    Great show!!
    Donna M.

We were a party of eight...a great time!! It was so much fun, the characters were fun AND funny and the musicians top notch. Piano player was killer! It wasn't interactive so much that you felt uncomfortable but you definitely felt like you were a part of this zany comedy. The food was delicious (oh so good truffles!) and the actors and all the staff were welcoming and sweet. Everyone did an amazing job -- even the waitstaff. Overall, a great night out!! Would highly recommend Truffles!

Ok, so despite the fact that my reservations were rescheduled to another day and left me and my fiancé with no plans for Valentine's Day .... we were accommodated and upgraded to a dinner on a Saturday night at a different venue location. Which in fact! Was a great dinner and night ! The kind lady who helped me set everything to our liking was very polite and kind enough to discount my bill for all the inconvenience. The show was fun and the food (stake) was delicious . After all , it was a great experience.

Campy good times! Excellent musicians, hilarious and charming cast. I had secured a couple discount tickets for the brunch show. (If you drink, for your wallet's sake, PRE GAME.) Cozy venue, good food, and nonstop silly fun. I still have the sexy "Rat a tat tat..." tune stuck in my head. I thought it might be a little more interactive, like a typical murder-mystery where the audience is assigned characters, but you need only relax and enjoy the puntastic commotion. Although you do have the chance to get into an all-out bidding war as the family auctions off their famous heirloom two-pound truffle.

After all of that, none of those stuff mattered. We were served a three course meal before the actual aerobics show happened, but they still had performers perform while we had our meals or a few drinks. I enjoyed their Crescent Dip, which is a hummus dip with whipped feta and comes with a massive chip. The Full Moon Rice I wasn't really a fan of. After those two, they came out with the entree, which they called Fire, Water, Earth; essentially beet, halibut, and short rib. These were alright, not amazing. The third and final course came during the intermission of the show, which was a bunch of dessert treats and they were delicious. The show itself was fantastic. It was more than just aerobics, has there are also singing, dancing, and violinist. You may get wet in the front so FYI. There's also some fire involved. Overall, a well put together show. I'd probably skip the food, but the drinks were great.

The show I saw had incredible performers and felt really happy to be attending. But this is where it fell apart. I have a great deal of empathy for waitstaff especially during this kind of cabaret show. I had gotten a last minute VIP ticket and ordered a drink - and was informed at the time I placed a drink that there was a $25 mimimumx which I knew about when I bought the ticket. The waitress who served us was unnecessarily rude sbout it: I went to order food but stopped at spending more because at that point, the fewer interactions with her the better. I don't know what to think - someone willing to spend more money and feeling reluctant to because of a rude waitress is a problem to the venue to fix.

My wife and I had a blast…read more Everything about the evening show (starting around 9 pm?) was excellent, but there is one thing I want to point out the most -- the extraordinary effort the comedy show host and all the comedians made that night. We made a spontaneous decision to attend the show because we heard someone walking around saying "Comedy show!" I'm not even sure it was someone from Comedy Village as we didn't get a good look at him in the crowded street, but we were looking for something to do next as we were wandering around aimlessly after watching a Broadway play ("Art" if you haven't seen it, is a must-see.) A comedy show sounded like a great idea as that's one of our favorite things to do when we're vacationing in other towns. Comedians can easily do a great job on nights when everything is going well -- the crowd is big, there's high-energy in the audience, etc. But you really learn about comedians' commitment to their craft when, for example, it's a federal holiday, and it's an unusually quiet night by NY standards, and it's cold and bitter outside. We were part of a tiny crowd that night and wouldn't have blamed the performers for phoning it in. But they didn't. The host was outstanding, and his energy set the stage and the tone for the night. He and the other comedians willed the audience to a great show. I was way more impressed by them under those circumstances than I would have been at a packed house on a more pleasant evening. Job well done! On top of that, the food was surprisingly good. Food typically isn't much to write home about at a comedy club, but everything we ordered came out hot and delicious. As a bit of a chicken wing snob myself, I also give two buffalo-sauce-drenched thumbs up to the wings. Last but not least, the service was excellent, too. Service at most restaurants today is, well, not great. But the service here walked that perfect balance between checking on us enough to make sure we had what we needed without being annoying. We're going to start heading up to New York much more often, and we'll absolutely return to Comedy Village!
