I am team coffee all the way. I very rarely drink tea. I have been craving mango everything this hot summer, and the pictures of the various iced mango milk tea drinks drew me in. Somehow I left with a non-mango drink, but it was a game time decision to try the weekly special - taro coconut twist. I wasn't sure at first, but it grew on me. Very cold, mild nutty flavor of taro, sweet and icy. Staff was polite and efficient. Shop is clean and quiet. Maybe too quiet? I think some music would liven it up. I was looking for coffee bubble tea, which I know is a contradiction, but that's what I was craving so I did a yelp search for bubble tea and this was the closest place so off I went Finding it was really easy and has a dedicated a lot with lots of parking. I parked right in front of the store. I like that. They have a little sign out front showing their top 10 flavors that was helpful. I came inside and I asked do you have coffee, milk tea? No, they do not. Well, that kind of stopped me in my tracks and so I needed assistance which the employee was happy to help me with. I ended up ordering an earl Grey with Boba I've never had one of these made with Earl Grey... I have to say it was delicious. The bubble was pretty fresh and plentiful. It's kinda hungry so I got a waffle. I've never had one of those either. I mean I've had waffles but American waffles that you put syrup on. I've never had one that you just like eat in a bag. Why have I not had one before??? This was delicious!! I almost wish that I hadn't noticed these as these This could be addictive even more than the bubble tea. I'm obsessed with their durian mango smoothie! I get 70% but could probably go less. It's creamy and sweet and refreshing with a good amount of mango bits without having to add extra toppings. My partner thinks it has a normal durian stink, but I personally don't think it's bad or strong at all. (Not Tsaocaa's fault if it is; that's just durian lol.) I haven't loved the other couple drinks I've tried (especially the dragonfruit), but I'm happy just getting mango durian drink every time. Which is saying a lot, because I usually enjoy trying new things every time I go out. The service is good and fast. The interior has some cute gacha games. They're like impossible to win... for me at least. But very cute. read more

I've had Tsaocaa before in Cincy so I was glad to see that they're now in town. I came by in the afternoon and they were BUSY. They had just opened a week ago. Not a lot of customers inside, just a handful. But we waited a while for our drinks. About 15-20 minutes. They also had online orders it seemed. Good business so far! More people kept coming in to order! I'm not sure what I got. Some kind of fruit tea with cheese cream. It was refreshing! Parking isn't too bad. They're next to Jets Pizza and a few other restaurants but during the day, there are lots of spots. read more

Tsaocaa/Tsaocha just opened in Columbus and they are offering buy one get one 50% off drinks until 2/9 to celebrate! Even more of a reason to try their many drinks. They had so many options ranging from fruit to milk teas and even have egg waffles if you are hungry The electronic kiosk made ordering simple although there is only one so you do have to wait if there are a lot of people. Their decor was very simple yet clean, with white walls and wood accents. I also thought the logo was very cute! I tried the taro milk tea with milk cap. It came with tapioca pearls (which I didn't know so I selected pearls and got double the amount; the amber pearls are their tapioca bubbles) The pearl consistency was a little uneven but were still pretty good- it could also be bc they were so busy today. The taro flavor was strong and it was very creamy which I liked! It also came with sweet rice inside so this was a drink that was filling. I got 30% sweetness and it was still on the sweeter side for my taste. They have a few tables indoors with comfy seats. I'll definitely be back to try more of their drinks! read more

I'm always happy to see new boba shops pop up in Columbus cause it means I can get my fix and find one that I enjoy. Tsaocaa is the newest edition of chain boba shops out in the northwest/UA unofficial Asian area. Its a small shop but has a few tables and 2 self order machines. Menu has a variety of regular teas, fruit teas, milk teas, and various slushes/milks. They also have hong kong egg waffles. I have so far tried the rose milk tea with boba and the passionate pineapple tea. The rose milk tea is a good balance, not overly floral so doesn't come off as potpourri. The passionfruit drinks seem to have actual passionfruit seeds which I enjoy for the crunch. Both were tasty and reasonably priced (given current state of inflation). I will say, at 50% sugar it was still a tad sweet for me but that's definitely personal preference. Happy that a new boba shop opened up so close to me and I'll def be back, esp as I can walk right on over. read more

I love TsaoCaa and am so happy to now have one in Columbus! The owner of this location and the staff here are all so friendly and nice. The inside of the cafe is cute and homey. I can see myself studying here as the ambiance itself is quiet and calm. It was my first time trying their egg waffle and it was so good! The drinks were great because they weren't too sweet after adjusting the sugar levels. I think they shine with their fruit teas and drinks (like omg the mango pomelo sago is one of my favorites!), so make sure to try some next time! read more

I'm excited to have another "bubble tea" added to our list of go-to places in Columbus! Although I wouldn't call this a bubble tea shop, IMO, it has an amazing selection of flavored teas to choose from. Keeping it short and simple, here's our review: Great location. However, turning into from the opposite side of the street can be a little challenging during busier hours. Customer service can use a little working on. Our first time there, when it first opened up, you can tell the two girls working at the time weren't comfortable with the process just yet. It has since improved slightly since we've gone back a few times after. Overall, it still has room to improve. Flavored tea seemed to be the way to go here. As a peach lover, I'm in love with the Peachy Crystal Tea slush and the Peach Mojito with added peach pearls. The wife and kids love the Lychee versions of the two. Seating was a little tight, but there was enough room for a family of 4 to sit, wait and drink. Prices are as expected for a bubble tea shop. read more

Cool little boba shop. They have chow now order kiosks. You walk in, order, then wait. I recommend ordering on the app if you have it to save time. They have a BOGO deal for a while so I got two drinks. The peach white tea was ridiculously sweet. It tasted like pure sugar. Not for me. I did enjoy the strawberry smoothie with foam. This was more my speed. The waffle was good too. I will definitely go back. I'll have to do some research on whats good here first. read more

Have mixed feelings about this one. I tried both the King of Oolong Tea with Tapioca boba and Double Purple Bliss. Both tasted good. I absolutely LOVE that you can smell and taste the fragrance of the tea for both drinks. However, the tapioca boba for both the drinks were hard. Either they weren't cooked all the way through or they got hard after cooking. I will say that we got there within an hour of closing. However, proximity to closing times should not be a factor in quality. The atmosphere and friendliness of staff were great. read more

I always try out a new bubble tea shop. This was not the best that I have tried. The large was only .50 cents more and was quite a bit larger than the regular size. I don't think they knew how to adjust for the larger size. I ordered the Jasmine and original milk tea and both tasted like creamer. They may have only used the serving size of the original for the tea portion and filled the rest with creamer. My favorite is Thai tea and they don't have that on the menu. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but probably won't go back. read more
