The food was great. Try the different Eggs Benedict. Service was good. No rushing us out.

While visiting family the other day came here for breakfast. It was a Monday morning around 1130 , the wait was about 20 minutes. We had a member of our party who needed a wheelchair accessible table and the staff was very accommodating and provided us with the type of table we needed. They offered unlimited refills on ice coffee which was a great plus! We started with the bacon lollipops which were apple wrapped in bacon and were delicious! For my meal I had a Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich which was quite good! Overall good place and would visit again when in the area! read more

I want to start by saying we walked in here at 2:30 thinking it was too late but they were really happy to seat us. This was our first time here so I did not realize they close or stop serving at 3. The service was excellent and very friendly and the food was very good. My only complaint was that my husband and I choose a half lunch where you get a half a sandwich and a half salad or cup of soup. Long story short my husband was trying to ask a question about soup and the waitress told us they only offer bowls not just cups. So when we ordered our half soup and a half sandwich we were shocked to see a small cup of soup. The food was very good however the portions were very very small. My husband and I ordered the same thing and it was a small cup of soup and a very small half of a chicken salad sandwich. I was fine but in all honesty he was still very hungry when we left. Maybe we will give it one more try for breakfast And see how that goes. read more

Good spot for breakfast or lunch. It was a busy Saturday afternoon when we arrived but were fortunate to get a table pretty quickly. Menu is quite large with many options. Bacon lollipops are very tasty and sweet. Popeye skillet was ok but could have used a bit more seasoning and cooking. Sandwiches and pesto chicken Panini were nicely stuffed. Food is a 3, Service is a 4. Our waitress checked on us constantly and made sure if we needed anything. Overall good. read more

Visiting from out of town on a Sunday morning. Located you in Yelp. Funny that the Yelp directions locate you next to Lowe's which had us driving in cicles for a few minutes.We got a table sooner than expected. The hostess said 20-30 and we waited only 7 minutes which was a bonus. Service was fast and food was good. Loved the healthy omelette options. Restaurant and Barth rooms were clean. read more

Let me just start by saying I LOVE TURNING POINT! I've been dining at various locations since they opened and my only complaints are that they don't deliver and there's always a wait LOL! I love the white, not overly nautical overly cheesy, decor. It's so relaxing and refreshing to look around with the light colors and different decorative textures. I generally am not a breakfast person, so more times than not I'll order lunch. My go to is the jumping jack wrap - although no longer on the menu, they're more than happy to accommodate my request. I have a nut allergy, in fact one time I found a walnut in my salsa at a different location. Luckily I'm not anaphylactic, but when that happened they told me to always specify I have a nut allergy and they will cautiously prepare my food. That being said - today I was leaning towards breakfast. I ordered the classic eggs Benedict (with regular bacon instead of Canadian), and a side of chocolate peanut butter pancakes. These pancakes were to DIE for. I was hesitant because sometimes breakfast can be TOO sweet, but this was the perfect combination of chocolate chip pancakes with a peanut butter mascarpone and Hershey syrup drizzle. The eggs Benedict was good, I could have done without the sliced tomato and old bay. The potatoes didn't have too much flavor but I was too full to eat them anyway, so maybe it was a blessing! My boyfriend had the tuna salad on sourdough and definitely enjoyed it. He said it was fresh and flavorful. He washed it down with the iced coffee made with coffee ice cubes (so the drink isn't diluted!) It's safe to say I can't say enough good things about TP! read more

Great atmosphere, service and food. Not just run of the mill diner fare, lots of interesting choices.

