I have found the only nail salon I ever want to frequent ever again! We were able to get in same day and I requested a gel mani and pedi with French tips for myself and a classic set for my boyfriend, as well as a callus treatment. Andrew was friendly and the ladies servicing us, Jen and Annie, were meticulous but gentle. The salon was peaceful and we left feeling happy and relaxed. There are many nail salons through the area, but none have left me as satisfied and joyful about the environment, service, and results the way Trulycure has.

This is the 4th nail salon I've tried in the area and I'm so glad I found them. You can tell they take pride in customer service and perfectionism. Two rare and very important traits to find in beauty services these days. Techs are transparent with pricing and not pushy at all. So grateful! I found this studio last year and have been only going here to get my manis and pedis. It's a studio with two great artists. Its super clean and very conveniently located. I have been to many salons and nobody can compare to Andrew and Annie. They are so wonderful and attentive. I bring some crazy ideas to them and they somehow always make it come true. I wish I had better pictures of their work but sadly I just do be living in the moment and showing off my nails in real life. Always get compliments when I get my nails done here.

I FOUND MY NAIL SALON!!! I almost lost hope but I'm so glad I didn't because I cannot recommend this nail salon more. The best mani ive had. EVER! Andrew was so sweet, communicative, precise, and thoughtful. The salon itself is clean, elegant and I loved that it wasn't busy like almost all salons (as an anxious person it was so appreciated). I can't stop staring at my nails!!! The price was very reasonable and he made sure to let me know how much everything was throughout each step and asked me how I liked my nail design and if it needed adjusting to my liking which I've never experienced with other salons before. This is a fantastic shop in a great little area with lots of restaurants. I swim 3x/wk. This is the first place I've found that glues my Gel-X's on well enough to stay tight for 4+ weeks. Clean, friendly, efficient, pleasant, reasonable prices, fabulous. Love this place! read more

Nice experience. The vibe is nice. You get a complimentary drink. I got a gel mani + Pedi. The lady took her time and gave me a good looking set! Only thing is I'm clenching my muscles during the Pedi so I don't push her away! It wasn't as relaxing because of that. She also buffed my nails a little too much and I can bend my nails. Paid $95 which in my opinion was a tad overpriced. read more

I love the service here. I come for my pedis every few weeks and get the matte gel. I am well taken care of and appreciate their attention to detail and cleanliness. The owner is so nice and accommodating as I have walked in without an appoint and was able to be seen within a few minutes. Bonus is the location is convenient and close to home. read more

So I called to make an appointment with Andrew since I saw so many amazing reviews for him. When I got there Annie started on my nails and I thought she was just prepping my nails and andrew was going to do the remaining work. So I ask Annie after a while "are you prepping and then he's going to design? And she said no I'm going to do it all. Is that okay? I let her proceed because she was doing such a great job. Then Andrew begins doing a set on someone else?? And before I even started my nails I asked for the price since I had a picture of what I wanted. They said $110 for a full set and a pedicure. Then when I paid they said 115?? Annie did amazing however I will not be coming back out of principle. The price increase and not receiving the person I asked for to perform my service. If it was just Annie I'd give it a 5 star review but based on all the circumstances I will not be going back. read more

A great find! Winnie, my nail tech, has a very sweet disposition and was very attentive throughout my pedicure and manicure services. My toes and fingers look fantastic. The foot and hand massage were top notch and the chair was super comfy. I didn't take advantage but they offer a complimentary beverage with service (like a bottled water or coke). I've been consistently coming to Friendly Nails for the last few years. I usually call first thing…read morein the morning to check their availability for the same day & if it's too busy I'll ask to book an appointment for the next day or future date. All of the nail techs are great! I request for Cici when I want to do cat-eye or more simple gel manicures. If I want more artsy designs, I'll usually request for Ella or Karen. Gel manis are still $45, with full cat-eye adding an additional $15. Hand drawn art design nails may add between $4-6 per nail, depending on the design; while if you're okay with stickers, it may be $2-3/each. More intricate nail designs will require more time & cost more depending on what it is -- so I would inform them if this is something you want to do so they can allot the right amount of time for your booking. I typically spend about 1.5-2 hours to get my nails done (including removing the previous months' nails, nail trimming, shaping, cuticles, etc.) As stated before: Easy parking in the First St. structure behind the shop. Restroom available in the back of the store & always clean. They also do have bottled water, if needed.

Specifically, the pedicure did not include the essential steps of a foot scrub, a foot massage, or cuticle cleaning. These are standard components of the service I paid for, and their omission is why I felt the experience was unsatisfactory. Furthermore, my comments regarding the tip were not a reflection of a personal preference, but rather a reaction to the staff's persistent pressure. When service falls short of the expected standard, I believe a customer should be able to decline a gratuity without being pressured by staff to justify that decision. My goal in sharing this review was simply to provide honest feedback regarding my experience, and I stand by the account I provided.

Sadly, Superco and Ocean Star are both gone, but rising from the ashes is a bunch of fun stuff, like Smoking Tiger and this jumbo-sized nail salon next door, Magical Nails. Nothing too magical about it, but this busy salon has about 10,000 polish shades to choose from, and a printed menu with prices so you know what you're getting and how much it will be. All the salon chairs have the back massage function which kills two birds with one stone. Easy parking right in front, walk-ins welcome, and no waiting for your mani-pedi. I stuck my nose in to have a look, and was getting beautified just a few moments later. Minus one star for some unnecessary upselling, and a sour face from the greeter when I declined. But a free bottle of water cheered me up. Would I go back? Yes.

I am incredibly grateful to Trulycures for turning my Hello Kitty pamper party into an absolute dream! The space they provided was absolutely perfect, and my girls had an absolute blast. I discovered this place when I was walking by it from the parking garage one day. I peered inside and it looked so cute and I decided to make an appointment. I got my nails done and a pedicure and I must say it was probably the best experience I've had in LA since I moved here four years ago. The guy who did my nails did them absolutely perfect. I am always meticulous with how my nails look, and they're always messed up in someway like too thick too long the color doesn't extend to the sides. This guy spent so much time putting in detail into my nails. They look Pinterest worthy!. I got a pedicure gel French tip , (I'm fairly new to getting pedicures) and prior to this place I Had a bad experience at another place with it being unsanitary and messy job done , but here really showed me what great service is , its clean, everyone's friendly , and they did such a wonderful job on my feet. The salon was very clean and relaxing, and the staff was extremely kind and professional. My tech was so detail-oriented and made sure my pedicure came out perfect. We brought inspiration pictures and our nails came out pretty identical, they're so accommodating. I got my nails done with Annie! She did such a great job on my chrome nails. I'm writing this five weeks later and my chrome nails are still in great condition (see attached photo).
