Came here for lunch in a Saturday (Jul 11). It a cute small quaint place. Their decor is very Filipino with lots of wooden plates etc. I ordered a combination lechon silog and chicken sisig. I also ordered lumpia Shanghai. I took a picture of their menu. I got a calamansi juice as well. Overall the food was good. I would have liked my lechon kawali with crispy skin rather than chewy. It also had thick fat between skin and meat. Lumpia was well done. They make their own vinegar which they offered me. I sat on the bar and it was great.

I love breakfast so This is heaven when one can have breakfast Silog all day! You're greeted and welcomed by Teresa upon entering their cool, calming beautifully decorated interior. There are seatings of two, fours and few larger grouped seating. As well as singles at the bar. The bar does look inviting! Once seated, Teresa brought a menu over, let me know that ordering is done and paid at the counter once you decide on your meal. There's a self-service standalone water station, with additional hot sauces, and such. Ordered: LECHON KAWALI SILOG, crispy pork belly w/liver sauce on the side. But quickly made it a combo when Teresa pointed out I could add another protein for $3.99, adding CHICKEN SISIG, chicken seasoned w/lemon, soy sauce, onion, tiny bit of jalapeño heat on a sizzling platter. So excited about my combo Silog, I forgot to add an extra egg to my order!!! Bummer, next time... Loved the crispy pork belly, hot, yet moist and tender inside! The Lechon liver sauce, pork liver seasoned w/vinegar and spices, was a first for me. Not for everyone if you don't like liver but I do. What really blew me away was their table side house condiment bottle of vinegar seasoning! LUMPIA SHANGHAI, cigar-shaped fried goodness of pork, accompanied by a house chile sauce. I will always order Lumpia Shanghai when I see it in the menu but was very pleased to see a VEGETABLE LUMPIA. Definitely will order that next visit!
Wow! I have had such low expectations for Filipino restaurants in the Bay Area for decades. There are only a handful of Filipino restaurants in the Bay Area that I would visit more than once. My sister recommended this restaurant, but I'm so picky that it's hard for me to like certain foods. I met up with my family at Tselogs. They were known for their chicken sea, but since this was my very first visit to the restaurant, I wanted to have a bangsilog as a benchmark. When the fish arrived, it was not very greasy which was fantastic. More than anything else, the customer service was above par. They treated my family and my child with respect and friendly, inviting smiles. I can't wait to return! This restaurant serves the BEST Filipino food in the Bay Area!
FINALLY! Much like with so many of the other eateries that have previously sat on my perpetually long list of bookmarks, it took me far too long to finally check out Tselogs. Ever since one of my old coworkers mentioned how this place was her go-to spot whenever she had cravings for some of her childhood favorites, I had been wanting to come here. I mean, with an endorsement like that, how could I not be intrigued? Of course, it also makes it that much more inexplicable that it's taken me all of these years, especially since I pass by this place all of the time! While their original location isn't all that far away, where Tselogs calls home now is so much more convenient. By comparison, their current space is not only a lot larger, but parking is easier and you don't have to deal with the traffic that can back up on San Pedro. As for the menu, it doesn't seem to have changed much since they moved a few years back, other than perhaps one or two things falling off/getting added on - it's still filled with the same terrific selection of silogs, in a dozen different varieties, along with a slate of appetizers, specialty dishes, daily specials, and desserts. What's more, they even have a full bar with a mix of Filipino inspired cocktails, too! -- COMBINATION SILOG with Lechon Kawali and Bangus This was awesome! I was most excited for the Bangus and it was so good - crispy, flavorful, and nowhere near overcooked. The Lechon Kawali wasn't too bad either, but, as a whole, it was a little fattier than others others I've had in the past. -- COMBINATION SILOG with Sisig and Lumpia Shanghai Not quite as good as I was hoping for, but no less satisfying! While I liked the sisig and how flavorful it was, I would've preferred pork over chicken. As for the Lumpia Shanghai, each piece was fried up perfectly and was fairly plump, but I wish the filling had been more flavorful. Beyond the food, service isn't too shabby either, as the workers are friendly and the kitchen gets orders out relatively fast. However, one thing that I've noticed is that each time we've been here, we've never received the complimentary shrimp chips that so many others seem to get. Not sure if it's only given upon request, the luck of the draw with regards to which worker takes your order, or what, but it's definitely something we couldn't help but notice. Those shrimp chips aside, between how convenient they are and how good the food has been, it's easy to see why my old coworker comes here any time she has a craving for her childhood comfort foods. Plus, even though they don't stay open as late as they used to (I think they used to close at 2am on Fridays and Saturdays?), Tselogs still keeps some relatively friendly late night hours (open until 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays). Sucks for the late night party crowd, but more than enough for the rest of us!
