weekday happy hour for oysters and it's always delicious! They also have a good deal on drinks for HH, including beer on tap, wine by the glass or bottle, and sake. The Poké is pretty good here too but the oyster HH is what I keep coming back for.

The poke bowls are good here, it's one of my favorite poke spots. You can order on a kiosk or telling the workers what you want over a glass container. It was a little hard ordering over the glass but you just have to speak loud and clear. There is space for enjoying food inside and outside. The restaurant is in an awkward spot but it does have lots of parking. Almost hard to find if it's your first time. Definitely would recommend, I've attached my order below.

This location seems somewhat hidden to get to. It seems to be in the middle of hotels and high-rise businesses. I can see how this business along with a few on the block, likely cater to the Monday through Friday business crowd, and maybe the weekend visiting crowds.. Upon entering the restaurant, it appeared very clean and neat and one side is cashier/food preparation site. If you look to the left when you first enter, you will see a self serve, ordering kiosk. It's very easy to order. It's like looking at a huge iPad. For the first time it may take a little longer because you were reviewing all the items on the screen. But by my second time, it was easy to navigate. I have been here twice and have not been disappointed. The first time was enough to have my taste buds crave it. The second time I went, I brought a dining partner of which they ordered oysters, along with a poke bowl too. I do not eat oysters, so I am glad my dining partner could enjoy all the oysters to themselves. We came on the weekend and ordered a dozen oysters, but they ran out so we only got eight oysters (and since we paid at the kiosk, they offered to pick 2 beverages). I heard it was fresh tasting and yummy. They gave the chosen oysters a thumbs up. My poke bowl had a lot of different ingredients that I do not get here in the Silicon Valley or South Bay, so I definitely ordered the more unique items, but it was all good. I can remember I ordered shrimp tempura, glass noodles, truffle aioli, spicy shrimp, spicy tuna, and I think spicy crab at the very least. I also ordered the Taro chips but I think I won't order it again. It was just too hard, although pretty to look at it. Natures artwork is on the chip surface. I understand their other locations in the Bay Area so I would like to try Burlingame and San Mateo soon Highly recommended if you can get to South San Francisco. As you drive away in that area, you can drive over to oyster point harbor and enjoy your otder while you look over the San Francisco Bay.

Love the unique options here! Big fan of the Kale Mango Base and I appreciate that they weigh the protein because it provides consistancy in every bowl! They also have truffle aoli which is extremely delicious to add on top of your bowl. I would definitely recommend trying the taro chips, they're pretty good. Around noon they do get a lunch rush because it is conveniently located in Oyster Point, but if you go anytime before or after that you most likely won't catch a line.

Visited Truffle Poke Bar last week with my friend and I enjoyed it a lot! There's a good amount of parking in the area which I appreciate a lot. I went with the regular bowl and created my own! I like to load up on proteins, veggies and toppings usually. It's always nice to put what you want vs already set menu honestly. I mean don't get me wrong if you're unsure what you want then you can definitely just choose that preset one! All their dishes and ingredients are fresh and tasty! I appreciate how quickly everything in from the moment you walk in and out within minutes! Overall the poke was good but I don't think anything really stood out to me to be honest. Glad it's also close by my house so that's a plus.

I said I couldn't care less about their truffle aïoli, I'm not really a truffle person. But everything else that they have out there is good quality and flavorful. It's such a vibe that they also have beer on tap and alcohol at the restaurant don't really go in there to eat much but if I do, I'd rather spend it outside to enjoy the day. I love how they have the option of mangoes, I was really curious and it really enhances my whole poke experience. I also love their crispy onions. I wish they could give me so much more lol. Don't forget to order their taro chips! I use them as tortilla chips scooping out my food. My order : A small salmon and crab on sushi rice bowl. With house and Ponzu sauce, tobiko, edamame, mango, crispy onions, furikake, and there's probably more haha.

    Truffle Chips. (B)
    Jasmin C.

Fish is always very very fresh. Serving sizes are massive, even for a small bowl. Truffle chips are massive enough to be its own entree. Good variety of bases, proteins, add ins, and toppings. I wish the sauces had more flavor/saltiness; I don't really get an umami-ness from my order every time, and I come here quite often. Overall, I don't really dig the flavors of the overall bowl, wish they use more sauce or had more variety of sauces like an unagi sauce.

Ask the Community - Truffle Poké Bar

Do they have a gluten free soy option? Or is it possible to leave it out/choose some other gluten free sauce?

Yes, when I went they had one gluten free sauce option.

What is in the original sauce?

