I give the eggs 4/10 seems like they're missing something. Fries are good maybe a tad season salt would make them pop. And the sandwich with coleslaw is different. Ordered pickup from Tumble 22 today and tried the Thanksgiving special sandwich along with the greens and mac 'n' cheese. The food was fantastic, as always! When I got home, I noticed the sandwich had a small piece of chicken that only covered about half the bun, with the rest being mostly breading -- an honest mistake from the kitchen. I called and spoke with the manager, who was incredibly helpful and immediately made it right. They offered to remake the sandwich on the spot or let me come back later this month for a new one, which I really appreciated. The customer service and the food were both outstanding, as always. I came here for lunch on a whim, and was so happy that I did. The location is where the Old Ave., Café used to be many years ago. I ordered a Cobb salad that came with two chicken strips, what I should say were very large chicken strips. The salad bowl was simply huge, and had such an array of offerings on it that I was very pleased with the portion size, as well as the quality of the food. While we were looking over the menus, I presume a manager, who is named David, came over and asked us if we had any questions on the menu asked us if we had been there before, and engaged in the general conversation about the Restaurants concept. This was real pleasing to all of us diners because he was real helpful and explaining some of the history behind the restaurant. In conclusion, I would certainly come here again. My friend chicken sandwich was juicy and the sauce was spot on. His French fries reminds me of Mc Donald's fries, nothing bad about it I just wouldn't order it. At the end I had some room for their dessert. The buttermilk pie was good. It was creamy & had a custard like taste to it. It was sweet & had some zest; I think they added lemon extract to it as well. The crust was a little raw but I can look past that. They're the extra crispy kind, I prefer them to still have some softness. Then, another point of personal preference, is that I would have much preferred dill pickles. We were looking for a place to eat and Tumble 22 came up as a suggestion. I've had the Austin OG bookmarked for awhile and knew they had put one up near Tomball as well. This was more like a horseradish or spicy honey mustard sauce. We were saying how good everything looked so we got something in every major category as far as entrees go. I personally went with the Chicken Bites with fries. I got it at the Dang Hot level which was a Serrano heat level. The food came out piping hot and fresh.