Amazing food, very flavorful and love all the toppings. The garlic vinegar and sriracha goes amazing with everything. Ordered these three for 2 people and had leftover. Ordered extra pancit to go. Service was quick and nice. Very clean and decorated. Chill vibes, some Bruno mars. Can park across the street at Lucky's.
4.5 stars - We were looking for Filipino food and found a place that was still openStreet 9pm. Tselogs was available with some good options. This place is just big enough that it didn't feel too crowded, with a bar and some gentle background music playing. We were seated and immediately served with complimentary shrimp chips which was a nice surprise. I didn't notice that the menu mentioned ordering at the counter, so we waited a bit for service until someone mentioned we needed to go to the register to place our orders. We didn't wait long for our food, and we liked everything. Their vinegar served at the table had a nice flavor too it and accompanied our dishes well. We ordered the Bangsilog (milkfish) and the Sisigsilog (chicken, not pork). Good eats, reasonably priced. We liked the condiments bar and the center table with shirts and other goods for sale. Overall a good find!
I came here with two of my best friends from college. This was one of our spots back in the day. If you went to SFSU or CCSF, you're definitely familiar with Tselogs. The food is always great, and the service is always spot on. I came here a while back also on a Thursday or Friday night, and they had a performer singing. I thought that was pretty cool too. Parking is a little rough during peak hours, but it's definitely worth the wait.
Always good when I go. I remember years ago they would serve everyone a cup of broth to start the meal and there was table service. Now you just order at the counter and then get up or try to flag someone if you need something. Although I don't have a photo of it, my favorite is the lechon kare kare!
This is honestly a STAPLE in Daly City. They moved to another location across from Jolli-Bee's and parking is still on the street. We both got combination plates which we usually get when we come here. Same service, you find a table and order at the register, with sauce bar on the side along with their water for refills. Shrimp chips - they give one (1) round of FREE shrimp chips. I wish they would give us more or let us scoop like a chip bar. I ate them with my whole dish. Tapsilog & Longsilog combo - 10/10 hubby loves these two and never skips out on it. Literally cleaned his plate. Lechon Kawali & Chicken Sisig - 9/10 I will always get sisig and first time getting their lechon. I will the sisig was a bit dry to my liking but of course I still ate it. Lumpia Shanghai - 9/10 honestly you can't mess up with lumpia. It was great. Overall: 9/10 Our total came out to $78ish dollars with tip. It is a super small location so have your time to go there with family or friends because I know it can get packed. I wish they would give us unlimited shrimp chips - LOL because prices are high and yes we will spend to eat, but I mean just think about it. Other than that, no misses always a great experience here.
One of my favorite Filipino breakfast spots in Daly City! It's conveniently located right across the shopping plaza with Jollibee, which makes it super easy to find. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. You pay up front, then they bring the food out to your table, which makes everything quick and smooth. They serve all the classic silog meals (which I love), and you can even add another item for just $3 more -- such a great deal. The sisig fries are a MUST. I tried the chicken sisig option and it was so flavorful and satisfying. The atmosphere is clean, and you can really feel the culture through their decor -- it gives such warm, authentic vibes. Definitely coming back!
The interior was bright and well decorated. Very inviting to look at. We were welcomed as soon as we entered. We were ordering take-out but the place was nice even for dining in. After our orders were taken, we opted to sit by a long table...and the kind staff offered us crispy shrimp treats. Very nice taste. Our order was Lechon Kare-Kare and tapsilog with an additional side. Both tasted really great! Especially for the Kare-Kare which my wife commended for not having that pork taste/smell! And she is picky when it comes to pork taste in food (which she absolutely hates). The price was really reasonable for the amount of food they give you. The staff were very helpful and accomodating...friendly and all in smiles. We would have come back the next day to order Lechon Kare-Kare again, but unfortunately, visiting Jagalchi was more a priority for my wife. But we shall be back! This place is highly recommended!
Quick service and a super nice interior. They had solid portion sizes but a bit expensive for what you get. I got some Tocino and it was really tender and not too fatty. Sometimes I get tocino swimming in sauce but this was really good. The garlic rice wasn't as garlicy as I personally like but still good nonetheless

