The staff is unbelievable. Every, single one of them is capable, nice, and hard working. We were a table of 20ish. We were all from out of town and just buried our two cousins at a nearby military cemetery. The staff was extremely accommodating, the service was great, the food well, the food is always good (I've been to a Turning Point in DE before). They set us up away from as many people as they could, gave us privacy but also were very tentative. We had a rough day and then a lovely experience here largely in part of the staff. I've heard about The Turning Point being a great addition to the area so decided to try. The wait time wasn't bad because we signed up on the waitlist on Yelp before we arrived (if you don't do this ahead of time you're looking at a 40-50 minute wait time). After ordering our food we waited a really long time for it to arrive (about 25-30 minutes). I didn't expect the wait for breakfast food to take so long. The kid's dishes came out well before ours and they finished before we even started eating. This resulted in the adults not being able to enjoy anything. We ordered the following: Kid meals- Fruit Loops, chicken fingers and apple slices and French toast. All three were a hit, no complaints. Seaside Jersey club- big sandwich, but you can tell it sat for a while because the bread was rock hard. My dad didn't really enjoy it because of this. Grand French Toast- my husband enjoyed this very much however; $15 for just a plate of French toast with no sides is rather ridiculous. Key West Omelette: Just okay. It did have a lot of shrimp. But the ratio of bacon, tomatoes, shrimp, avocado and cilantro to eggs was ridiculous. It didn't seem like an omelette because the other ingredients were just too much. The amount of cheese alone was enough to destroy the omelette. Iced coffee with caramel flavor and almond milk- couldn't drink it because the coffee tasted very old. Overall, The Staff was very pleasant and attentive. The decor and seating is beautiful. I'm on the fence about giving this place another try. I'll update my review if we do. read more

The restaurant is located in the heart of the shopping mall. You have a choice to choose either inside or outside. It's very cute and convenient. The staff is professional and serves quickly. The entire area is designed for a shopping experience. It's a great place to take your half out for a shopping/ food experience. If you are brunching here I would recommend to check the square (entertainment area) out which is located few steps away from the restaurant. Turning point is solid. Not amazing. It's the best option in bucks county cause let's be honest, we got like an ihop somewhere in warrington, and like 9 Dunkin' Donuts around. It's gotten better since it opened but the wait was very long for some burnt avocado toast and pancakes. Speaking of pancakes, the berry chocolate ones were dope. The chicken and waffles, also dope. They have a good selection of coffees and breakfast beverages they make there for you. A nice outdoor seating area which isn't for me in 100 degree heat but some crazy people were still out there. If you have pain in the butt kids like I do, they give free little cups of cereal to shut them the hell up while you wait to be seated. After being a fan of TTP for over a decade, I have to give some honest and negative feedback. It involves the "sun rooms" in your establishments. I am frequently seated there and always ask for some place else to sit. Why you ask? It is stuffy. The room has poor air flow. It is loud and sterile looking. Further, the tables with kids are "shoved" back there. Servers often forget about customers as they are out of site. Today it hit a new level: they forgot part of the meal. The dishes my food came on were filthy. When I told the female manager the issue, she looked at me as though it was my fault. Cold food - especially dairy should NEVER be served on a warm dish. Those dishes should be kept in a cold box to ensure proper food handling. I am not sure if I will return to TTP. After almost two decades it has become another chain restaurant to avoid. read more

Second time here. I love this restaurant! It's pretty large, bright and airy. They have outside seating as an option and you can play corn bag toss (whatever that's called).the waiting area is roomy, and they have tiny cups of cereal for the kids to munch on to keep them happy while waiting. I had a delicious beet juice blend to start, and a wonderful eggs bennidetto the first visit, and a great southwest salad the next visit. I'm so happy to have found this place. Just found my new favorite breakfast spot The food was absolute amazing and our waitress was so nice! We got there right before everyone showed up and it was a Wednesday at 12:30! The whole restaurant was packed within the first 5 minutes of getting there. We did have to wait 20-25 mins but it was definitely worth the wait. I had the Western Omelet with which was very good I just wished I didn't add cheese b/c dairy usually doesn't sit well with me. The potatoes were very good and the omelet was the perfect size. I also had green juice which surprising was amazing. It was not sour to any means. It basically tasted like a green lemonade and is very healthy which is a plus. I had a bit of the Power Grain Pancake as well which tasted like an original pancake. Very healthy and very delicious! 10/10 recommend this place even if there is a little wait. Turning Point has the same feel of all these newish businesses opening in the Village at Newtown...it's pretty good. It has the feel of a small business that had a lot of heart and soul when it first opened, did really well and then 4 more locations sprung off of it and lost a little more heart with each new opening. The menu is full of all the current trendy brunch items, but the food is often lacking in flavor and originality. Good coffee selection and a nice outdoor seating setup. I had high hopes for a holiday brunch with my bf. When we arrived and most tables were taken. However we were seated quickly while parties of four had ten minute waits even though over five tables were clean and empty. I had heard good reviews from my daughter and son who recommended this place. The menu was extensive and covered Mexican, pancake/waffles and eggs. There were skillets and avocado toasts that looked good. We ordered a French press pot of coffee which cost 9.50$ for two cups. Ok. It's Newtown. The coffee was Kona and tasted fine for a single cup. The servers were nice bringing water right away but twice forgetting butter. We tipped over 20% because the servers were attentive. Her eggs were undercooked which can be dangerous. I had the pancake flight which had me really excited getting 6 thin 3inch pancakes with real maple syrup. I ordered three flavors