Such great matcha and so many options! Nutty, naturally sweet and good matcha to milk ratio. Love how they don't use any artificial ingredients or dyes! Even though this isn't a free standing shop and is located in a public market I love how they still have their own design and vibe to their store front! Love the tile work, and overall aesthetic. There is also plenty of indoor and outdoor seating which I appreciate! The staff were so sweet and welcoming, I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the IE.

A good spot for a sugary sweet quick pick me up. It's located in the Redlands public market, right at the entrance. It would not be hard to miss with its bright teal colors and lit up atmosphere. I took a look at the menu while waiting in line. There were a few people waiting for the drinks. They have a variety of options to choose from, like boba, coffee, lemonade and matcha. I chose the matcha ube with oat milk and organic hojicha milk. They have standard sizing. There were two staff members. Our cashier was nice and accommodating. She answered my question in whether the oat milk was gluten free. It is. Our drinks didn't take more than 10 minutes. They were delicious. The first sip of my matcha ube was a dream. Thanks!

I wanted to love this place since the employees were great, ambiance was inviting, and the service was quick but was left disappointed by all the drinks :( The matcha latte with banana came with actual unripe banana chunks and the texture completely threw me off! The thai tea was also off since it tasted more like whipped cream with a dash of Thai tea flavoring, and the ube matcha latte just didn't sit well since it wasn't sweet enough and the ube flavoring was too artificial and powdery Also its card only since they don't accept cash!

It was a little difficult for me to find this place, however, I knew it was inside the Redlands public market. I entered through the side and walked around, looking for this place, and I didn't realize that it was facing outward kind of separate from the food hall. I placed my order with the cashier. It wasn't too busy so they had available seating. I waited about 10-15 minutes for my order. I wonder why it took so long, as they were not busy. When I got my drink, I wasn't really impressed. Yeah, you can see the green for the Matcha, but I can already tell by the Ube foam that the taste would be subtle. I was wrong. Both the Matcha and Ube flavors were subtle. In fact, both flavors were really hard to taste. The drink tasted really watered down. I didn't get that sweet and earthy taste a Macha drink is supposed to taste like. And as a Filipino I hardly got any Ube flavor taste from that drink. Such a disappointment in this drink because I had high hopes for it. I was really looking forward to having drink.

Cute little boba shop located inside the public market of Redlands. I decided to stop by here with a few friends and got their royal ube with boba. While the foam at the top was really good, unfortunately I didn't taste any ube flavor in the drink.. it was very bland if I am honest. The boba was nice and chewy but also flavorless. If unsweetened boba is what you are aiming for, this is great, however, if you're thinking of the more common sweet to semi sweet boba, you might be very disappointed. Hoping we get the chance to adjust the sweetness in the future. Otherwise the service was great and it is located in a lively area.

Drinks came out fast! They made sure we were ok with the dairy in the heavy cream bc we ordered drinks with oat milk which was super nice! Blueberry cloud latte is very tasty and has graham cracker crumbs in it for texture(kinda funky). Banana matcha has a strong banana taste to it and oat milk flavor is strong. When you walk into the main entrance of the Redland Public Market, to your right is Tsoko. It is a handcrafted tea, coffee, Boba shop that leans towards Filipino flavors. That in itself is very unique as it's the first one I've ever stumbled upon. Tsoko is Filipino for chocolate and the menu includes chocolate drinks along with coffee and tea. They offered ceremonial grade Matcha from Japan and we decided to get one to try. The Matcha flavor is very prominent and it is a stand-up drink. They offer house made jams and syrups along with fresh boba. The menu is unlike any I've seen before and well worth a try for anyone exploring this market. I will definitely try the Tsoko chocolate drinks next time I'm up this way. Parking is ample on streets and nearby lots. Casual and good service. Please come and create your own adventure.

