Went for a night out with friends. Had a great time! Music was solid, we were able to dance. Spacing was great, although it was busy we weren't too crammed up. The drinks were definitely drinking(they pour them well). The patio is somewhat small, but enough room if you just want to catch some air. It's a good spot to go hang & dance. I'm a big Pitbull fan, so maybe next time I'll hear a song thrown on lol. There's a parking garage not far too.

Divey bars are full of charm and the one with strong inexpensive drinks definitely has it. Now one of the last bars on the Santa Monica Blvd all-inclusive bar crawl train, Trunks is the chill easy going, often seat filled yet easy to maneuver experience you need. The music is solid, the people are chatty and the bartenders are attentive. The have a front patio attached to the bar as well as one directly across it off the sidewalk before the main entrance with security. You can bring your outside drinks over to this area, but nowhere beyond. There is a dance floor that usually gets a little busy at night as opposed to during the afternoon and day. They show mostly sports or sporting events during the day on the many TVs they have here much like Gym Bar, now on the middle half of the gay bar scene (closer to Hi Tops and across from Beaches, Rocco's etc). Restrooms deep in the back with wall bench seating all along the right wall of the bar. It's a very mixed crowd though nostalgic to an older generation for sure. If you enjoy the comforts of dive chic then march your feet to the beat of this establishment during the week (or weekend). Trunks has the occasional event, usually during a holiday weekend and always the best prices around. Including happy hour from 1 - 8 pm during the weekdays.

Great little bar off of Santa Monica Blvd that has a no-frills happy hour from 1-8PM, Monday through Friday. What I loved was that there was a lot of outdoor seating, so regardless of your comfort level, you could still find an area that was far away from everyone while still being able to take in all magic that WeHo has around you, and still be able to social distance at the same time. There were quite a few people on a Tuesday afternoon, but our bartender Alexander was bopping around the whole place making sure that orders were being taken and drinks were being served. I went with his recommendation for the Trunks Mule which definitely hit the spot. Served in a copper cup, it wasn't super strong, but you could feel it, and it was quite refreshing on a muggy afternoon. First cocktail out since the pandemic and it didn't disappoint. I'll for sure be back for some coworking and just enjoying the outdoors again soon!

Mellow and laidback bar type of place. Definitely with the crowd that goes there as observed after a few visits within this last year. They do play some mainstream music as well as remixes of mainstream music. Their bartenders tend to dress dark clothing/garment and occasionally will go shirtless as the night progresses.

Best and hottest bartenders in west Hollywood. Top quality drinks for a very low price. And no attitude.

I would've preferred drinks on the sweeter side. I visited around 11pm on a Saturday and it was free cover. The interior was full of ornate decor and different areas to hangout/dance in. They have dancers all around the club you can give dollar bills to. All the people there seemed generally nice. I also liked the music selection played there as they played a lot of pop hits from early 2000s to present day. A solid club for a night out in WeHo.

The service is sensational and the drinks are gay bar standard with that little extra you just can't get at many other spots. Good patio space, upper deck area and room, though during pride, weekends, holidays and special occasions it is filled to the brim, like those great drink pours. The tunes are iconic. DJ Tony G drop keep dropping those beats!!! And they show music videos on their screens. And after nearly 50 years of success they continue to thrive 7 days a week from 3PM until 2AM It's all about the good vibes and good times... Some themed nights like their Bubble Pop, Caballero (no recordings or videos, just you) and Flashback Mondays. I don't believe they still have karaoke nights here, I could be wrong. Very limited seating with a chair here or there and some benches against the upper deck. Restrooms are gendered but move pretty quickly and are typically still clean. While WeHo is all forms of pup friendly. Our four legged friends aren't allowed for many reasons. There's absolutely zero room on busy nights and we wouldn't want them to hurt themselves or get hurt navigating through the day/afternoon or night here. Local street, garage and some lot parking available in the area, mostly metered, time restricted or paid, especially at night. It's also a LBGTQ+ friendly leather bar and happens to be one of the favorite spots of beloved Yelp SFV AMB Quintin. I stopped here on a whim with some friends on our way home from a night out. There is a big bar in the center if the room and a smaller bar out on the patio. There are also two pool tables and a stage for various events. Pool table was already utilized which seemed to always be the case. There were a couple of people inside along the bar area but majority was on the outdoor patio. It was somewhat busy but nothing compared to how this place can be. Especially when there's an event. Drinks are always a good price. We got a pitcher of beer which had a cooling pack inside. The question of the night was, will this thing take up the amount of glasses we could get out of the pitcher...lol... I've been a good amount of time but honestly don't know if they have a dance floor or not. We always spend time on the patio. There's 2 restroom, one with the toilet which the line can get crazy. Funnily enough, The Infatuation, of all resources, ranked this spot as the top gay bar among the twenty currently in business in WeHo. It's conveniently located a couple of blocks from Hamburger Mary's where we had reservations for the drag show. I know what you're thinking. So predictable. Anyway, we had time for a round before the show. The big black door did not give us an indication of what was inside, but the 1970's art deco font of the bar name did. Inside it felt more like a Studio 54-era lounge with a big rectangular bar in the middle. However, the owners managed to avert tackiness and provide comfy plushness. The period artwork, gray banquettes, and massive amoeba-shaped chandeliers add to the sophisticated ambiance. This was definitely not the typical WeHo club west of La Cienega. There's no dance floor, so you won't hear clunky platform shoes on a rainbow florescent floor. However, you'll likely hear classic Donna Summer or Earth, Wind & Fire wafting through the space.
