Medium $12 for just a 12 inch pie :,( basil is dry and forgot the tomato.
    Leslie L.

The pizza tastes just like a CostCo pizza. A Medium is only 12 inches. Toppings were missing and the basil isn't fresh basil but the dried stuff almost every pizzeria just gives away. I thought they messed up and sent a small the pie was so small so called in, they were really nice in the phone but the guy just said yeah, they're that size. End of the day, feel totally cheated. Like just STATE the actual sizes don't just write Small, Med, Large and then deliver what's a small everywhere and pass it off as a medium. Be honest about your toppings, if it's dried basil, write dried basil on your menu! If the pizza was amazing and they just forgot to add the toppings I'd be like whatever, but this wasn't a mistake. They seem to cheat where they can, which is dumb cuz place is nearby but I'll never go back for another slice. Plenty of other options.

    Large mushroom 1-Topping Pizza

I have been coming here for long time even before they became Tumby's (used to be other name or store). One topping large carry out is $7.99 at this time of writing, and I chose mushroom. When I opened the box, the amount of mushroom was a lot less than before, and it tasted like cheese pizza. I don't know if they were low in mushroom stock that day or decided to change the amount of toppings forever, but it still tasted good for a cheese pizza. I couldn't taste mushroom to be honest.

Not bad at all for a cheap pizza fix. Just as this pizza joint would suggest, if you're on a budget and want to satisfy your hunger this will do it. I was staying close by and sprung for the $7 personal pizza that allows three toppings. That's not bad as in my search I didn't see any other place that did that. I got the ever popular pepperoni, chorizo and basil. I was disappointed in the chorizo, it was bland with a bit too much of it. The basil however gave the pizza a nice flavor. The sauce on the pizza was also surprisingly good. Wait time was average, about 10 min. after I walked in to order and the staff was friendly enough. Can't say anything about delivery but for a cheap meal for self or family this place ain't bad.

All the stuff that came with it.

I was running low on food and evidently 8:30 p.m. on a Saturday night is too late for same day delivery of groceries by Instacart. I could have pulled something together for dinner from my depleted larder but I remembered the sensational salad I got previously from Tumby's. Decided while at it to also get a small pizza and a drink. Delivery by DoorDash went smoothly. One small glitch this time was the salad included slices of onion. Yuck! Now I know to ask for no onions. Was impressed they provided two packets of dressing and the salad greens were fresh. Plenty of napkins provided plus dried red peppers and grated parmesan cheese. Pizza is very filling and tasty. For the cost quite impressive. A happy ending to a disjointed day (after participating in the meeting of a national non-profit I am on the Board of via telephone I crashed and napped a few hours). Will definitely order from them again.

I had given them a 5 star review but tonight I went in to get a pizza and they had suddenly changed their debit card policy to require ids. I'd been going here for 7 months and I'd use my debit card and pin no problems, as it should be with a debit card. Tonight he refused it without ID. Isn't the point of debit is to use it with the pin? The guy was very "too bad for you" as well. I walked over there, which is always why I didn't have my ID on me. Oh well, I'm sure someone else will take my card.

Great pizza, great price! For the price you pay, the pizza is amazing. Small 3 topping pizza for $7.99! The pizza is doughy and the cheese doesn't slide off when you eat it. I love this pizza!

The Caesar salad was probably one of the best Caesar salads I've had. It was light, crisp, and refreshing without feeling overly heavy. We also had the crudo, which was excellent, and the burrata with tomatoes and crispy bread -- so simple but so good. Everyone at the table was loving it. But the pizzas were definitely a highlight for me. I love the square shape and that thick, crispy dough. And the chili oil they give you on the side is SO good. Such a great little touch and definitely something I kept going back to. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a really nice patio and a lovely indoor space. The staff was friendly, they have a great wine list, and we had a delicious Blanc de Blancs sparkling that paired perfectly with dinner. Overall, De La Nonna is just a great restaurant for a relaxed dinner with good food, good wine, and good company. I'm glad I got to come back because I definitely appreciated it even more this time around.

Overall, the atmosphere has potential, but the food and service didn't live up to it.

I politely explained I was no longer interested and preferred to leave. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. However, I would have much preferred to have eaten the food that I ordered. By the time we had left after waiting over an hour for our meal, there were few places in the area that were open to find a meal. Overall the staff was very apologetic, but I for sure will not be returning to this location, especially given the extremely high prices requested for below par service. I would not recommend this place to anyone, as there are many more restaurants in the area offering better menus and far better service.

I actually placed my order through Grubhub, so I can't really say anything about the location or atmosphere because, obviously, I've never been there. I ordered a pepperoni pizza with extra mushrooms, some meatballs, a salad, and -- almost forgot -- a couple of knots. The meatballs were amazing. The salad was fresh, and the knots were nice and crispy on the outside while still tender on the inside. And like I said, the pizza was absolutely delicious. Now, is it the best pizza I've ever had? No. But is it the second-best pizza I've ever had? Honestly, I can say YES. It really is, and I stand by that 100%. If you want a real pizza -- or, as they say, a real pie -- I can honestly say this is a place you need to check out. I've read a bunch of the reviews, and with the exception of a couple, almost everybody seems to love this place. After trying the food myself, I completely understand why. They really do make some seriously delicious food. Side note: Their slices are HUMONGOUS -- exactly the way a pizza slice is supposed to be! Definitely worth checking this place out. (Half $10) I need to have a shout-out to their chili oil sauce on the table. I often see dry chili flakes at pizza places and the chili oils at Asian restaurants, but they went pretty well with the pizza! Not 100% what's inside of them but they have a pretty good herb aroma with pine nuts. (Low-key interested in buying a jar but didn't see any being sold on the way out.)
