My friend was in town and mentioned that she wanted to try this place out. So I said Sure, why not? We just saw Beyoncé the night before, the weather was nice, and who doesn't love a good black-owned brunch spot! Well, against one of my friends' advice, my out-of-towner and I made the drive, found a parking lot that offers validation, and were greeted at the door by the sounds of a live DJ at around 4:10 PM. They close at 5 PM on Saturdays, but the staff was welcoming, and the manager moved pretty quickly to get us seated. Okay, so we're off to a good start, right? Wait, hold my beer ... Our server immediately informed us that they were out of grits. No biggie, it's now closer to 5 PM, so we understood that pickings could be slim, we're not the kind of people who complain about everything - we moved on. My friend ordered Granny's Fried Chicken dinner, and I got the fried pork chop dinner, where we both ordered 2 sides: collard greens, breakfast potatoes, mac & cheese, and sweet potatoes. Now this is where the roller coaster took a dip for no reason. Still, hold my beer! The dishes come out, and everything looks good. The first thing I taste is my breakfast potatoes - SALTY! So I think to myself, well maybe they got a spoonful that had more seasoning than the others, let me try again - STILL SALTY! I take a forkful of the greens - SALTY! Now, at this point, I'm wondering if I have a low salt tolerance, and I ask my friend how her greens were. Her first taste, she said, they were ok, but the more she ate, the saltier they became. I tasted hers, and she tasted mine - IT'S A SALT LICK on a plate! The pork chop was fried and covered in a lot of batter, so much so that I had to peel some off to get to the actual meat. The batter was salty, but the meat was SLAMMIN! It was tender and well seasoned (as it should be since it was coated in salt). My friend's chicken lacked flavor, but the frying on it was borderline salty, and the same goes for the mac & cheese! Both were pretty flavorless, so I guess the salt was meant to be the main source of flavor. At one point, the manager comes to check on us, and we let him know that the greens are SUPER salty. He looks and says, "Ohhhhhh NOOOOOOO, don't say that," and says he'll go check on it. This man NEVER returned! Our server comes to check on us, so we air our grievances with her - we were served SALT LICK ON A PLATTER, where I only ate one of my chops, and the biscuit. Both of my sides were hardly touched. She apologizes and speaks with the manager, only to return saying there's nothing they can do, and proceeds to place out tickets on the table. Okay, let me have a swig of my beer, because this is the part of the ride at the amusement park that just goes off the rails. I tell the server that being told there's nothing that can be done is unacceptable when I've only eaten 10% of the meal, with the rest being inedible. I asked to speak to the manager myself, and here comes this chick who told us, "I understand what you're saying, but everyone's tastes are different (meaning taste buds can vary). I explain that my friend and I are not the same, so for both of us to detect over-salted food, it should tell you something. The manager goes on to say, "I can't comp the whole ticket, but I can give you a LITTLE discount on it." I ask how much of a discount? She says 15%!!!! For real, let me finish this beer, because now I'm insulted by her offering to comp the sales tax! I look at her in disbelief and say, "You won't EVERRRRRRR have to worry about me returning, because the food sucks and so does the customer service! So she corrected my ticket, and sure enough, there was $3 discount. HA! Our server was VERY apologetic, and we understand it wasn't her fault, but since she's the face we see throughout our experience, it does make her look bad when management won't even make it right for something they know they were in the wrong. It was said that the seasoning could have settled by the end of the day, but now you're telling on yourself, because you admitted you're serving stale food. Either you keep fresh food ready, or you have a cutoff for when certain items are served if they're not up to standard. FYI, 18% gratuity is already calculated in your total, so that eliminated me having to overcompensate our server who was just doing her job. I find it very suspect how we were welcomed with open arms, but staff could give a monkey's right paw about our dining experience as long I find it very s.as they collected their money! I hate to say this, but this is part of the problem we have with black owned establishments. Their primary concern is quantity over quality, and it's sad because I want to support, but they make it extremely hard to do. I know they have several locations around the Atlanta Metro, but this is a TERRIBLE representation of the brand, so I do hope the management/owner sees this and makes the necessary adjustments/corrections for all locations. read more