cinnamon bun which were pretty tasty yet loaded with sweet icing. Chocolate berry which were drizzled with chocolate syrup while cooking and 1 1/2 strawberries were cut on top. Blueberry lemon which were two plain pancakes and 15 blueberries on top with a pinch of lemon zest also on top. This cost 12$. There was a warm condiment dish of strawberry sauce which was not real sweet. It was ok but nothing special. I was disappointed that a breakfast for two that was so plain cost 45$ I can't eat two pancakes with unlimited coffee at ihop where they are 9$ with a tip. I did not think the food or coffee quality was better than ihop. The ambiance was newer and younger servers but I won't be back. Save your money for Harvest or Iron Hill where the food is better and the vibe is Newtown. Corner Bakery went out of business possibly because of Starbucks and Turning Pointe. I just don't see the attraction to a place that serves avocado toast for $45 bucks. Langhorne coffee house, Pats country Kitchen, coffee cup cafe, Mary Anne's, Garden of Eatin, Cracker Barrel and Honeys Sit and Eat are all so much better tasting. Maybe it's me but it was just too much money for what I ordered. It did not taste fantastic as I make and order pancakes all the time so if you go pass on ordering the pancakes. I Was wondering why the chocolate berry did not have berries inside or that the small pancakes weren't light and fluffy. I had to try it for myself but I think it will go to another place next time. I'm not adverse to spending money for good food but this food was just so blah for the price. McDonalds pancakes are better. Sorry to leave a bad review but I am being truthful and hopefully helpful to someone looking for a good breakfast. Visited the restaurant today and it was fantastic! From the service, the quality of the food, and the care and attention of the manager, I couldn't have asked for a better experience! The breakfast potatoes were to die for and the quick service from the staff made my experience top notch. The management here is fantastic and although they were obviously short staffed (servers taking care of multiple tables) they were quick, attentive, and extremely polite. I ordered an omelette with spinach tomatoes and onion. I tried their shrimp western omelette previously and it was fried too hard so figured go light so they won't kill it in the pan. Not only was this omelette fried hard but it genuinely looks like someone took a bagged salad mix as the vegetables. Broccoli zucchini shredded carrots onion and mushroom and tomatoes. I also asked for cream cheese to be used as a cheese in the omelette(I like goat chz but not everywhere has it) and I'm guessing this guy forgot and then just threw a scoop of it in a to-go ramekin to call it a day. Disgusting. Please get rid of your omelette guy they are supposed to be light and fluffy and he is also supposed to be able to read the tickets coming through so this doesn't happen. My girl and myself came here today (Sunday), going to have to say it's on par with their other locations. First, we checked in online using Yelp. Acceptable that there was 20 parties ahead of it, it was going to be a little wait. We check-in and was told about 15 minutes. Over 30 minutes go by and they ask us, "Did you check-in with the host?" I figured out they saw us sitting there as they were seating people who had checked in after us. We finally get to sit. It's a beautiful place overall. We were sested out on the patio which was actually really nice. Our waitress greeted us and it took some time before she came back to us for the orders. We order our drinks and get them back in decent time. She does happen to forget our water which I had to prompt her for. Understandable, she related she was new. The issue was that this was already 20-30 minutes into waiting for our food. Waiting, waiting, waiting. Honestly, a good name would be The Waiting Point. Our waitress actually had to ask us if she got our orders because it still wasn't there!!!! While waiting (still), I felt so bad for the table next to us. They only had 2 our of 3 meals even delivered and eaten before asked about the last meal. We finally get our meals. They were good. I'll give them that they tasted pretty good. The picture shows my girl's burnt scrambled eggs which happens, but it was the entire bottom. The only issue with the food itself was that it wasn't hot but warm. The reason this is so long is that I repeatedly try Turning Point and its other locations but it seems to be the same. The kitchen is just constantly slow and you'll sit around forever. Seating available indoors and outdoors with plenty of space. Every time we've eaten here, the servers have been pleasant and the cleanliness on point along with proper social distancing. After seeing the pictures I said to my app, I believe your right. The yelp app also had a way to add your name to the Turning points waiting list which was 58 min noon time on Sunday. I made a reservation for 1pm and received an immediate text confirming same. My friend and I arrived at 1:04 pm gave our name and was seated at 1:10. Now the wait begins partially our fault. After seeing the menu we really could not make a decision the only thing we knew is that we wanted breakfast. 20 min later we placed our order. I got the Wilbur skillet and she got the flight pancakes which is 6 short stacks diff. Flavor. Remember this place is hopping so 19 min. Later our meal came. Her pancake choices were cinnamon bun, pumpkin glaze and bourbon walnut. Our meals were simply delicious and we split both. Afterwards we were completely stuffed. With the meals, OJ and unlimited coffee our bill was $31. In nice weather you can also sit outside. The only reason why no 5th star is the waiting for food. I got an omelette with spinach, ham, American cheese which comes with an English muffin & breakfast potatoes, which was all around 10$ total for the food. Reasonable prices with pretty large portions. I enjoy it because of the location, I'm not a going out for breakfast person which is why i would've given it a 3, but if I was one of those, I would give it a 4 or 5 which is why I rounded it up. I've been to this Newtown location three times and the Blue Bell location two times. It's really nice to have another breakfast place to go to in Bucks County but I was disappointed because I could not help comparing the dishes I had to the ones I had enjoyed in Blue Bell. Blue Bell's portions for the same dish was a lot bigger, presentation a lot more impressive, and food tasted better, e.g. not as overcooked. Potatoes and shrimp was overcooked and really dry at Newtown. That being said I'm still glad Newtown got its own Turning Point. The service I have to say was excellent and the host and servers were all friendly and warm! read more
