Subject: Overcharged for Minimal work and Issue Not resolved. 6-24-2025 We are very disappointed with our recent experience with Trusted Power Electric Co. We hired them for a new outdoor deck electrical installation. After then initial visit, we had to call them back because the power cut out. The electrician then informed us that the outdoor GFCI outlet needed to be replaced with a weatherproof unit. However they charged us ADDITIONAL two full hours of labor even though the REVISIT lasted no more than 15 minutes. To make matters worse, the issue still has NOT been properly resolved. The outdoor outlet continues to malfunction, and we are now left unsure whether the work was done correctly at all. read more

We hired TPE to make some small electrical updates to our home before listing it for sale. They're fast, high quality, a reasonable price, and awesome! I love the three new outdoor outlets they installed for me. Here's what I like, notably, what I think makes Trusted Power better than other electricians and contractors I've dealt with: * Abraham took my phone call right away, made it a Duo video call to look at my house for only 10 minutes, and then got back to me with a quote and scheduled me for only a week after the call! * Abraham kept me up-to-date over text about when his team would exactly come. I prefer plenty of texts and over-communication than never hearing from a contractor. * It took under 3 hours of work and the electricians wore masks * They cleaned up inside and outside, there were no conduits, the outlets are great, slim ones with expandable covers, Weather Resistant GFCI, and all wired right according to my Sperry tester. Sadly, for comparison, with other contractors, especially the very popular electricians, I get called back from my initial call maybe 25% of the time, need to meet in person (after a week) to have them take a look, told they can work on the project in a few months, leave me wondering if they still exist if I don't hear from them, and often delay work by weeks. I've had one contractor work on a GFCI outlet and switch the line and load, so it no longer worked, until I fixed it myself after he left. Last year in Oct 2022 I asked for 2- 20amp circuits installed from my garage into an upstairs closet for computer equipment (servers). They did a great job, and I wanted to write a review showing zero problems after a year. My 15amp bedroom breaker from the new house still wont let me run anything more than 10 amps. But not their fault, and I didn't ask them to troubleshoot my builder's mistake. I found Trusted Power electric via Yelp's multi-quote messaging. They had fair prices after a facetime virtual estimate session. I had them put in a 240v + subpanel in my garage to get ready for a mini split system in my home in Maple Valley, plus they were the only ones who were able to get my chandalier up a 24 ft stairwell. The thing I prioritize the most w/any service provider I hire is communication. I'm always understanding of when unexpected things happen, but it's how a company handles it is what matters. Abraham (owner of Trusted Power) is easily one of THE BEST communicators I have ever dealt with w/ projects on my home. The challenge that popped up was actually reaching the ceiling in my stairwell because it was so high, and the spiraling stair case didn't allow for any ladder to be placed safely. He apologized and communicated that this was unforseen, but promised to get it right and source the right scaffolding. It took a few days, but like promised, Abraham came back w/ all the equipment he needed and got my chandlier up. Every single day, he msged me with the latest status of where he was at w/o me having to reach out first. They put in used breakers, they put in a panel with not enough spaces so they couldn't wire the downstairs heaters, they told the tenants they tested the heaters and they worked, I told Abraham they didn't work and sent a manual for the heaters and told him of my suspicions, he went over and removed the heaters and tried to throw them away and said they were 110 volts when they were 220, I told him he was wrong, I had to go over there and buy peanut breakers in his small panel to make room for more breakers, I hooked the heaters to 220 and now they work, I am not an electrician. Also, things weren't labelled properly. I am disappointed by his lies. read more

Both our smoke detectors started chirping two days ago. After losing much sleep I used Yelp to find an electrician to fix these. Our bedroom thermostat was also not working for heat, so there was that, too, though not as urgent. I sent a general inquiry in Yelp and got back a few answers right away. Trusted Power was able to schedule the same day, and were even flexible with the time slot after I told them I had a meeting at that time and asked if they could push it out a bit. This was the weirdest experience ever. Kassidy responded quickly, but then things got problematic. The electrician, Roberto, did not get back to me at all the first day. Finally I got his direct number from Kassidy and called him. His estimate for the work (pulling 2 new circuits) was initially $500 each (Kassidy said he told her $450). Okay, I can live with that. But then when I tried to confirm the total cost, he said $800 each. He also offered to do this without charging tax, if I agreed we didn't need a formal inspection certificate for the new circuits. I replied (all this in text) to ask why the price had jumped. He said it would maybe go higher, depending on the distance - which I had already told him. But he could do $450 each if I bought all the materials. What??? A few feet of wire is going to save me hundreds of dollars? This makes no sense. So then I went back to Kassidy to highlight the confusion, and she told me to call a competitor!!! These guys seem disorganized and sketchy. Would not hire. read more

We bought a couple of bidets and naively thought they didn't require that much power and thought we could tap into some existing circuits. After talking with Trusted Power, a half dozen other companies, and doing our own research (and calculations) we realized we needed dedicated circuits to prevent numerous breaker trips. We talked with multiple companies and received multiple quotes and went with Trusted Power. We chose them for their reputation, strong communication and well priced quote. Abraham came by for their quote and walked us through everything and was very thorough. He also tried to find alternative and potentially cheaper methods to wire (tapping into and upgrading some existing bathroom circuits, which wouldn't work in our case). Abraham and Trusted Power were phenomenal in their communication, work quality and timeliness. They got us into their schedule, arrived promptly and worked very hard and fast to finish. They installed two dedicated 20A circuits and ran wiring to two different bathrooms (one they ran wire in the garage and into the crawl space, while the other required going outside and up into the attic to reach a second floor bathroom).