Visiting the area for work and T's was close to my hotel. Took a look at the reviews as well as their IG page and I was sold. The food and atmosphere was perfect. Being able to jam to the music you love hearing on a regular basis and eating, chef's kiss. Our server was awesome and made sure my son was accommodated even though he wouldn't be eating. My husband and I had a really hard time choosing what to pick, because EVERYTHING looked so good. He ultimately settled on the French toast chicken sandwich and I got the The Marta (Jumbo Shirmp, catfish filet, grits, and strawberry waffle). The first thing I appreciated about this place is that it had a homely feel that is uncommon with many brunch restaurants in Atlanta. Don't get me wrong, I love music and enjoy a lively atmosphere, however, I like to enjoy my food and conversation if with company. This was definitely mellow and enjoyable. The omelette are their staple as well as standard breakfast meals with pancake, sausage and eggs. The sausage is the country style thick Rogerwood sausage. The pancakes were fluffy. I did have a busicuit as well but it was undercooked. The star of the show was the Oxtail omelette. This omelette was amazing and the oxtail itself was well seasoned. Very impressed. The portion size was pretty good too. The drink I had was like a Horchata style drink. It was kinda watery but not terrible. One of my guests ordered an espresso martini and said it was great. We dined there yesterday for lunch. My business partner had praised it, having gone once earlier this year. I was excited to try it because I had seen other mentions of it. THE GOOD: They have a connected parking garage in the building, which is great for that area. Even with a validated ticket, we had to pay $14 to get out of the garage. Not quite sure why that was the case. The restaurant has a nice and welcoming decor that matches the breakfast and brunch theme. The other customers seemed to have pleasant experiences. The biscuits were top tier. I enjoyed the music playing throughout the establishment. THE BAD: My friend ordered chicken and waffles with a red velvet waffle. She asked if they had cream cheese for the top and was told they had none. Yet, right after she finished, someone at the next table was served one with cream cheese on top. As someone stated in an earlier review, both the collard greens and oxtails were too salty. They need to adjust the light timer in the ladies room. By the time you get into a stall good, you find yourself in complete darkness and have to guide yourself out to get it back on. Easy fix! THE UGLY: It took more than 20 minutes before our waitress took our drink orders and at least 30 to take our food orders. Luckily, we were not in a rush but for those who were, it was ridiculous. I ordered a fried pork chop entree and was informed the cook had dropped one of them so they had to start over. Both of them were overcooked and tough to chew. I had asked if they were tender because I currently have a broken arm and cannot cut food. I am typing this review with one finger. Our waitress never asked if we needed additional drinks and spent a lot of time socializing with others. The other servers were moving swiftly and efficiently and I wanted to ask one of them if he could be ours. The most ridiculous thing is that they "don't have tap water" so their small, branded bottles of water cost more than $6 each including tax and the mandatory 18% gratuity on all checks. - The area is nice and I found a paid parking spot. I spent $15 dollars to park. I had a 10a reservation on Saturday. Very nice atmosphere. The music was playing softly in the back not too loud which is perfect to have conversations with others. They have a bar area where you could sit and watch TV. So I was not paying attention to what they were discussing. When it was my time to order, I asked the server the flavors of waffles they had. She looked at me like she did not want to repeat herself, and she said dag you was not listening to what I told her. I said no I was not. That was just a rude response to a customer because you didn't want to have to repeat yourself. The food took about 25-30 mins (which is on the slower side compared to the many restaurants I've been to). She (the server) brought out the food, parts of the order was wrong and had to be taken back. My friend also specified fried hard chicken. She bit into one piece of chicken and it was soft. She clearly touched the food. The server took back the chicken and re fried the same chicken. Now I know that once food reaches the table it should not go back to the kitchen to be mixed with fresh food. If something is not right the restaurant makes it over again fresh. We were definitely concerned about food safety issues. She decided not to eat the chicken because of that concern. The food was good! Most of the food was average priced compared to eating at other places similar in Atlanta. They do add a 20 percent gratuity to all checks. We've lost another great brunch spot . Today is my birthday and I decided to come here for Brunch with my family that came in town. Food: Everything was greasy. I order the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. Their