It's always busy when I go here (on weekends) but my wait has never been over 10 mins. I'm usually with a group of 3 for outdoor seating. I also join their waitlist on yelp so it makes it quicker. I think waiting for indoor seats takes longer. The food is great. I've had the lemon blueberry dream pancakes (added tropical fruit on top) and the salted caramel waffles. My sister had the chicken and waffles so I tried hers and it was delicious! I can't wait to go back and get my own chicken and waffles. The servers are very friendly too. read more

We used to look forward to a great meal at Turning Point, now it's mediocre. Service was good, quick and efficient. The meal was so salty that I may need to start blood pressure meds soon. The potatoes were definitely reheated, not fresh and the power pancakes were just plain old whole wheat, not the old style with the grains and seeds throughout the pancake. Turning Point of Brick is a great addition to the area. Same menu as the other locations and same great food. When you're feeling like something nicer than the diner, Turning Point always makes an excellent breakfast spot. There's a nice outdoor area with a trellis roof, so come summer there looks to be some good outdoor seating. Turning Point closes as 3pm, because there only a breakfast and lunch place. I reccomend calling ahead on the weekends to have them save you a table. Otherwise you may have to wait a while as they get pretty crowded. read more

With that being said, let me tell you about Turning Point. It's ON POINT. period. The ingredients are fresh and the servings are large. There are so many choices that it took me a while to decide - the drinks menu alone is like walking into Willy Wonka's factory - everything looks good and I want to try them all! Coffees, teas, iced teas, shakes, smoothies, specialty drinks... it goes on and ON! I had the Hawaiian Kona French press. Gosh, that's a review on its own. Delicious. I had a western omelette, I know, so typical but I wanted something filling and I love their eggs and English muffins. It was everything I wanted. I absolutely love Turning Point, and would not hesitate to deem it one of my top five favorite breakfast establishments in Ocean County. I recently visited TP on Easter Sunday for breakfast with my family and walked out stomach full and haply with the service I received. Here are some highlights: Food- I went with my usual of an egg skillet dish, and asked about the possibility of subbing out an item in the skillet for breakfast potatoes. Our waitress was so understanding and able to accommodate. Drink- You cannot go wrong with the coffee selection at turning point. The presentation of their french press alone is fantastic. Between three guests we shared two french press roasts and even had some extra at the end of the meal. Our server kindly brought over to go mugs for us to take our coffee with us. Price- TP dishes can be a little pricey for the serving you receive. This point is my ONLY reason for the 4 star review. For three people for breakfast, coffee, and tip: the bill came to about $55. Now you can order some cheaper items on the menu but they do not compare the Lobster Eggs Benedict. :) Service- I had some of the best service I have had at a restaurant in a long time, and thats for breakfast in Easter! Upon finishing our meal Our waitress did not rush us out or try to flip the table, and instead offered us additional beverages and cleared our settings. I come here SEVERAL times a month and have never ever been presented with less than exquisite service. The wait staff are kind, personable and efficient, and everybody is very well informed and communicative, plus very accomodating. Even though I am not vegan, I like to drink almond milk instead of dairy, so when I asked for a latte with almond milk and whipped cream, they made sure to confirm with me that 1. I knew that the whipped cream was NOT dairy free and to confirm that they had heard me correctly. Been a patron of several Turning Point restaurants and never was disappointed, however I placed a takeout order at the Brick location where I have been to previously and ordered their version of a turkey club sandwich which I have ordered before and been quite good. This sandwich was a disgrace-very little turkey all you could taste was the bread and it was "deli sliced turkey" NOT real turkey! Other times I ordered this sandwich it was plentiful and REAL baked turkey. Would be hesitant to return and upset as this was a favorite go to place. read more

Extremely disappointed with my last experience here. We decided to come this morning for breakfast as a family. Me, my son and my husband. I ordered an omelette with ham, cheese and feta. My omelet came out with green mold on the feta cheese. I alerted the server and he said he spoke with the kitchen manager and assured me that the feta was not expired and that mold happens sometimes. As a pregnant women I did not want to take that risk as there was most definitely mold on the cheese and feta is not a moldy cheese. So I decided to switch my order and just order something simple. Pork roll and cheese on a bagel THATS it. It comes out with runny eggs on it. First off I didn't order that. Second I can't eat runny eggs as a pregnant lady it's off limits. The server seemed baffled I clearly said pork roll and cheese only. I sent it back. Asked for the check and the server said I took off those 2 items for you. Well that was a shocker because I didn't eat them and I sent them back. Why would I be charged for something I did not consume. Not to mention why did I even have to pay a bill. I waited over an hour dealing with kitchen and server error and didn't eat anything. No manager came over and nothing was done. This is just not how customers should be treated.