From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed. The customer service was outstanding--everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The dining experience was excellent, with delicious food, a comfortable atmosphere, and great attention to detail. What really stood out was how family-oriented the restaurant is. They made us feel valued and ensured everyone in our group had a wonderful experience. It's the perfect place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. My go to for kare kare side of lechon! I looooove so much. Best combo ever! My family loves going for the sisig. The vibes are mellow and feels like your coming over for a family meal for the mom and pop restaurant. Service is always quick and easy. Self service for water and extra utensils which is nice. You do need to pay prior to dining. My family has been going to Tselogs when it first opened in 2008. Loyal customers for this spot. We wish they kept the sandwich spot they had that made tapa sandwiches. We loved those too! Def a must go! If you haven't tried this place :) read more
Visiting from Houston and found Tselogs on Yelp for somewhere to eat in Daly City. I split the lechon kawali and bangsilog combination with my sister and it was so yummy! The bangus (milkfish) was cooked perfectly and their spiced vinegar paired very well with every bite. I didn't try the lechon kawali as much but I did try a couple bites of the kare kare and it was delicious! As for service, they were so friendly and fast. They ready the table for you but you order at the counter and pay first. Inside the restaurant is very clean and well decorated. The bathroom was also clean and large. If I lived here, Tselogs would definitely be one of my go-tos. read more

Great little place to grab solid food. There is a parking lot across the street or street parking (actual coin meters). Not too noisy with very friendly staff. What else would you expect from a PI restaurant!? read more

Great place for Filipino food with nice vibes in Daly City. They have nice serving sizes and great garlic rice! Prices lean a little higher, but food is definitely worth it here. Lots of self serve sauces - more so a no frills place, but everyone is really nice! read more

Longsilong- classic filipino pairing. Flavorful rice with juicy sausage. The egg was runny when broken into and overall a wonderful pairing that cannot go wrong A nice place on a busy street with paid street parking though was easy to find. So many good options to choose from so it was hard to just pick one. Wanting to come back again to try the rest of the menu! read more
Came here on a weekday night and the inside was moderately busy. You order at the register and eat at any available table. The owner is so kind and creative! They're well connected with the menu and really care about the food. My table and I split a few things, but I really liked the palabok and lumpia. The interior is beautiful! Parking can be tough. This place has become one of my favorite spots for Filipino food! We came in on a weekend around 5pm and there were still parties ahead of us waiting to be seated. It's worthy to note that this is not a sit down then pay establishment and you'll actually need to order first at the front. Each of us ordered the Sisigsilog for our entree and Lumpia Shanghai and Sisig Fries to share. The sisigsilog was sooo good! I think about this dish from time to time. Pairs so well with rice. The lumpia shanghai and sisig fries were also great choices for the table, but the sisigsilog really stole the show for me. We also ordered a tamarind cocktail and enjoyed the notes of the drink! Great portions and even greater hospitality. The cozy ambiance it brings is suited for small and large groups. Will definitely be coming back! read more
Had wanted to try this place for a while as I've been looking for more Filipino restaurants. Got to Tselog's pretty shortly after opening, and they were busy! My party ordered the Sisig-silog and the Embutido-silog. Here are my thoughts: The Sisig-silog was satisfactory, but definitely prefer a pork sisig to the chicken as the dish felt like it was lacking some of the fat to add flavor. Otherwise, it's a typical Filipino breakfast with rice and egg! I personally ordered the Embutido-silog because one of my titas makes exceptional embutido! I'd say Tselog's embutido is good, and it hits all of the flavor profiles, but I wish it was warmer when it came out. For those who haven't had embutido before, I'd say it's like a Filipino meatloaf with raisin, eggs, and a red hot dog inside. Service-wise, the staff are super friendly and accommodating! We were seated almost immediately and they checked in often. Definitely can feel the Filipino hospitality shine through! The restaurant itself is pretty small, so beware if you're coming in a large party. The decor is homey and loved the little details. In terms of parking, we got lucky with a spot right outside the restaurant, but would recommend allotting time to find street parking. Overall, Tselog's has the basics of Filipino breakfast down and would be open to trying it again in the future. read more
Came here for dinner. A bit on the expensive side for Filipino food, but the food was delicious. Self serve for your own plates and placing your order. The ambiance is casual and interior showcases the Philippines. I recommend. read more