New filipino coffee & tea spot at RPM - the new, highly anticipated Redlands Public Market. Tried the Tsoko latte with ube cream, barako coffee with ube cream also and the Ube Royale. Real ingredients from the Philippines and the matcha from Japan! Everything was pretty good! The chocolate was too pure for me since it was more bitter and not sweet. But the Barako or Batangas coffee was different! I liked it a lot, and I'm not a coffee drinker. I could taste the subtle sweetness from the jackfruit! Not that bitter. I thought it was really good solid 9/10 however I added a maple syrup for it to be sweet and the maple overpowered the Matcha so maybe don't add maple syrup lol I'm curious to try it without to see if I still like it Added vanilla "creme" which is kind of like a cold foam. Went last week for a tsoko overload with vanilla cream, tastes sooo good! The tablea used to make the filipino inspired drink is very rich and dark. Not too sweet which i like, just enough. Service is friendly and the decor is cute. One of my favorite drinks so far here in socal. I had went again this week to order the same exact drink, but the taste was not consistent. Unfortunately, the tablea tasted extremely bitter compared to last time. Will come back to try again but hoping for more consistency from this shop as i love this drink. read more

Employees were very nice. I didn't get his name, but man with black hair glasses helped me out very enthusiastically and was accommodating. Prices are very reasonable and the desserts arent too sweet. The whole area was very clean and very cute. Would recommend to others to try food from the philippines for the first time. :) read more

Ordered the Thai tea with sea salt cream and boba. The drink itself tasted very good and def could tell ingredients were pure and natural. My only issue is that there was barely any actual drink. It was only filled like 60% of the way and then a ton of foam on top. So by the time you put the boba in there's literally just a bit of actual drink. For $9 I honestly would expect something more. Might I suggest less foam or a slightly larger cup to accommodate foam. Although it was delicious it did feel off due to price and amount of drink given. Def needs less foam and more drink. As far as customer service the lady who made my drink did have a nice polite smile. The young girl who took my order wasn't the most friendly. Answered questions with a lack of confidence/unsure. A warm greeting/smile goes a long way. She didn't do anything wrong, just a perspective from a customer as I'm sure the company is always searching for way to improve. We bought our little kids some boba that tasted "sour" and my wife tasted and confirmed it. We bought it to the attention to the clerk Josh. He then poured my wife some milk and asked her to taste it again. She declined and told him that he should taste it. The teen clerk then said that our mother of two was being "disrespectful". I love the color theme of this place, especially since they're located in the Redlands public market. After reading the mixed reviews on Yelp, I felt hesitant to try this but honestly a majority of them don't seem to realize Tsoko is small business owned as this correlates to what others have said about their high pricing. I think if you like matcha and want to support small businesses, this is definitely the right spot for you. For those who don't understand this, there are other places to go who could sell the same quality for a lower price. I will still need to go again to try out more of their drinks to give a better overall review. read more

I've been here a few times already. Our family loves their drinks! I stick to their flavored teas because that's what I prefer. My kids love their brown sugar boba drink. Everyone was so friendly there and asked if we had any questions. They use organic ingredients and home made syrups so of course their price will reflect that. They're a small business and not a huge corporation that can source cheap products for a cheap deal. I loved their mural to take pictures next to. read more

I visited this location on a busy Saturday afternoon, despite the busy day the service was phenomenal. My order was quickly out. We tried the organic coconut water matcha, which is a 10/10 very refreshing, not overly sweet and delicious. But the blueberry matcha, was a recommendation from the cashier. Been here twice so far. Love that the IE is finally getting more matcha options. First time I got the ube cream matcha latte. 2/5. The ube cream tasted good, but the matcha was very weak. Tasted mostly like milk unfortunately. My second visit I tried the premium Kyoto matcha latte. 4/5! The matcha was delicious! I did get maple syrup with it though. I wish I didn't because they added way too much, but it didn't ruin the matcha experience for me. Next time I'll get it without any sweetener. read more

I've had the coconut matcha from Nook and was hoping this would taste similar to that but this tasted sour and the matcha did not taste like matcha at all. Very disappointing and not worth $8 at all! My friend also said her matcha ube tasted watery and grainy. After reading the reviews I think perhaps there needs to be a new matcha powder and maybe take this whole item off the menu in general. I've been wanting a Matcha place like this in Redlands for a long time. I was pleasantly surprised to find one in the new food hall they have. While the food hall is very crowded, admittedly, Tsoko breath of fresh air. Very friendly staff. Delicious food. They were very helpful. Would definitely recommend. I got a matcha drink and I added salt foam on top and crystal boba. Delicious! I want to come back and try the regular Boba and the other flavors of Matcha. read more

The ladies here were very short with me and did not explain any drinks well. I ordered the matcha ube and it tasted so sour and bad, claiming it was "ceremonial matcha." There was also no ube taste at all and for $9 I expect my drink to taste like the description. So underwhelming because the place looks very nice from the outside. read more

