Willie's deserves every star. We first used Willie's when they catered my mother's wake at Duggan's, and the food was outstanding. Our guests were honestly astounded. People kept going back for more throughout the entire four-hour wake, and there was still plenty left for guests to take home. We hired his daughter Tiffany to do a musical tribute during the last hour of her wake, and it was absolutely beautiful. You could hear a pin drop. She sang two Whitney Houston songs and two Tagalog songs to perfection. Some of my mom's friends cried. It was truly moving. I ordered the large party package with lumpia, pork sisig, garlic rice, bangus sisig, chop suey, bistek, and pancit Malabon. Everyone loved the food, but they especially went crazy for the bilo-bilo. I am still getting compliments and raves about it. Willie himself came and set everything up, and the service was completely professional from start to finish. During such an emotional time, it meant a lot to have the food handled so beautifully and reliably. We came back to eat at Willie's afterward, and it only confirmed how great they are. The combo plates are very reasonably priced, the servings are huge, and the food is delicious. I know I'm getting a great deal when my teenager can't even finish his meal and we still have enough left over for a second meal. Great food, generous portions, excellent value, and truly professional catering. I highly recommend Willie's. read more

Dropped by for lunch on a Thursday. We were met with super friendly customer service. The food had just been prepared so everything looked super fresh. The store front itself is a bit smaller but has everything you need. There was capacity to sit three parties of four people at the tables. The food variety was pretty good as well. We ordered Cebuchon, Pansit, Sisig, and Ginataan with Shrimp. Everything was yummy and on point. The food hit the spot. My Auntie celebrated her 90'th birthday party and it was a BIG DEAL. She is a pillar in the Filipino community. Willie was the caterer and it was beautifully done. The buffet table was professionally laid out and the set up was well done. They are meticulous in their service. AND THE FOOD! There was a Lechon of course! Pancit, lumpia, caldareta, and another neat dish that I can't recall. Everything was delicious and well seasoned and hot. I enjoyed the food so much that I chose them to cater my wedding a couple months later. My husband and I personally went to their restaurant. Willie met with us to discuss our options and different price points. It was so easy to work with him. He's been doing this for so long that he is such an expert about how much food to choose and making sure the menu is right. While we were there we also got to combo plate lunches. I love dinuguan so I was able to sample that along with rice and pancit. My husband got the crispy pork which was super yummy. The day of the wedding they came to set up and stayed to make sure everything went accordingly. We got the premium package which includes a beautiful buffet setup with tablecloths in our wedding colors, a flower arrangement and all plates and cutlery provided. We decided on 2 meat and 1 fish item, lumpia, regular rice and longanisa fried rice, pancit and palabok. It also came with a dessert - we chose the lecheflan. Everything was incredible and I highly recommend them for catering or for a quick lunch or dinner grabbed/ordered from their restaurant. I'm so thankful for a Filipino run restaurant and catering company that understands how important food, family and community is. And their food speaks for itself!! My family and I have been waiting for this place to open for a while now. The long awaited what is Willie's at the old KFC? My first visit here, and I was happy to be helped by Willie the owner himself. They had owned Hapag that was previously in St. Francis Square. We also, had the the pleasure of dealing with him there for a reception before. It was pretty busy when I had visited and there is a small seating area for dine in. It's similar to the layout od KFC that was previously there. They had ready made food and you can order combo plates. I was very thankful that Willie had taken the time for customers to try a sample of some of the items they had to offer. It was my first time trying dinakdakan. It was tasty but when I saw the menu I wanted to try the pork sisig. I ordered: 1. Combo menudo and dinuguan- I highly recommend both items. I think the dinuguan is offered daily? I forgot, I'm a little late to post my review. Both dishes were very tender and flavorful. The rice was cooked perfectly. 2. Pork sisig- This is cooked to order. I had high hopes for this, sadly it was a little too salty. I had to doctor this the next day and add some calamansi. 3. Butter toffee peanuts- This is addicting, once you start you can't stop. The texture reminded me of the nagaraya peanuts my dad used to love eating all the time. 4. Bibinka- Willie had me sample this and to be honest I was ready to buy it before the sample. It looked perfectly baked like it was smiling at you, telling me to take it home lol. It was soft and delicious. I did not want to share the 4 pack. Yes it was that good.. This place is open for turo turo (point point) ready cooked food Tuesday to Friday. 10am-6pm. Saturday and Sunday is open only for catering. I can't wait to come back and try their specialty, the lechon cebu. I'm not sure why the rating is low but I definitely recommend supporting your local Filipino community. read more

The owner, Willie is from Tastebuds (San Bruno) which is known to have some of the best lechon in the Bay. My sister had their whole lechon catered for her wedding. Willie used to run his catering business at a nearby ghost kitchen and this is his first brick and mortar. This is mainly a catering business since he's not trying to compete with surrounding pinoy sit down restos. Open for takeout and very limited indoor dining (4 tables to fit 12 peeps). M E N U Filipino Cuisine - over 60 items available for catering in half tray, full tray, and deep tray sizes. WEEKDAYS ONLY: Turo Turo (six items in their steam trays) and Cebu Bellychon/Lehin Cebu by the pound. They also have desserts: turon (banana lumpia), bibingka (coconut rice cake), puto/kutsinta (steamed rice cakes), etc. Weekends are catering only with no prepared foods. Currently, 1-item plus rice/pancit: $12.50 and 2-items plus rice/pancit: $16.50 (they lowered their prices from their opening). Cebu Bellychon/Lechon Cebu is $21.50/lb. Nicely rendered so it wasn't fatty. Served with their housemade mang tomas [liver] sauce with a sweet tang and their punchy atchara (pickled papaya). - Pancit Bihon: Solid with lots of crisp cabbage and carrots for health. I like that the vermicelli noodles still had a nice bite to them. - Rice: Properly cooked. Great value and portion, as the 2-item plate can feed two, if you're not too hangry. Went there today with my friends and was so full & went home with to-go bags. They give large portions! For 2 items, you can get 1/2 rice + 1/2 pancit with 2 items for $15.60.
