Nashville Chicken Wrap & Chop Chop Salad
Michael R.

First time at a Turning Point location and it was a good experience! The coffee options are very unique and they were very generous with the amount they give you, even offering to go cups if you can't finish all of it. My nashville chicken wrap was really good and would get it again for sure, i wouldn't get the side of potatoes again though those were a little soggy. The chop chop salad was gigantic! Would definitely get again and the side mac and cheese was delicious. Overall this place was a great value, had friendly waiters and let us hang out for a while on a sunday morning so I would definitely go back or recommend to anyone in the area for brunch.

Key West Shrimp Omelet
Nora D.

Came with my friends for brunch. I have a chai latte as you can see the mugs were massive !!! It took a good minute to that massive cup of goodness. I had the shrimp omelette with a side sals and toast. The shrimp omelette was missing a little flavor but was decent over all. They have so many options I would come back and try something else. Service as good a bit of a wait but once we were seated the food came swiftly. It's a quaint spot lots of light.

S'more's hot chocolate

This little restaurant in a strip mall has the best server I have had in a long time. She went above and beyond to care for us. The hot chocolate was super epic. She gave us a to go cup for the extra. (So nice) my cubian sandwich was absolutely delicious. It was served on a yummy fresh chabata bread. I loved the aoli as well. My lunch partner had a huge standerd breakfast and everything was great.

Coffee - was like $3 for one cup of decaf ???

The food was generally good. One dish came out too cold. It took quite some time to receive our order. Service was pleasant though.

So when we needed a dinner location in the Brick, I figured we would try this location. Upon my early arrival, I was seated in the west facing room with ample natural light. There was only one other table of "early birds" nearby and they were loud but entertaining. Our waitress greeted me and brought some water and an ice bucket. I perused the menu while waiting for my friends. To my delight, this place is MUCH larger than Manahawkin. There are at least three rooms. Regardless, by the time we left, it was very busy. reservations are highly recommended. When my friends arrived, our waitress reviewed the menu additions. We decided on the oysters, octopus, arugula salad and the cod special. Everything was excellent. Service and pace were perfect. Plates promptly cleared, bread replentished. We shared a tiramisu and I had a double expresso. We will definitely return. I will take some photos on my next visit.

We all sat in one of the side rooms so the noise wouldn't be overbearing. Cara was an excellent experienced server. The entrées were excellent with the accompanying soups. I'd order it with a little less gravy next time. Didn't have a burger taste most have. Hard sear , steak Crust with a capital C and double scoop of mashed potatoes. Kind, diligent, and a real smile, not a pained phony one that usually passes at so many other places. They make you feel at home. The food is not pretentious. It's attractive, but is served as being just what it is, no frills or hype needed. I stick to the specials usually and they are always top notch. For instance I am nearly always disappointed with prime rib, but here it is wonderful, and always done exactly as you like. A rare thing. Tonight I had grilled halibut, served with a bit of perfectly cooked broccoli and a baked potato. My God! The oysters on half shell are always fresh and delicious, and at $4 each a real bargain. So hard to stop eating them..... Meal comes with a basket of plain little rolls and a plate of cinnamon rolls as well. I'm not a cocktail connoisseur so I can't really compare too well with others, but I have to say the whisky sour I had really sent me - a wonderful taste. All this in a comfortable, dimly lit, homey place unchanged since 1973, with always smiling, mannered (! yes, really) people filling the tables. No reservations, but if you have to wait, no matter. You can sit in the welcoming and relaxing atmosphere of the bar room.

I ordered from Yasas by Michael Symon, a Mediterranean restaurant. So, when Wonder came to Brick, I had to visit. I went in yesterday. It is a very small space located in Brick Plaza. There are tables and chairs for ten people only (I counted in case I decide to return with friends). There is a one-person, large, accessible bathroom in the front as well. There is a rack for pickup orders and then places to order the food. The staff immediately approached me and asked if I needed help with anything. I noticed the staff did that for everyone who walked in. They showed people how to download the app and how to order. I decided to order from Yasas again for my mom and Hanu Poke, a poke bowl restaurant. Our bowls were both huge and packed with food. My mom did say she thought the chicken portion was small--she said the same thing in Middletown. However, the bowl was so packed that it was enough food. I loved my tofu poke bowl! Since I am vegan and gluten-free, I asked them about the sauce, and they showed me how to indicate my dietary restrictions on the app. I have nothing bad to say about this place. The bathroom was even spotless. I hope they continue to offer great service and great food.