There are few places that truly blow my mind with flavors. I saw a YouTube review of this restaurant and had to try it. Another shout out to ChonkyABG for this recommendation. I came here on a rainy Saturday morning ready to try many dishes with a friend. We went all out and ordered several dishes. First of all, the server was super friendly and very helpful. She helped us pick some really wonderful food! The Lechon Kare Kare was my favorite dish that we ordered. The peanut curry sauce with the crispy pork belly is a match made in heaven. It also came with a fermented shrimp paste that added some wonderful umami to the dish. There was also eggplant, bok choy and green beans on the dish which made it all a full meal. The beef paresilog was definitely a close second. Succulent, tender beef in a perfect sauce. This went especially well with the garlic rice and egg. We also ordered a porridge with the paresilog on it and it was also delicious. The tocino was also the best I've ever had. It reminded me of char siu pork and was so fatty and tender. My friend ordered the corned beef and the chicken sisig. Both of those dishes are great. I love how the sisig is served on a hot plate. I recommend trying some of the different sauces they put out for you. Be adventurous! There was a dark sauce that looked like it could be soy sauce, but it was some kind of msg, umami sauce that was very strong. It was really good with the sisig. Also, their Sukat, which is seasoned vinegar, was really good with the crispy pork belly. Finally, we had to try their beautiful, Ube Macapuno pie. I love ube, and the macapuno (jellied coconut) was really good. The pie came out warm and was the perfect end to this meal. I can't recommend this place enough. I'm shocked at how slow it was on a Saturday morning. A place this good should have a line out the door. I hope this place gets lots more business! read more
Came here last night after the top of the hill festival in Daly city or the sea look with a side of Olympia customer service here is 10 out of 10 Staff is here super friendly definitely a bigger area than they were in the coma location. I definitely like coming here because their food is very authentic 10 out of 10 ambience is like you're walking into a Filipino house or household where they greet you customer service here is very friendly. I will definitely come here every time, even though I live so far away near the Presidio. read more
This is a cozy Filipino restaurant with a great atmosphere. In addition to serving traditional Filipino dishes, it also features a small bar and TVs showing sports games. I ordered a bowl of chicken noodles; although the portion was quite small, the flavor and broth were excellent. The aroma of garlic gave it a taste reminiscent of Taiwanese minced pork noodles. The service and cleanliness were also very good. Visited on a Wednesday night around 7:45pm with a friend, there were a other people but plenty of open seats and tables. Grabbed a seat and staff brought us a menu, I do think it's more fast casual so next time would place all orders at the register before grabbing a seat. By the time we left around 8:45 place was full so there might be a little wait if you head her later in the evening. Drinks: Ben & Pepe - good, a little sweet and tart, tamarind and cinnamon paired well together, not too strong, felt pretty balanced Food: Lumpia Shanghai - very good, came with 9 pieces in the order, these were hot fresh out of the fryer, very crispy, generous amount of pork filling, super savory and well seasoned, served with a sweet chili dipping sauce, very tasty Steamed bok choy - solid, a nice option to add a veggie to the meal, great to cleanse the pallet between heavier bites, does come plain with no seasonings which was fine for us Lechon Kawali Silog - good, generous amount of crispy pork belly which was crunchy on the outside with some lean meat and some fatty pieces, ate a little bit dry and meat was a little bit tough but the liver sauce paired with this added a depth of flavor and moisture, the vinegary hot sauce was also great with the pork, garlic rice was fragrant and well seasoned, fried egg on top tied it together Service was solid, pretty casual, order at the register and staff brings out dishes to your table when ready which only took about 10 minutes. Water and plates were self serve, utensils they provided when we ordered. Drinks took a little while to prep but understandable given there was only one person in the front of house. Also limited cocktail menu on our visit. Overall enjoyed Tselogs, solid spot for Filipino food, the lumpia were the highlight for me, nice place for a more casual dinner with a fun ambiance. I was working in the area and I did a Google search for restaurants and this one popped up near me. I saw they had lechon kare kare and I had to try it! I'm so glad I did. I came here for lunch on a Wednesday. The weather was nice and cold so this Filipino soul food would warm my heart. I ordered the lecheon Kare Kare and garlic rice. I ordered the garlic rice in its own container so that I can eat eat it over rice. They really need to serve over rice plates other than silogs. Oh my God this is the best Filipino food I've had. I have worked in Filipino restaurants and I have eaten Filipino food my entire life. Let's start out with the basics. The vegetables were not overcooked or mushy. Perfect. The eggplant was nice and soft as it should be. The bok choy was still crisp and not mushy. The green beans were cooked perfectly and that they were not overly crispy or not Mushy. The lechon!!! don't get me started! It Was so damn good! Usually lechon is not cooked long enough and the fat is not rendered and you get a hard piece of pork with a hard piece of skin. Not here! It was cooked perfectly in that the fat was rendered and when you bite into it it melts in your mouth followed up with the crispy crunch of the crunchy skin! And that was for every bite! The sauce was so damn good over rice. I need to order some more rice next time. Order two servings of rice! This was the only thing I tried since it was just myself. This second location just doesn't quite live up to the original. The ambiance is definitely nicer and feels more modern, but the food quality isn't the same, and the prices are noticeably higher. Our bill for two meals came out to around $80, which felt steep for what we got. At the first location, they used to serve complimentary soup at the start of the meal, but here you have to pay for it. They do offer shrimp chips, but the ones we received were unfortunately stale. The sizzling sisig was decent, but the corned beef and tocilog were on the tough side, and the egg that came with it wasn't runny, which took away from the dish. Overall, while the vibe of this spot is an upgrade, I'd say the food and value were better at the original location. read more

