Great breakfast/lunch spot! Food is always good and fresh! One of the best cups of coffee I've had, and there's free refills on the iced coffee, which you cannot beat! Overall, service has always been excellent and the staff has met all my dietary requests with no questions asked! I would recommend however to avoid this place on the weekends, I went on a Sunday around 11am and waited over two hours, when I was told the wait was only 20 minutes, which obviously was a bummer. Very poor service , careless waiters. Out of six orders two came in wrong. We also got the bill from other table. VERY VERY disappointed.

This is a must try restaurant! It is very new and up an coming. My table ordered the bacon apple lollipops and they were so interesting. The eggs benny was delicious, minus the fact that the sauce was slightly watery. I love how when we walked in the had little to-go side cups of dry cereals for the kids (and adult kids, haha) while waiting for a table. The cinnamon pancakes were delicious and tasted like a cinnamon bun. They had a great variety of meal options. The wait staff was so helpful in helping us choose what to order. They provided recommendations and their personal favorite(s). We all said we would be returning to this establishment in the near future! read more

Great food and outstanding service. If you are a breakfast person, the Turning Point is for you. Lots of choices, all of them great.

The food is very good, the atmosphere is nice. Unfortunately, the service was not very good the last time we were there. The waitress only came around when signaled and one person in our party did not get their food until the rest of us were finished eating. He ordered an omelet, so I'm not sure why it took so long to cook. read more

Been here twice. The first time the food was mediocre. Second visit, great improvement. Will come again. My only other complaint is that the table syrup for the pancakes is awful. You can purchase better syrup, but you shouldn't have to as the food is already a bit pricey. Excellent friendly service. read more

What a great addition to Newtown. The menu is diverse, yummy, and there is something for everyone!

Let me start with the fact that I absolutely love Turning Point. The food, the coffee, the service, it's fantastic. I have been to the location in Newtown about three times now and definitely will not be going back because of one of the staff members. Younger dude, must be the manager or something, but every single time I have gone in he has been there and looks at my three girl friends and I COMPLETELY inappropriately. First, when we walked in, he looked us up and down and could not look us in the eye, and he was too busy staring at our chests. Then, he would walk by us and (not in a subtle manner i might add) stared at us again inappropriately. This is absolutely ridiculous that the restaurant has a creepy man working the front. I would understand if this was just one time, but it happened over and over again and frankly will prevent me from going back to this location. I love the restaurant and I am willing to go to warrington to get the food, but this employee needs to be dealt with. I cannot be the first person who has noticed this, but if I am I sincerely hope the restaurant does something about it so they do not lose business. read more

Spent a Saturday morning at their coffee bar with an order of berry chocolaty pancakes and a cup of Joe and it was excellent. I did go early so as to avoid the weekend crowd. The pancakes were large, plentiful,fresh and chock full of chocolate chips with a drizzle of chocolate syrup and topped with fresh sliced strawberries. The pancakes came with a side of strawberry puree topping and whipped cream. I asked for and immediately received maple syrup (I'm old school). The puree was an excellent complement to the strawberries and chocolate drizzle and the whhhipped (pronounced like Stewie would) cream was the ,er, uh, cream on top (ok, ding me for a lack of originality..) The pancakes had great flavor and the chocolate chips were in the pancakes (not carelessly tossed on top like some ham 'n eggers do...I'm looking at you IHOP..) and the coffee was fresh, hot and delicious. The service was excellent, pleasant and attentive..given I'm a jaundiced looking middle aged guy prone to grunting prior to my first cup of coffee..I will be back... read more

Everything about our visit was disappointing. As we were being seated, I inquired with the hostess if we could sit st one of the empty booths instead of a table (easier with kids). She put the menus on the table she was headed to, saying "those booths are for someone else." As I was asking what the additional wait time would be for a booth, she turned and walked away. We then waited 20 minutes for our drinks to be delivered and 42 minutes for our food. The restaurant messed up my both of sons' meals/drinks, then delivered a burning hot plate of charred pancakes in front of son as a replacement for the first order that was incorrect. They kindly took our kid's meals off the bill (thankfully since we had to get them breakfast elsewhere after leaving) and the waitress informed us that she even took off one of their kid's meal drinks- I had to show her on the menu where it stated they were supposed to be included anyway with the kid's meals. Needless to say, we won't be returning anytime soon- there are far better dining and customer service experiences in the area. read more

I have eaten numerous times with very nice experiences, that was until yesterday. My husband and I had eat there yesterday for breakfast with another couple. Our waitress was very nice but the assistant manager is really a nasty B#$#$tch. Our food had taken along time to come out, we had asked our waitress why it was taking so long, after the third time she had suggested that we speak with the assistant manager. I think she said her name is Sean. Honestly, she had looked like she was annoyed when she had come over to our table, and clearly expressed it while speaking with us, as though we were bothering her. In fact, she had rolled her eyes and began to laugh as she walked from our table. After our food arrived, she said "is the food acceptable or is there something that you want me to do", I would suggest that she gets a F#$#$KING personality that what I want her to do. She made our entire experience annoying and unpleasant - I WILL BE SURE TO SHARE OUR EXPERIENCE and with their corp. offices. read more
