We decided to choose Turning Point to celebrate multiple generation birthdays as it had a solid variety of options to suit all tastes. Though the place does not take reservations, I called early morning and shared the situation with the manager. I called again about 20 minutes before our expected arrival and the hostess shared our table was already set aside for us. Other members of our party arrived before us and were warmly greeted, offered a drink and the table. Our server, Dan, was fabulous, being unbelievably warm and attentive. I've been here for both breakfast and lunch. The food is excellent and the portions are huge. The menu is pretty extensive offering both the regular items, plus vegetarian options and low calorie options. The servers are all very friendly too. The only negative is that I don't think they take reservations, so the wait can be very long (45 minutes), especially for a weekend brunch. You can call ahead for a certain time, though, which I recommend. It'll cut your wait time in half. In the warm weather, they have a great outdoor patio to sit outside. read more

Had to wait about 45 mins for a table, but we were glad that we did! I ordered the corn bread french toast. When it first came out, I thought the portion seemed small and didn't really look super appetizing. But I was wrong on both. It tasted incredible and was filling. My boyfriend had the Wilbur skillet, which was equally as delicious. Again - didn't look appetizing, but tasted great. Cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of seasoning. We shared a french press of Hawaiian Kona coffee. It was pricey, but was smooth and delicious. We will definitely be back! read more

My husband and I absolutely love to get breakfast here! The only cons anyone can ever have about this place is that there is ALWAYS a wait, but that's because everyone knows how good it is! The food is consistent, the service is great, and they have a loyalty program that makes you feel appreciated for being a loyal customer. Just had breakfast there. Staff very friendly. Decor nice. Limited menu choices and most items are ala carte. The food very bland and overpriced. I had the Tuscany omelette; sausage, spinach, roasted peppers, and fresh mozz. The mozzarella was not folded into the omelette it was one small piece melted on top. My wife ordered the Garden frittata, this had a little more flavor because of the Feta. Would I go back, not sure, did not receive a good meal for the price. Breakfast for two $30.00 including tip. I had the Down Easy choice which put those luscious poached eggs on some toasted corn bread along with sauteed peppers, onions and chorizo. They added some sliced avocado for good measure! This place has really gone downhill. We've been coming here for years and used to love everything about this particular Turning Point, but it's changed beyond recognition. Our party of three waited over 45 minutes for a table.... while four tables on the outside patio sat empty and dirty almost the entire time. When I politely inquired about the situation, the hostess sighed audibly and said, "I can seat you now." She proceeded to seat us along with another party of three who had been waiting about ten minutes. After the hostess wiped all the garbage off our table onto the floor by our feet, we waited another 25 minutes before I finally flagged down a waitress, who made it clear she was not our assigned waitress, just to put in our drink order. Frustrated and starving, we finally got our food after initially arriving an hour and forty-five minutes earlier only to find that my eggs Benedict contained random food items that were not advertised in the description, i.e. three black beans....? The food was sloppy and lack luster. This was such a disappointing experience, and I think this will be our last visit. What a shame. read more

Brunch on a Sunday, yes there was a wait of 40 mins. But didn't realize you can check in on waitlist before going. I highly recommend. As for the breakfast all was great. My wife was only disappointed w my side if bacon. They advertise thick slice and really only slightly thicker than regular. All and all had a great server and my Eggs Benedict was awesome. The only thing I would have liked better was if the fruit wasn't so mushy in the fruit bowl we ordered and some of the melon was cut too close to the edge and was hard. This is one of the best places i have ever eaten breakfast/ brunch in my whole life. That is alot for me to say. They freshly roast their coffee beans every day and trust me it is delicious. Went here the other morning for breakfast with my husband and our two toddlers. We had an excellent experience. The coffee was great, and they leave the carafe at the table so you aren't waiting around for a refill. My husband had the banana smoothie, which he said was delicious. I had an egg, potato, and veggie skillet which was so good that I cleared my whole plate. My husband had the pumpkin French toast, which tasted just like fall. The kids had pancakes and French toast with fruit. We left feeling very satisfied. Our server was very polite and helpful. We arrived on a Sunday morning and had a short wait of 15 minutes. No worries for those who are waiting and need their caffeine fix- they provide complimentary coffee. The weather was stellar so we ate outside. Our waitress was fabulous, attentive and friendly. The ambiance was perfect for a brunch place. I would have loved to give this additional stars however my meal had me wishing for more... flavor. I had the special- shrimp bennies and had to add salt and hot sauce to make this edible. The shrimp were tender but the eggs were extremely runny and on the uncooked side. The potatoes (which I love generally) had no flavor and appeared under cooked. My husband had the huevos rancheros which were great! Large portion and flavorful, he enjoyed it all and again I'm basing my rating on my meal. I loved the free refills on the iced coffee and they even provided a take out cup for the refills. Maybe I'll try it out again but would order something completely different. read more

i got the roadhouse stack and it was grate. They have a very good tea selection. the place has a lot of vegetarian options and fresh avocado comes on a lot of thing and i loved that. we had our staff meeting there and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. read more
