5/5 For price 3.5/5 For sushi quality 4/5 For service First of all, a lot of people complain that the quality of the sushi is not very good. ESPECIALLY when they order the happy hour rolls which are SUCH A GREAT DEAL. $3-5 for a baked salmon roll? That's pretty darn good. Yes, they do drizzle a lot of sauce on it to compensate for the fish quality, but I mean it's not that terrible. My girlfriend and I come here at least once every two weeks, and they're very accommodating for us. I noticed that one other reviewer said that they tend to cater to parties of 2 and 4. As a regular, I can vouch for that. When I come here with my girlfriend, we usually sit at the bar, and there's pretty much no wait. However, one night we decided to bring along her family, bringing the total amount of people to 5. The wait was a little longer, but it was still only like 10 minutes. Big party? Think twice. The third time we brought in a big party, we brought my family and my girlfriend's to have a nice big family dinner. The total party size was 9. Now I don't completely blame them for taking a while, because their restaurant simply isn't equipped to handle big parties unless it's almost dead empty inside. However, they still managed to seat us in about 20 minutes. For many impatient people, this is too much. But both of our families are very patient so this wasn't too much of a problem. A few weeks later, we brought some uncles and aunts, as well as my grandparents along for a total party of 11. The guy who was doing seating literally said "11???" As his eyebrows raised pretty high. I'm pretty sure they don't get big parties very often. As it was a semi-busy night, it was hard for them to put all of us together, and asked if it was okay if we split up our party in order to be seated faster. We thought we'd rather sit together, and decided to wait. 20 minutes later, my grandparents were getting antsy, so we asked if there was any other way for us to sit faster. "Would you like to sit outside? There's nobody out there." WAIT WHAT. Why wouldn't you at least tell us that? I mean sure it's night time and they don't have heaters out there but I'd at least have liked to have the option of sitting outside to take into account. But anyways, we said yes, so we walked outside to the outdoor seating. It's small. It's rectangular, and its width only fits two square tables, with room in between to fit the waiters. The waitress helped us move around the tables to accommodate our huge party and although it was a tight squeeze, we managed to fit everyone. By the end of the night, the uncles and aunts were all raving about how great a deal the happy hour special is, and didn't even care about the wait or anything. All in all, the service is good at least 75% of the time, 80% if you have a smaller party of 1 or 2. Will continue to come here! Hopefully they do well and can increase the quality of their sushi, but I still think it's great for the price you're paying! read more

Let me preface by saying I love their sushi, and their prices can't be beat. But the staff is rude. Just left, when I walked in I asked if the Jalapeño Bomb we half off, the waitress said yes. So I ordered it, when I left they charged me full price for it, I said to the lady that the other waitress said it was half off, she said no it's not. I told her the only reason I ordered it was because she said it was half off. She proceeded to call the other waitress then shoved the phone in my face! Like I'm going to get on the phone and argue with her?! Just paid and left. I've been in the restaurant industry for 15 years and I hate petty yelpers who just complain to complain, but this was shocking to me. I won't return, I don't care how good your sushi or your prices are, there's never any reason for you to treat someone like that. If your reading this, your rude and you should know, I will let everyone I know how rude you are. And if ever asked while I'm at work, as a restaurant manager, to suggest a good sushi place, your name will never come out of my mouth. Two stars because the sushi is really great and inexpensive during happy hour. However the service is just awful. The waiters and consistently rude to my friend and I. We tried to tell the man at the sushi bar what we wanted and he shook is finger no at us and yelled over us to one of the servers. They handed us two giant pieces of paper so that we could write a number 1 next to crunchy roll and hand to the man behind the sushi bar. Its such a waste of paper and i dont see why we cant just say "two crunchy rolls please". Afterwards we tried to pay are separate tabs with our debit cards, which were a little under $7. The waitress proceeded to shout at us that we had to pay in cash. There are no sign that say this! She insisted that one of us pick up both checks and work it out with each other later, which is just rude and inconvenient. After all that we didn't feel like tipping. So then another server yelled at us that tipping was mandatory. As we tried to explain our reason for not tipping, he cut us off and said we have to tip next time. Rude all around! read more

