My in-laws were craving cheesesteaks so we sent my MIL out to get takeout from this Lefty's (~15 min. drive) and then I realized it was the one I went to about four years ago. We all got the #4, the Sam's cheesesteak. My MIL and I got ours without the cheese sauce. Overall it was very good, and very filling; they have different sizes, too, as my FIL got a large size sub. We also got two sides of onion rings, which were good but more batter-y than crispy. Lefty's isn't cheap, I want to say each cheesesteak was like $15? The place could use a good cleaning. The counter near the self serve pop dispenser was sticky. Fortunately it's not warm enough. Had it been, we would have been dining with flies. One thing I've always appreciated about Tubby's is how consistent they are--no matter which location you go to, you can count on a great experience. This spot made me laugh a little because I'm pretty sure it used to be a Subway, but now it's serving up something way better! I went with my go-to order: the regular steak and cheese with french fries and a drink--and of course, I had to get that Tubby's sauce, which is absolutely delicious.