This is one of my personal favorite Filipino eateries and it's located in the heart of Daly City. The interior design from the inside looks like an old Spanish mission-like space with great lighting. The bar is stocked with high quality tequilas and other liquors, there's a table full of merch in the center of the dining room, and a station stocked with condiments and cutlery. I highly recommend ordering their lechon kawali tselog. It's high quality pieces of pork belly with a side of their house made lechon sauce which is authentic tasting and real. You can actually taste the cooked innards of the pig in the actual sauce. This is great! I thought their longanisa was good but not my fav; I've had better. Their corned beef was good but had this chaulky texture. It wasn't bad but it's not a brand or type that I'm used to. Either way, each of these dishes are delicious and worth trying. I ordered an extra side of sisig fries which were pricey at around $18. The sisig is chicken type and not pork which is different and a bit of a bummer because pork would just be so much better on the fries. Overall, this place is clean and their service is friendly. The plates come out fresh and hot! There's even onion-vinegar and soy sauce on the tables. Food is big in portion and will stuff you. I'm a huge fan of Tselogs and will definitely come back again! read more
We ordered lumpia, Palabok, Dinuguan, spaghetti, garlic rice and the tapsilog. The lumpia was very good although quite small. I really enjoyed the dinuguan and the tapsilog with the garlic rice. Although I wasn't quite sure why the dinuguan was black, it was quite tasty for my first experience. It has a nice hearty and savory flavor and the tapsilog was very yummy and sweet to pair with the rice. The spaghetti and palabok didn't stand out to me. However I will say the cheese on the spaghetti did taste better and fresh compared to jollibees. Overall, pretty good value and food. The service was ok, water and extra utensils were self service but the waitstaff would assist you if you requested it. read more
Small, authentic Filipino restaurant known for their silog and their lechon kare-kare, but save room for their buko and Ube pies for dessert. Shrimp chips are provided as a complementary starter. I went in for Saturday brunch, and I loved it! I ordered the longsilog with bangus because I couldn't decide. Both meats were really good, the egg was cooked perfectly, and the garlic rice was so flavorful. All the employees were so kind and helpful. The restaurant is also so well-decorated and full of Filipino themes. Definitely felt like I was eating a home-cooked meal at my relatives' house. read more

Woke up and I wanted to grab some Filipino breakfast food so here I am. I came in and ordered the lumpia Shanghai and the Bangsilog. The lumpia was pretty good. I like that it wasn't oily. The Bangsilog was tasty as well. The service here is good. The food came out fast and the workers are very friendly. Definitely will be back to try another silog. Try it out if you like. :) read more

Silogs combination is a good deal cuz portion is decently big, each comes with garlic rice and egg, and one or two choices of protein. Got the lechon kawali + sisigsilog. Pork belly is crispy and tender tho pieces are big so it could be a little too much. Sisigsilog is yummy, savory marinade. Street parking available but needs coins. If not, can park across the street (there is a plaza). read more
