This what I call the typical South Florida "no effort" restaurant. Your basic cookie cutter skills , No where close to Nyc pizza , pure miami blahhhh pizza. Their slices pizza are small , for 2.65 , mauros in hollywood gives a real pizza slice, size of Shaqs head. What really pissed me off is their meatball sub, Wackkk!!! Subways meatballs sub is better. This is my bf and his roomie's go-to pizza place now (that's not Domino's or the like), so I decided to try it considering he's a New Yorker. Plus you can't pass up the value of their Tuesday special - $8 for a 16" pie, +$1/topping. We got one with pepperoni and mushroom and one with ham and pineapple, ordered for delivery. Negative aspects: thin to the point where the slices were floppy and the toppings were dripping off, crust was bland and neither crispy nor soft (somewhere in-between like day old pizza). Positive aspects: everything else. Other than the few floppy slices, both pies were extremely good. I was especially impressed with the ham/pineapple one. I'm normally not a fan of ham at other pizza places because it tastes so processed, but here it was like what you'd get at Thanksgiving - high quality with good flavor that's not overpowered by salt. I also liked that the pineapples were ring slices, not the stubby little triangles you normally get, so you got some pineapple with every bite. The pepperoni/mushroom pie was also packed with toppings so you never thought you were eating a cheese pie. Overall, I'm glad the bf discovered a place that doesn't skimp out on the toppings, all of which are of high quality and flavor, but would've liked to see the same quality in the crust. read more

I found Tu Pizza by mistake, but when I walked in I was welcomed with a smile from the employees. I wasn't sure what I wanted to order, but they were very helpful in suggestions and explaining the menu! I ended up ordering the caprese salad, which was amazing! The ingredients were so fresh and the plate was decorated beautifully. I also saw that they have a special on Wednesdays for $7.99 for a large pizza.. pretty hard to beat! Pretty good pizza at a reasonable price, but I wouldn't say outstanding. The crust is thinner, but not very firm. Both the Greek and plain cheese pizzas ended up being a little on the soggy side. The service was fantastic - they had our order ready in 15 minutes and were very friendly. read more

Not impressed. I love thin crust pizza, but this was a very limp crust with burnt corn meal/flour on the bottom and in distinguishable toppings. We ordered the Venezia and the grease was overwhelming. The only reason we ordered from Tu Pizza was the recommendation from the hotel bellman and they delivered. Lazy weekend so we decided to order delivery. We had a chicken parmesan sub and the lasagna. The sub was delicious! Perfectly cooked chicken, melted cheese, delicious toasted bread, and the perfect amount of marinara!! It was wrapped in paper and cut in half to minimize messiness. The lasagna was soft, cheesy, and flavorful. The little rolls that accompanied are not your typical garlic rolls, but they are delicious just the same! Now, I will try the pizza. My family and I went to this little gem the other evening and I loved the veggie pizza! It was fresh and light tasting. The set back is that there were not enough veggies on it and I had to order more veggies inn addition to what came with it. It should have been included in the price of the veggies pizza. Also, we ordered the garlic rolls. They needed garlic and olive oil it'd perhaps a marinara dipping sauce. They were dry. All in all the pizza id's good and the atmosphere super relaxed. Called this place while we were waiting to check in at the Diplomat. They were a life safer because we hadn't eaten in several hours. They delivered the pizza quickly and the staff was very friendly. OMG! FINALLY found our Go To Pizza Spot. After trying about 5 other spots around Hollywood area, we stumbled across Tu Pizza. Sooooo Good. If anyone's been to Naples, Italy, you know how amazing yet unique their pizza is. This is the closest thing I've seen to it in the States. Cross between Naples and NY style. It's DELICIOUS. We had the best Margharita style pizza and prosciutto pizza. My husband dealt with customer service, so I can not comment on that but it sounded painless and no new is good news right?! :) Will be a returning customer for sure. read more

This is only meant to help the business owner - the pizza is not good. You need to make your own sauce and improve the crust.
