I have been going to Truly Massage for the last 3 years and can honestly say I haven't been able to find another place that gets rid of the aches and pains better! Everything written about Eileen in the other Yelp reviews is absolutely spot on. Recently, I had the opportunity to have Sarah work on me. I went in with pain in my neck, lower back, and legs. Sarah was able to target each problem area and, 90 minutes later, it was all gone! What I liked best is that fact that Sarah was able to pick up quickly on how much pressure caused discomfort, and so she would gradually work into the muscles to get the knots out rather than going full steam ahead and making me jump, cringe, scream, tap out, etc. :-) Bottom line is, whether it's Eileen or Sarah that works on you, you're going to get one of the best massages money can buy. First, I have to say, having someone at actually understands and speaks English is already a plus. Eileen was very professional, and found all my tight points without me having to tell her. Usually I have to ask the therapist to press harder, but in this case, I had to ask her to ease off...strong strong hands. Also, unlike other places I've gone to, she does not do the typical back to shoulders to to arms to legs type of massage. She will find all your tight spots and work them until released. As for the price, for that type of attention to detail, it cost the same as Massage Envy, which disappointed me on many occasions. This place is heaven. THE BEST!!!! Eileen is incredible. I told her recently that I was doing more biking and running and she did a complete work-over on my legs and calves. Two days later on my first bike ride after the massage, I was able to ride longer and at higher elevations in the fastest time yet. If you need someone who can turn on the deep pressure, she can accomodate that VERY EASILY! She's great and she even has real classical music playing instead of "Holistic Spa Sounds". Eileen is so professional. I came to her because I was having issues with my arm/shoulder. She really takes the time to work on the areas that needs to be worked on. She gives plenty of useful tips. Eileen is an amazing and message theropist. I have been seeing her over the last several years and she has helped me so much with the tight and painful shoulders I have from carrying heavy school books. She even helped me with my constant stiff and cramping calves. Let's just say that when I saw her I was a total mess and when she was done with me, I felt like I was standing taller and looser. Love this place. I've went twice and I had Eileen as my masseuse. She is very nice and friendly. She's good at focusing on the key sore areas and applying just the right amount of pressure. While on my back the massage is normally quiet and peaceful, then once I'm turned over she usually carries a nice conversation. I have been seeing Sarah every few weeks for the past several months for chronic pain from my work. I've also had a few other sports-related injuries along the way. My massage of choice is deep tissue and Sarah does not disappoint. If you're looking for a spa getaway, this may not the best fit for you. But if you are looking for serious body work, Sarah has great technique, abundant knowledge, and a great welcoming personality. She has also given me great suggestions for stretches I can do between massages to help loosen my tightest muscles. I was having lower back and was recommended via word of mouth to try Truly Massage. I called the number and spoke with Eileen who runs Truly Massage. Eileen was very professional and gave me plenty of appointment options. I scheduled an appointment for Saturday morning. Truly Massage is very easy to find and closely located to the Shops at Tanforan. There is plenty of free parking so I did not have to stress out about find a place to park or arriving at a very ridiculous time. Before starting my massage, Eileen asked me what areas of my body I was having issues with. She also asked if I conducted any recent activities and I mentioned that I had just played a round of golf a week earlier. The massage lasted an hour long and after I felt very loose. My back felt much better. Eileen provided me with a bottle of water and told me to drink plenty of water that day. I've had massages at various places and I have to say that at Truly Massage Eileen did not rush me through the process and I felt like she was really interested in my health.