I truly enjoy the quality of sushi they provide. It is the best quality sushi you can get with what you pay. Their price is competitive with pre-made sushi & rolls you find inside of the supermarket. But it is freshly made here. They don't really have the great service but you get what you paid for. You can't expect to have a service that is comparable with when you pay $20 per rolls when you are only paying $10. I don't understand why the people complaining when they are paying less than McDonalds. At least they are serving you, unlike many Poke places or fast food chains. I love their Baked Salmon Roll and Crunch Roll. The foods come out rather fast, and the quality of rolls and sushi are always so good. read more

They are very friendly and efficient and always greet you. Their sushi is incredibly fresh and the prices are OUTSTANDING! The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they still have some kinks to work out. For example, my boyfriend and I have been in there for dinner multiple times and usually they are perfect but on more then one occasion they have forgotten to put in some of our rolls. Another time we went with a group of people(8+) and they didn't know who ordered what rolls as well as forgot to bring us some. They are very nice about it but it is a recurring thing that should be fixed in order for them to have a 5 star review. read more

Of all the 34 years of my life, this is the best sushi place i ever have so far. Me and my friends got spice tuna roll, salmon kama, yellow tail sushi, salmon sushi, dragon roll and albacore sashimi! And we were very impressed and amazed!! They also have really good service here. The chef is really good. But waitress is little slow tho.. i like the guy server who is tall and skinny. I forgot the name.. sorry. But there is only one tall guy server working there. Everytime i go there, he helped me get good food and was being honest about food. Overall i really recommend this place to anyone and i am definitely returning in the future. read more

Happy hour from lunch time until close and on the weekends I am in! Came here for lunch on Saturday. Cool decor, love all the big led LCD screens. Maybe this is the place I will be at during baseball postseason instead of Yardhouse. All of the sushi I ordered came out pretty and tasty. We ordered Dragon Roll, Rainbow Roll, Baked Scallop, Spider Roll, Salmon sushi, Yellowtail Sushi, and Tuna sushi. It sounds a lot because it was a lot. Couldn't even get past the front door they are so unorganized people. One couple in front of us told they been standing there for 10 minutes and still no one had come up to them and when finally did took someone else behind us to sit down that had no reservation so those people left and we followed.. Get more people to help out and run this place better I might come back. People sitting already look frustrated as they weren't getting help and complaining. I've been coming to this sushi spot next to my work for the past two years, and it never disappoints. The service is consistently 10/10, and the staff are so nice and friendly. Tonight, I came here with my friend, and Eurie made the experience absolutely amazing! She was so attentive, kind, and genuinely lovely, making sure we had a great time. The sushi was fresh and delicious, and Eurie's great service made it amazing. I've been to this place a few times at other people's request and every time it's been a less than pleasurable experience. The wait staff seems they have better things to do than take your order, the traditional rolls I've ordered are always covered in this sauce that tastes like Italian dressing (even though the description doesn't mention a sauce at all), and the prices are a bit high when compared to other sushi establishments. Terrible service. They take forever to take your orders busy or not busy. I left a small tip because I had not brought enough cash with me. One of the servers chased me down asking if I had forgotten to leave the tip because that was not even 10% of what I had spent. He should have considered himself lucky I left a tip even though I had to get up from my Table to go look for Someone to give me a Plate. Smh so rude and disrespectful. Food was good but small, they put a lower price for less pcs so it's the same, service ok, and the ambiance was very good, the only real problem is when you're a dasher or deliver food, they're rude with you and sometimes, they just don't care to you or the order and ignore you. It's close where i live, so i always come here when i want to eat some Tempura Udon or some sashimies. It's surprisingly very fresh and gives out " japanese restaurant " feel.. Price are similar to other sushi restaurant. Good service! ( Nice korean waiters ) I've never tried this place when it was very busy. Will be back again next friday. This is truly the best sushi i have ever had. The fish is always fresh, and never disappoints. The service can be spotty (hence the 4 stars and not 5) - but only when they are extremely busy. For example, we had ordered a baked roll once when it was really busy, and they forgot to put the order in, so we ended up cancelling it. Usually a great experience, quick and easy weekend dinner out. Highly recommend. read more

This place is great! Happy Hour all day long and the quality of sushi is very good for what you pay. The sushi chefs are very friendly and like to joke around (ladies beware). i swear i just hate this place and their customer service. i love the sushi but their customer service is THE WORST IN THE TRISTATE AREA!!!! i don't know why the owners don't hire nicer people to serve the guests and it would be the best joint in town.
