We were in Phoenix from out of town and needed a place for happy hour after a baseball game. We were greeted by very friendly staff. We all got different wines, a large charcuterie board and a flatbread. Everything was really good. The owners were all working in the shop which really makes you know how much they care. This place is awesome! They rotate wine selections so it changes regularly. We are from Oregon and have a lot of good wineries here. We frequently drink wine, and this place offers really good wine and a good variety! We asked questions and they knew about all the different wines. It was impressive. This would be a great spot to get together with friends, coworkers, or a date. read more

Turquoise is a very welcome and long overdue addition to the West Valley. Run by a couple of fun and knowledgeable ladies, Turquoise has an excellent selection of wines, many at very reasonable pricing and none of them are on shelves at Safeway. They've got some tasty items to nibble on as well. We had the charcuterie board during a recent visit which had an impressive stack of meats and cheeses to go with their impressive stack of wines. They sell wine by the glass, bottle and by a flight of 3 different wines. Lots of options if you arrive undecided. They'll be adding patio seating soon, at the perfect time of year. Fun time for a surprise birthday party for Dawn tonight. We walked into a surprise wine tasting when I had been told it would be a slow night but it all worked out. Miss Jen was our server for the evening however the whole team kicked in to make it happen. There was no room for us but fortunately the tasting was just coming to an end and room was made for us. This isn't the first time we've had bad service. They completely ignore you when you come in. When we asked for a menu after being ignored we were told there is a reservation in two hours. What? Other times we've been there we've received no welcome and ignored. It's so odd. read more

Me and my husband made a reservation on Mothers Day for 2. When we arrived it was definitely packed so highly recommend a reservation. We were offered to sit inside but ultimately decide we would still sit outside as that's what we booked for the reservation. While we were seated and had water brought out with menus the waitress told us she would give us a few minutes to look over the menu and that's it. 28-30 min later nothing, no waitress in sight. I kept looking back and inside from the patio to see if maybe she got busy or as horrible as this is maybe she forgot we were out there and would prompt her to remember us and come out and serve us but nothing. finally my husband and I decided we would leave and it wasn't until my husband kindly walked the menus back in was the waitress overly apologetic with huge eyes and it was obvious she forgot about us out in the patio or she got too busy to serve the customers on the patio, either way how sad as we were ready to order and give our business to this place. Now I will tell the realtor that recommended this place to maybe not send clients there as this is the type of experience we had. read more

My wife & I were sadly disappointed as we felt Turquoise was too expensive for being located in a strip mall. Our appetizers were small for the price & we left hungry despite our bill. We saw on other patrons' tables the pizza & flatbread & so glad we didn't order that as it should have been half the price. We were charged $12 for a corkage fee! The place was cramped & was not a warm, welcoming place. Yes, the servers were efficient & the wine plentiful but overall we felt uncomfortable here. We'll not return. read more

I thought the Charcuterie board was great. The wine was fine. 3 doesn't seem like much of a flight. The barmaids were nothing more than pourers. I didn't need to hear about their boyfriends and the concert they want to go to that kinda killed the vibe. I prefer a wine tasting that is more involved instead of a piece of scrap paper with notes. This spot has everything you want in a wine tasting experience: robust varietals, delicious quick bites, fantastic friendly service, and a boutique ambiance. For first timers, I recommend visiting earlier in the day to meet the wonderful staff and talk through what makes Turquoise unique and to get a more personalized experience. My husband and I really enjoyed chatting with the staff and learning more about the wine club and the fun events and experiences offered at this bottle shop. What a wonderful experience we had this weekend. This ship is beautiful and run by some amazing ladies. Their wine selection was great. We got to try local AZ wines along with wines from all over the world. The atmosphere was unlike any wine shop I've been too. We came in on a Sunday to experience the mimosa flights. Omg... so yummy! My favorite was the white cranberry and sage. Just delicious! The presentation was beautiful and the food was great. We ordered the cheese plate and the margarita flatbread. Unfortunately I didn't get pictures because my husband and son dove in so fast, they ruined my chance. We also got a champagne cupcake and that was fantastic! So good we had to take another to go! What a fun shop. Oh! And the service was amazing. They are so personable, knowledgeable and fun!
