Great sandwiches, even better service! Needless to say, my tummy is STUFFED. I came here on a weekday afternoon, kind of craving submarine sandwiches but I didn't want Subway nor Getaway Cafe. Luckily, I saw that this was on my bookmark list and I've always been wanting to go here ever since my boss recommended this place to me at one point. Food: The sandwiches here are amazing. Nothing too fancy, but for the amount of sandwich you get for the designated price, I think it's super worth every penny. Service: Service is great too. The lady behind the cash register was really helpful and gave me recommendations on which sandwiches were the most popular. I also asked if she had military discount and she gave me a discount to make my meal a combo for only $1. Overall, it looks like I will be coming back if I'm ever craving again. Not often though, as the location is a little bit far from the university so I might not want to make that drive quite so often. But the main key is MAMA she's in the back making sandwiches for everyone with joy and happiness . Ambiance was a normal ambiance but what's amazing is the super huge menu board on the left side of the wall ass soon as you walk in the restaurant. This is a hidden gem near our workplace. If I was craving a sub this is where I would go. Its hidden in a little plaza but don't let the small spot fool you. Their sandwiches are really good. Ordering ahead might help as they get pretty busy during rush hours but definitely worth it. They have wraps available as well for people watching their carbs. Im disappointed that I didn't really like this place as much as I thought I would. I actually love to eat sandwiches and think it's pretty hard to mess up a sandwich but I truly wasn't a fan. I liked the staff though they were extremely nice so I feel bad that this isn't the best review, however I'd like to be honest. They are in a business park so it's very easy to miss them if you are driving by. I got sandwiches for my family and we each tried something different so I ended up tasting 3 different things. I got the Philly cheesesteak. I did not like the meat at all. I don't know what it was about it in particular but even the texture was gross and very chewy. The flavor of the meat was very lacking and the added ingredients didn't make up for it. The bread and everything that came with it was extremely bland. Nothing special at all. We also tried the chicken breast club sandwich with no bacon. Also very bland. I don't like how the tomato's/ pickles and veggies are cut in thick chunks either. I certainly wouldn't get this again but if I had to choose out of the three we had this was the most decent. Lastly the Turkey, cheese and avocado- nothing great about it either. I don't know- for me I usually just love all sandwiches, somehow I ended up really disliking all of these. Certainly overrated in my opinion. read more