Low sodium soy sauce, sesame oil, light chili oil, ginger, miso Thanks for inquiring!

Is there real crab? I have a gluten allergy and I'm not sure if the crab has gluten because many imitation crab meats do

You order at the counter, grab any open table if you're dining in, and they'll call your name when your food is ready. There are several tables available for customers who want to eat there. The middle of the store has a nice selection of Hawaiian snacks to browse, while the refrigerator along the opposite wall is stocked with drinks and a few side dishes, including kimchi, available for purchase. On this visit, we ordered the Shoyu Ahi Bowl with greens, the Hawaiian Style Ahi Bowl with greens, and the Kalua Pork & Cabbage plate. The Kalua Pork & Cabbage was the standout. It came with macaroni salad and rice, the portion was generous, the pork was tender, and the cabbage was soft, well-seasoned, and tasty. The ahi itself had a great texture and tasted fresh. However, both the Shoyu Ahi and Hawaiian Style Ahi bowls were already well-marinated, and the greens were dressed with the same sweet soy based sauce. The combination made the bowls a bit too salty and sauce heavy, which overpowered the natural flavor of the fish. By the time we finished our bowls, we found ourselves reaching for coconut water to help balance the saltiness. Overall, we enjoyed our visit. The restaurant was clean, the staff was efficient, and the Kalua Pork & Cabbage was definitely worth ordering. I just wish the ahi bowls had a lighter touch with the sauce so the freshness of the fish could really shine. We'd be happy to come back and try some of the other menu items. :)

Their hot lunch boxes are not to be missed, including their selection of Musubi's on the right wall as you enter. Take a glance at the menu on the wall, put in your order, pay, and wait. There's some nice seating set up inside across the space. Otherwise seems like more take out. Lunch boxes come w/rice, Mac salad. Ordered to go: KAHLUA PORK - loved the smoky flavors, a tad dry but really appreciated it was not overly salty like a lot of Kahlua Pork offerings. The pickled onions was especially a nice touch and contrast to the smoky pork. The Mac salad was creamy, fresh but was missing something. I'd order this again for the Kahlua Pork and pickled onions alone. LOCO MOCO - ubiquitous beef patties, over rice, luscious gravy, topped with sunny side up eggs. With a recent boom in HK street food especially cha chaan teng (tea and meal eateries), I suggested meeting several friends for an early dinner here. This place has been here a while, before the ongoing trend emerged. I arranged a meetup with a peninsula friend to meet there for an early midweek dinner before 6 pm. They have a private parking lot so that was not an issue. Walking in, we noticed the order station and menu on the left (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=VXnwmT7l57Wujd4yMeyvlQ) and a cooking area to the right (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=h5fu-B6JPAxM-VFU_pDTYw). As we studied the menu, the discussion among us three was that we wanted to eat multiple menu items. After a few minutes, we ordered our meals one by one, adding two appetizers to share. After my friend first paid for our meal, he chose a table in the middle dining area. I noticed a water station near the cashier and brought three plastic cups for my friends and me. With this being a somewhat cafeteria style format, a gal brought our food a short time later. Here's what I tried: Appetizers, shared 1. Popcorn chicken (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=W18wgtSMHw0g-EqytrQpDA) - Very solid version as this came temperature hot. It was spot on crispy and the white pepper seasoning very true to the recipe. Nice that they provided skewer sticks and we ate barely half if this with the generous portion. 2. XO sauce mini rice noodles (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=uLIWGlflOZKINVlxMoS7PA) - For a mini, I was surprised with the food amount. Unlike dim sum house versions, the ingredients are not stir-fried and merely mixed with the sauce mostly on top with a soy sauce oil mix lining the bottom. It was tasty and a good-sized serving. Main 3. Beef stew wonton noodle soup (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=F8_RGDn1cEfD1emWUdaWvA) - I forget whether there were four or five relatively large wonton dumplings with the thinner chewy egg noodles here. The beef stew pieces were tender and seasoned well making for a tasty bowl. The bowl size that I thought was smaller actually held a good amount of food where I just had enough stomach space to finish it. There were plenty of white turnip pieces (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=-HvCGJqyvrNOKF7cgacOog). This is a hearty meal. When we arrived, there were only two tables of diners (couples) as we found our table. By the time we left, there were families and couples there and the dining room was about half full. There was a steady flow of takeout orders being picked up too. A family of three sat at a mah jong table (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=xGkgRuG-bFIBlDaHkUyszA) but merely to play with the tiles. With the recent gained popularity in mah jong events and the like, the theme here was ahead of its time. I will probably return with friends to try other menu items and perhaps save room for a drink or dessert too.
