A coworker offered to buy me lunch for helping her with some work. I had a taste for a sandwich so I yelped this place and it is across the street from the job. I texted her my order pastrami grilled, on French role, add mayo, lettuce, tomato easy mustard. Not sure if my coworker didn't order it right or they got it wrong but my sandwich came with no lettuce or mayo and the pastrami wasn't grilled. I go to the tummy stuffers because of the great food. I am also a disabled person in a wheelchair. The manager does really go out of his way to accommodate me and getting my food by coming out to hand deliver me my food. This very unique because there are only 4 employees and they are open only 5 hours a day. Wish they would consider staying open longer. but it not realistic do to location. We love this place! We work very close and come here for lunch a lot, so do a lot of our coworkers. Let me just say, I have no idea what the 1 reviewers are saying, the service here is great! The cook is a super funny and cool guy who goes out of his way to help the customers. We stood behind some people today who were taking some time to order and the cook came around and not only took our order, but also it started it too so we were in and out in about 10 mins if not less. The food is soooo good! The bread is never soggy and the sandwiches are a good size. We go to no other sandwich place. I used to go to this place a lot. Their sandwiches were always so good. Today I went and the sandwich was so so, which is a small thing, as anyone can have an off day. What surprised me, and not in a good way, was the menu did not reflect the price charged at the register. Here is the rest of the story; I ordered a 12 inch number 68. The menu stated $11.20 as the price; I paid $12.30. At the register was a note: all prices have increased by $1 to $1.50. I prefer the truth up front, vs finding the real price in the end. In my mind being up front is the most honest and the best pricing method. The little note by the register strikes me as lazy. On a brighter note, the ambiance is nice and the service was quick and friendly. It could have been better though, and now I have no desire to return. read more