was so much grease that the bottoms and the greens they came with were drenched. I chose not to order any more food after it took about 40 minutes for a manage to come over and then told me "oh we don't refund food" though it's not on the menus or posted anywhere in the establishment. I ordered an orange juice that came in a cup that was so sticky and dirty, I didnt bother to drink it. Service: service was slow to start but once we got a waiter he was decent. When they sat us the tables and the chairs were dirty, we had to get the waiter to bring a towel to wipe them both down. Ambiance: okay, it is a big place but it's not "clean" how you would expect a restaurant to be. They now have a DJ, though people were waiting long waits just to be seated. I visited T's Brunch Bar on yesterday 3/17 at 1230 pm and had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever encountered. A staff member named Pam was extremely rude, dismissive, and disrespectful from the moment I interacted with her. Instead of providing basic hospitality, she made me feel unwelcome as a paying customer. When I expressed concern about her behavior, her shocking response was, " If you don't like how I am, you don't have to come back." This type of comment is completely unprofessional and shows a total lack of regard for customers. Because of this experience I will not recommend T's Brunch Bar to anyone, especially as long as Pam G is employed as a bartender/ server. No customer should ever be treated this way, regardless of the situation. Management need to address this immediately if they care about maintaining the restaurant's reputation and customer loyalty. Pam is a disrespectful bully, not just to customers but to fellow employees! She cusses at the employees and threatens them. This person is not what you need in your restaurant. read more

Service was very slow. Prices were high, but understandable in a downtown area. The prices were higher than we expected approaching $40 for some entries I wanted to try. Quality of the food was mediocre. We arrived at 2 pm and they close at 3. Even so we're ere surprised that they refused me a second cup of coffee, being told I'd have to come back tomorrow since they had run out. There were still customers coming in and being seated. How much trouble to put on another pot of coffee? We wanted this place to be good. Maybe we just got them on a bad day. Oh, my wife's fries were heavily seasoned. It should have said something on the menu or at least a mention from our server. We had to ask for napkins twice. My wife's burger wasn't very good. My Mama's pancakes were okay, but a bit dry. The service was slow. I didn't notice it at first, but they add an 18% gratuity to every check. They advertise a DJ but none was in evidence the day we were there. The menu is extensive and takes a while to get through. There is a QR code to access it. Both of our phones crashed several times try to page through it all. No paper menus were offered. Not sure what they were going for with the decor. I doubt we'll return anytime soon. Somehow a bar at a brunch place just sends the wrong message. Better food would help. read more

I really wanted to like this place, but the experience was extremely frustrating. We made an online reservation for a party of 10 at 2:00 PM and still were not seated until around 3:15 PM. I completely understand a restaurant being busy, especially for brunch, but a reservation should actually mean something. After waiting over an hour past our reserved time with very little communication, I finally had to speak with the manager myself. The explanation we were given was that they can't control the amount of walk-ins. Respectfully, that defeats the entire purpose of offering reservations in advance, especially for larger groups who plan ahead. This was also my dad's birthday and our family's first time visiting, which made the situation even more disappointing. Once we were seated, the drinks took a long time to come out and the food was just okay -- not bad, but definitely not worth the wait or the prices. The atmosphere is energetic and the music was good, but it was very loud and felt more like a daytime club/day party than a brunch spot. I would not recommend this as a family-friendly place or for anyone bringing kids. We also paid $16 for parking, and after the long wait, automatic gratuity, and overall experience, some kind of accommodation like parking validation would have gone a long way. Overall the place feels very overhyped. Nice concept, but poor reservation management. Unfortunately, this was not a good first impression and I would not return. read more

This spot is an absolute must visit in Atlanta. I was on the hunt for the greatest vibes and hangout for my 30th birthday. The staff was so overwhelmingly kind and accommodating. They kept the drinks flowing and wanted us to try everything. The Dj was great and had people up and moving, dancing and shaking. The staff celebrated my birthday in a big way leaving a lasting memory. The food was excellent.
