We were really looking forward to trying Tsuke Artisan Noodle, especially after hearing about their popular ramen with the broth served on the side, but unfortunately we left pretty disappointed. We were told the broth would come out warm, but ours was cold. Since the noodles are also served cold, we basically ended up eating cold noodles dipped into cold broth, which just wasn't enjoyable. The food overall didn't really live up to the hype for us. The customer service also could have been better. We mentioned that it was our first time there, but our server seemed more interested in quickly taking our order than helping us understand the menu or explaining what they're known for. She wasn't very friendly or welcoming, which made the experience feel rushed. Unfortunately, between the food and the service, it wasn't the experience we were hoping for and probably not somewhere we'd go out of our way to return to.

Solid ramen spot! I got the regular tonkotsu, which came out nice and steamy with thin Hakata-style noodles. My friend got the chashu tsukemen with thick chewy noodles and a fishier dipping broth, and another got the level 3 tantanmen with a peanuty broth. Everyone enjoyed their meal! Overall good ramen, nothing that particularly stood out, but a solid spot. Parking in the structure across the street or street parking. 4/5!

We came in for lunch on a Monday and were seated without a wait. The staff was so helpful and friendly. I went with the Tantanmen ramen with broth and 1 out of 10 (0 was an option) for spiciness and it was perfect. I wasn't expecting it to be very peanut/nut forward but it was delicious. They are also a Sunright Express location (meaning they don't have taro) so you can add on boba during lunch for a small charge, which is a good deal. You can also get appetizers during the lunch special like chicken karaage. I didn't finish my ramen so we got to go containers and bags. Everything was great about this lunch experience. The food was delicious and the service was helpful. I look forward to coming back.

First time at Tsuke and definitely not my last! Huge bowl of delicious Jiro ramen with an egg, plus yummy gyoza and karaage with some sake. Don't skip the matcha shaved ice for dessert...so good!

Located in the heart of Pasadena by cute little shops and restaurants. Parking lot is a cross the street. Place is simple with tables and booths. Staff was nice. Food- Tonkotsu Ramen thinly sliced pork! A must! Ordered chicken karaage and dumplings and I have to say they were not the best. That's why I gave it 4 stars. All in all i would go back for the ramen!

A quaint and elegant artisan ramen store nestled in Old Town Pasadena in the SGV, this restaurant has a gorgeous Japanese modern interior that invites all into its splendid dining experience. The meal started with a strong and classic appetizer with the karage fried chicken. It then proceeded with the Deluxe Tsukemen style dipping ramen. The chasu was tender and flavorful. Both dishes were fantastic and the service was quick and welcoming. Would highly recommend this dining experience when in town.

I've visited the Pasadena location of TSUKE twice, once getting the Deluxe Tsukemen and the other time getting the Ajitama Tsukemen. The noodles are delicious and chewy, eggs are perfectly soft boiled, really no complaints with the cold side of things. The broth flavor is great but both times it's come out cold, which was a bit surprising to me. I could be totally wrong, but other tsukemen spots I've been to -- the San Gabriel location of TSUKE and Tsujita on Sawtelle -- serves it hot/warm. Not sure if the Pasadena location does things differently, or if I'm misinformed on what temperature Tsukemen broth should be, but cold broth is just kind of a bummer for me. Service is great otherwise and I love the corner booth seating.

I've been to Tsuke when they were part of Tsujita and I can say nothing much has changed. Nothing wrong with this place, everything was very tasty and arrived fast. Service was good. Just nothing WOWed me, but sometimes you just need to be satisfied. I really liked that they had the Jiro noodle option. I wanted the thick noodles of tsukemen but was too lazy for tsukemen, lol. So this definitely hit the spot. Super garlicky too. The pork was suuuuper fatty. Chicken karaage only comes with 4 big pieces so just be aware if you are ordering it as something to share. It's got somewhat of a sweet and savory flavor, almost like gojuchang. I don't think I'd order it again, though. Parking is across the street at the Schoolhouse garage, or you can try to find metered street parking around the area. It's also connected to a Sunright but they don't have the full Sunright menu.

I've never had the dipping ramen before, but it was sooo delicious! The broth was thick, flavorful, and almost curry-like. The normal size was more than enough to fill me up. The Chicken Karage was good, but passable. I'll definitely be back when my wallet can afford $25 ramen again haha

What an amazing ramen bowl. This was my first time trying tsukemen ramen. You dip the ramen noodles in a thick rich broth. It was very tasty. I ordered the deluxe tsukemen which included an egg and chashu pork. Mix a with a little lime and it gave it that extra zest flavor. I also ordered karaage and it was so crispy and delicious. The karaage portion was not as generous and it came with only 5 pieces, so I don't know if I would get it again for the price. The ramen noodles is definitely a must try. There were so many tables in the restaurant and it got busy quick. I went on a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant was quite packed at 12pm. The restaurant vibe was also really nice - many booths and tables. There is cheap parking next door at the structure. I would definitely come back and eat this meal again.

Broth was super rich! Only note I'd have is that I'd love a lil more noodles, but the portions were fair. I'd rank this in my top 5 LA ramen spots as a SoCal girlie. :') LOVED the karaage; it was the perfect crispy-ness. And the sauce over the chicken/rice was delicious. We had the deluxe tonkotsu and chicken karaage bowl. I'd definitely recommend both! Next time, I'll try the tsukemen! :)

I also don't like their chicken or chashu any longer and I always go with the tofu. Typical order for me is a Bold Ramen, Non-Gluten free, Go Green, Garlic's Best Friend, Give it a kick, with a flavored egg. If I'm extra hungry I will add extra noodles but their other appetizers such as their fried rice have never really wowed me, but hey, not for me. One thing that I do not get even though I am rating five stars is why they serve extra noodles immediately with your bowl of ramen. By the time you're done with your first portion of noodles, the second portion is a noodle brick that you have to pry apart in your bowl with your chopsticks. Ramen Tatsunoya handles "kaedama" wayyyyy better in the respect that it's to order and they bring it out almost instantly after you order it with extra green onions, wood ear mushrooms, etc. Tatsu definitely has the ability to pump out a bowl of ramen fast - so I know they could do this too with just a little extra care between front of house and back of house staff. Please consider it. Your customers ordering extra noodles will immediately notice a quality difference getting to eat fresh noodles!