He went with the almond croissant which is how he judges all French bakeries. The rest of us ordered the croque monsieur (Parisian ham, becamel sauce, melted gruyere swiss cheese on white bread), St. Tropez (prosciutto, brie cheese, mixed greens, onions, fig jam, olive oil, herbs de Provence, La Monaco (prosciutto, Swiss cheese, mixed greens, tomato, onion, herbs de Provence, and olive oil), French onion soup, tiramisu, mango pastry, and pear tart. My brother was greatly impressed with the almond croissant, honing in on the laminated dough and the frangipane--a rich, nutty, and smooth almond cream. This prompted him to talk with the owner and baker, and he shared that in baking, "you have to be a little bit crazy. I use French butter and extra ingredients!" All the pastries were expertly made and were indulgent. Both the hot and cold sandwiches highlighted the meats and cheeses striking a balance with the arugula greens. Even the kids enjoyed the greens. The French onion soup was the best we have ever tasted; a delightful bowl of rich onion beef broth, toasted baguette with melted gruyere cheese. I recently visited Tsoko Cafe and tried their Ube Royale, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. For the price, it was pretty disappointing. The flavor was off, and it felt more like a novelty than a well-crafted drink. I understand they're a new spot, but that doesn't excuse the lack of quality. Found this secret gem for matcha lover like me. They have lots of matcha options. We tried strawberry matcha and the Kyoto matcha latte, drinks were perfectly balanced imo. Super cute spot!…read more Very tiny! It's more of a pick up to go location. Only a few people fit inside. Drink was good. Had it with oat milk. Sweetener was okay. They use regular syrup. Plenty of parking outside although pretty full during the time I visited. Staff were nice. Short convo since they were super busy. I would return. They do make fresh in house boba!!

Just before going to work on a hot day I decided to stopped by boba tea house and grab a smoothie…read more I ordered 1 large avocado smoothie with boba and a regular size avocado smoothie without boba; and 2 orders of popcorn chicken with one mild sauce and the other spicy sauce. My avocado smoothie was first handed to me and so I tried a sip and realize that it tasted more like a regular "milk tea" and no trace of avocado. So I went to the counter gave my smoothies back and kindly asked the 2 young ladies behind the counter to please make it again since it didn't really taste like what I had ordered, she hesitantly took it back and said ok we'll make you another one. Another gentleman who heard my complaint had asked what I had ordered and I told him I ordered avocado smoothies but it didn't taste like it; he too ordered the same thing and thought also that it tasted more like milk tea than avocado, so he too, handed his full cup of smoothie and requested they make a new one. The new set of smoothie was a little better and had at least a hint of avocado taste, but I decided not to say anything more since I was pressed on time. She handed me my 2 orders of popcorn chicken and I quickly left and head for work. I had open up my bag orders of popcorn chicken to eat just before starting work and and to my disbelief both orders of chicken was heavily loaded and coated with chili powder that made it too spicy to eat. All in retaliation because I had asked them to make the correct smoothie order that I had initially asked for. I've been going to this place for over 15 years and never had I encountered such behavior and unprofessionalism. What a disappointment. To the 2 young ladies working 8/11/26 between 1-3pm, you won't get far nor have much success in life if this is how you deal with your customers/clients. CUSTOMER SERVICE RATE 0/5!

I don't know what it was, but everyone in there silently scowled as we walked in, and it didn't get any better in the time we got our drinks and settled in with some pastries. We opted to sit outside, which was a bit better... at least free of the strange judgment indoors. The coffee itself was nice, and those who follow my coffee shenanigans know I usually order a cappuccino to try somewhere new, and it was quite nice. Even the little pastry I ordered was nice. I'd certainly recommend it to people in the area, though I don't imagine I'll be back soon, both for practical distance reasons and... who knows, maybe waiting until the studious clientele has gone back to school for the year.

You could taste the essence of mole with the mocha which was a nice blend although there was no touch of heat. My friend got the elote latte which was delicious! I really the vibe inside the shop, it's spacious and a place where you can grab a coffee a talk with a friend. I would avoid if you're trying to study though. My mom ordered one of their pour-overs, though, and she really seemed to enjoy it. It had a bold, rich coffee flavor that she appreciated. Based on our experience, I think I'd stick to ordering coffee here next time instead of the matcha.
