Max value shrimp to $, huge! Worth the find

It's not on the main drag, so many times I have just missed it. When we drove up today, there was NO ONE at the shrimp stand, Sunday noon. We placed an order for 1 garlic shrimp $12. After 10 minutes, 9-10 HUGE shrimp, plus the obligatory scoop of rice and mini salad with fruit. They were huge and at least a one pound portion. We walked around to the river behind had a delightful meal. Worth the find, best of size and value. GO here.

Part of the turtle adventure tours for our lunch stop. Never tried a shrimp truck or stand but we learned there's a pond nearby that they all fish for shrimp. I tried both the spicy and butter garlic and the butter garlic tasted way better. It was pretty yummy! I don't even like shrimp but the sauces didn't just stop at the shell but it was in the shrimp too. Apparently it's a secret local gem and I believe it. There's picnic tables behind the stand where you can sit next to the ducks and baby turtles and eat with them. It's also by a river so it was just nice to be out and look at the scenery. If you check in on Yelp, you get a free shaved ice. Those were just okay. I'm not a big shaved ice fan so I can't judge.

Hidden gem in North shore. Not taking away from Giovanni's, but there are a dozen food trucks that serve the same garlic butter shrimp/spicy shrimp etc. but this place offers a pleasant lake view, clean shadded eating area, and NO LINES! Food is fresh, delicious, and a great price.

This was my first time here. I have always seen the sign to this place as I drive past on Kam Hwy and was always curious as to what they offer, so when a friend suggested to meet up there for a playdate, I was excited to check it out. I had no idea this place has a river with great views of the mountain, a food stand, a shave ice stand, large picnic area, a waterfall and paddle board rentals! To me, "Farm" means there are animals (which they did: chickens, ducks and tortoise) and fresh produce for sale (none). It was a a great place to have a playdate. Kids liked the animals and the space to run freely, but not so much the begging ducks as we ate our lunch. The food stand seemed to have a good selection of local fare (Garlic/Spicy Shrimp, Kalua pork, Teri Chicken, noodles, PBJ &Tuna sandwiches). They were sold out of Kalua Pork and Teri Chicken plate by 1:30 so that was a little disappointing. I ordered the Veggie Noodle stir-fry for the girls and the Coconut Shrimp. Each once with a side house salad and a triangle of pineapple. The noodles looked great and had fresh veggies but they had a strange soapy taste to them and a bit bland. The Coconut Shrimp were pretty decent. They had a nice crispy, perfectly cooked exterior but the shrimps were slightly overcooked. It came with a sweet chili sauce. The Shave Ice was pretty basic but was very refreshing after our meal and was appreciated on this hot, blistering day! They have bathrooms on site and accept cards via Square as well! Will have to come back to try paddle boarding!

The shrimp was big, sweet, cooked perfectly, and had a nice firm crunch. VERY FRESH!!! Wasn't a huge fan of the garlic sauce as I wasn't expecting the thick consistency. The flavor of the sauce was good but not amazing. The rice was a little hard. Overall, I liked it, more because of the quality of the shrimp than the flavor of the sauce. Maybe a good place to try coconut shrimp? Will have to try that next time.

Lunch by the nice lake! After paddle boarding in it.

After our tour to Northshore, our bus stopped by here for a quick lunch. Food was amazing. We had the coconut and butter garlic shrimp. Me and my boyfriend enjoyed it. It was worth the money. Food tasted so fresh and it comes with the sweetest pineapple. :)

After stand up paddling we went to grab some food since we were famished. I saw a good amount of people with takeout containers and wondered what was inside. Whatever it was it smelled wonderful. We went up to order and a sweet lady greeted us. It was a short menu and we went for the coconut shrimp plate to share. It was an order of 6 plump fresh fried coconut shrimp. It came with a piece of pineapple and local greens with two scoops of rice. Well it didn't last long before our plate was empty. The dipping sauce was a nice touch of sweet and spicy. It was a great meal after boarding. Oh and our Pepsi was made in Hawaii!! Pretty awesome!

Good place to go when the other shrimp trucks are packed. No lines and lots of space. Shrimp was good but the butter garlic sauce wasn't.

Very delicious garlic shrimp. Had to work for it though cuz the shell was on, but so worth it. Rice was on point. Sticky and warm. Mmm

We were given the option of sitting inside or outside. I loved the wood furniture and plants that were used throughout the restaurant. For three of us, we shared the prime rib moco and malasada pancakes. The malasada pancakes are like no other, and it's a must try at this restaurant. It has the perfect malasada texture without feeling super heavy. The prime rib loco moco was a generous portion and paired well with the sweet malasada pancakes. Service here was friendly, and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. I would definitely recommend Stonefish if you're looking for a good breakfast spot with something for everyone.

We're seated at the corner and forgotten. Now, the food-DISAPPOINTING! We thought it would be authentic fish since the name stands for it! We ordered Chicken and Fish sandwiches. The plating was nice and looks appetizing but the chicken were chicken tenders or chicken stick and the fish was those ready made breaded fish from Costco (at least it looked like it). What made the good taste good was the sauce. So, I recommend if you're really hungry and you don't mind eating microwave dinner and the family needs to unload and relax coz the place is vibing and has a long bar for adults. I'm just disappointed with the food.

Really enjoyed the food here. We went before dinner service, so the menu was limited to appetizers,…read morebut honestly, that didn't bother us because everything we ordered was very, very good. The flavors felt much more elevated than I expected from a beachside restaurant. Everything tasted thoughtfully prepared, and it genuinely felt like there was a real chef working in the kitchen rather than just standard bar food. The service was excellent and very attentive and the indoor-outdoor seating ambience with the ocean across the street was amazing. Even with the limited menu, I would happily come back to try the dinner offerings. Definitely a great spot to stop if you're in Haleiwa and looking for something a little more elevated.

Skip the poke here! I know, I know, those are fighting words in Hawaii and probably not the opening…read moreyou expected for a four-star review. And it's not to say that I didn't like the poke bowl I had at Beach House. (I mean, what's not to love about about digging into some fresh ahi when you're literally feet away from the beach?) It's just that I had the otherworldly experience of eating from Foodland's poke bar the night prior to my lunch here and I couldn't help comparing it to the legendary Foodland. That said, the poke was still delicious and its runner-up status didn't distract from the rest of my meal. The spicy ahi wonton was a standout starter -- the shallot, scallion, tobiko, and chili aioli approach they have for the ahi here works better for the fish than their "beach house special poke sauce" in my opinion. Top it all off with a plantation iced tea: an island version of the Arnold Palmer that replaces the customary lemonade with tropical pineapple juice. We came in around 2:30 pm so we essentially had the dining room to ourselves after the lunch rush, if you don't count the cute zebra dove bird that walked around below the table halfway into our meal, trying to see if there were any stray crumbs it could peck at. Alas, we had deemed the food too good.
