We just found a quick to figure out what was needed. There's truck parking, a hundred or so spots, so it's a great place to put a truck and then not have to worry about where you're going to go to get your DOT inspection or to fix whatever is wrong. Staff is really quite nice an overall very helpful so all in all very nice shot!

*** WARNING *** 10/2021 We took our F-450 there to have…read moreservice after it overheated, now 1-1/2 years later it still leaks and continues to cut off while going down the road. Less than 1000 miles on it since the initial repair it still has a coolant leak and they are not able to get it repaired correctly at all. We ended up having it taken to another shop who is able to do the work and is more knowledgeable. Jason w-MTR tried to tell use that they didn't touch one side of the engine, but yet they charged us for 8 injectors. While in their shop one of their mechanics ended dropping metal spring or something down into the engine while they were working on it. Not sure if they ever got that out and after all this, now we find out we have cracked heads and need a new motor. They closed the hood on something and bent the hood. We will be taking them to court over all this. Now we are looking at 15K in repairs after the monkeyed it all up, Don't take anything to have them work on it. I am tired of the excuse's and delays dealing with them.

They passed the blame to their part provider (injectors they got where bad two times). They had my truck for 7 weeks and finally it appeared to be fixed almost $10k later. Fast forward to when the injectors (they claim they put on this truck) are just out of the 12k mile warranty and it is the same issues all over again, almost identical. I refused to go back to them after the less than speedy or professional performance prior. I went to another diesel repair shop (with all my receipts and documents in hand to show all the work). They ran diagnostics on it and said bad #8 injector and a relay. They actually called me to come see the original injectors in the truck. According to them there is no way for sure 4 of them have ever been pulled from the truck. Here is a even bigger sign. When I first bought this used truck, the shop I just had do this work replaced the #6 injector and it was different than the other 7 in the truck. So I now know I was scammed by this place for thousands of dollars. Never again will I go to MTR, I will make sure everyone knows this story. Shame on them. I see in another review I am not alone. I wish more folks that had an issue would take the time to post, it would help others from getting scammed. By the way truck is running like a champ with the #8 replaced.

I was quoted $90 for a basic adapter--far above normal pricing. After I questioned it, they agreed to reduce the charge by $60, but only knocked off $30 in the final bill. More frustratingly, part of the reason I agreed to the repair was their assurance that it would restore connectivity to my stereo. It didn't. When I brought this to their attention, their response was dismissive and unprofessional--essentially telling me "tough luck," with no attempt to stand by their work. They also performed services I never explicitly authorized, and only informed me of a $60 increase in the cooling fan price after the work had begun--leaving me with no meaningful opportunity to make an informed decision. What's worse, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being taken advantage of as a woman. The way I was spoken to, disregarded, and overcharged raised red flags that I believe many women will unfortunately recognize. It was condescending and exploitative. Between the inconsistent pricing, unauthorized work, failed repairs, and dismissive behavior, I left feeling unheard and taken advantage of. The car should've been under warranty, but they still tried to charge a **$75 diagnostic fee**. When I called them out on it, their **clueless front desk guy** awkwardly agreed to waive it. Spoiler: it was STILL on the final invoice. They kept the car overnight and then **called my daughter LATE at night** -- not even me -- to tell her the cabin filter needed replacing. When I followed up the next day, I was hit with a quote of **$290**. For what? Here's the breakdown: - $75 diagnostic fee (that was supposed to be waived) - $90 for a cabin filter (you can buy a good one for $20!) - $40 for two cans of freon - $160 in labor What makes it worse? **They did this same exact job the first time for $120.** How do you go from $120 to $290 for the SAME issue? This place is shady, dishonest, and clearly **preys on people who don't know much about cars** -- or who send their daughters in hoping for honest service. After reading more reviews, it's obvious I'm not alone. This place **thrives on deception** and **overcharges for basic work**. **Avoid Decatur Auto Tech like the plague.** They're not mechanics -- they're scammers in uniforms.
