Being my first time here, I was highly impressed. The menu is vast but it made it easy for me to build my sandwich. I ordered the foot long Monster on a roll. It was great. The meat was sliced just right and everything was distributed for a delicious bite each time. The roll was also just right, not too soft and not soggy at all. This was a staple when I went to UCR...many many years ago. After graduation, I worked nearby and it was again a staple lunch spot for my coworkers and me. I eventually moved on and haven't been back in a decade, but Mark and the ladies making the food still remember my name and order. Decided to look for local food spots after one of my classes at UCR and fell upon this nice hole in the wall. Saw the high reviews and ratings. This place has over 100 different sandwich choices! Our Postmates driver called us and said that the manager or owner (unsure) said that there was going to be an additional $11 added onto the bill due to us ordering more than 7 sandwiches. I really liked the sandwich and was glad that my boyfriend and I split it! If I ordered one for myself there would be no way I could have finished it. This place is definitely comparable to Subway, but Tummy Stuffer definitely puts a lot more meat and vegetables in their sandwiches! I had the pastrami, mushroom, and swiss, and my wife had the club avocado, turkey, bacon. They were both decent but nothing to write home about. I had the potato salad as the side and my wife had the macaroni salad as her side. Both were stuff we already had at home!! Reisen's prepackaged stuff that you find at the grocery store.
